3D Retro arcade game.
Morning - The fab Dr over at the Dr Digi's house of stamps had created this ace papercut for us to play with! It forms a retro arcade game and is really simple to construct. This papercut will be available in the shop very soon!
I printed it out on thick strong card and would recommend at least a 260gsm to make it sturdy. I then cut around the whole shape -}
I then scored along all the fold lines so they were nice and crisp . This helps it form the shape really easy.
I put glue on all the tabs and allowed them to become tacky - I then folded the shape together and used a paper clip to hold it whilst the glue dried.
And here are the finished results - The bottom is hollow so it could be stuff with treat size chocolate bars like Milky Ways and used as a gift box...
Thanks for stopping by and hope you all enjoy this new product.... there may be others coming soon also to keep your eyes peeled!!

Koalaty Pun!!
Morning - How cool is this Dude?? So cool - it's his name! This is Keith the Cool Koala
And you know how much I love a pun... so I hope you agree this is a "Koalaty" card... you get it??
I die cut the edge of the card with a Puffy cloud die from Lawn Fawn and covered the corner of the base card with green spotty paper from My Favourite Things - Just delightful Citrus paper. I cut a balloon shape from the same paper.
I used 3d foam to attach Keith and the balloon and used a thin black marker pen to make it look like he was holding the balloon.
I used Doodlebug Love letters sticker to spell out "Koalaty" and the other words are from Harolds ABC alphabet stamps which I stamped with black ink
I used a little bit of white and black pen to add some little details.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Keith's fur - Cool Grey 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 with a little Black
Ears - Baby Pink, Cocktail Pink & Antique Pink
Eyes - Pear Green.
I would like to enter Keith the Cool Koala into the following challenges -
Have a "Koalaty" day!

When Pigs Fly.
Hello- The DT are back from a little summer break over at The Paper shelter - New challenge starts today over on the blog #305and the theme is Punches and dies
I've used this funny image called When Pigs fly
I cut a square card into a round card base and die cut the tree boarder using a Lawn Fawn die on some glazed bazzill. I glued some cloud patterened paper from Echo Park Summer days collection and then cut them all to shape to match the round base.
I used punches to make the cloud from swiss dot bazzil and glued these so they overhang the edge of the card. I coloured the pig and bird with promarkers and then used an acetate strip to attach the pig to appear to fly and move around. I covered his wings with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen in clear.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the images -
Pig - Pastel Pink & Antique pink with Warm grey hooves and shading on his wings.
Bird - Warm Grey 1,2,3 & 5 with a Gold beak.
It was quite a quick and simple on to make so give it a try.
And dont forget you can win this great prize -}
See you all again soon, Liz (:(|)x

Feeling spoilt with All Dressed Up New Challenge.
There is a new challenge starting at All dressed up challenge blog and I have used this image called Feeling Spoilt. Well with all the stunning images at All Dressed Up - how could I not feel Spoilt! I am so lucky to have access to all the gorgeousness that Wendy creates!
I used a My Favourite things scalloped stitched edge die to cut away the corner of the base card and layered some blue striped paper behind it which is from Doodlebug Kraft in Colour paper pad. I used a black promarker to colour the wooden chandelier which is chipboard from Wycinanka. I then used some Liquid pearls to add detail along with some gems. I then cut this down and glued to the corresponding section of the card. Across the image I added the greeting which is from Kaisercraft Clear stickers collection. Finally I added some small red hearts which I got from Hobbycraft.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Cor
al & Spice with cocktail pink cheeks.
Hair - Cool Grey 2, 4 & 5
Flower & Gift - Poppy & Burgundy & Leaf green.
Table -Powder blue
Drink - Cocktail Pink
Dress -Sky Blue, True Blue, Royal Blue & Egyptian Blue.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Retro Roller skating - wired for sound.
So I was late creating this card today as I was playing around with Video tech & editing trying to do a tutorial for the Dr... (I will get there so stand by for a future project... teaser!!)
I have used Wired for Sound and just knew I had to do her with this paper from Crate Paper - Oh Darling collection. I love the Retro Roller skates and I used to have a pair just like them with a big pink stopper! There is actually a Roller Rink in our town so I think its cool again - but I've never been!
I used the same paper collection to die cut the oval using a My Favourite things die and also the flag. I mirrored this shape in matting the greeting which is from Pebbles onto Grey Bazzill. The circles are a sizzix die which I used on pink satin card. I used some twine to attach a Roller skate charm to the die.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers -
Top - Honeydew, Mint Green, Grass & Meadow Gree,
Hair - Buttercup, Pineapple crush, Mustard & Sleigh Bells.
Skin - Usual
Warm Grey 3,4 &5
Hot Pink, Carmine & Cocktail pink.
Well - sorry for being late! Hope she was worth the wait!!
See you all again soon!

All Dressed Up August New Release - Surf's Up!
Its that time of the month we over at the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog we show you all the latest new release images and once again Wendy has created some fabulous digis.
You can see them all on the blog and see the full catalogue at the All Dressed Up Etsy shop.
I've played with an image called Surfs Up
I created the band by cutting a section from a separate card and covered it with paper from Bella Blvd Campout collection. I used a My Favourite Things stitched wonky edge die cut to create a wave type edge. I used a different patttern to create the fish stripe below the wave. I also covered the top half of the card with My Favourite Things watercolour wash.
I coloured the image with promarkers and cut around them. I printed the second one out in reverse and removed the letters in Paint programme as they were back to front.
I attached the Sharks using 3d foam with the larger one hanging over the fold.
I used Kaisercraft clear sticker for Happy Birthday and I added the letters to spell out Dude which are from Echo Park I love Summer collection.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Crab - Canary, Gold, Bright Orange & Orange.
Powder blue & Warm Grey 1 for shading
Surf Board - Lemon & Canary & Lime Zest, Lime Twist & Lime Green.
Sharks - Cool Aqua, Oasis & Frosted Jade.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Crazy 4 Challenges - Summer Fun
Dis Digi Design - Just add water

More Christmas with Dr Digi...
Morning - Its Sunday so it means its time for a new Dr Digi creation and today I have done another Christmas card using Rescue Squad http://www.doctor-digi.com/digital-stamp-christmas/digital-stamp-Rescue-Squad
I die cut the front of the kraft card to cut away the top corner using a My Favourite things die called stitched wonky edge. I used the same die to cut a strip from Red paper and also a white panel that I attached the image onto. I used a glittery paper from My Minds Eye Comfort and Joy paper collection to cover the inside of the card so the top section shows through.
I used prismacolour pencils to colour the image for a change to Promarkers. And I think I definitely need more practice to perfect this medium. I attached the panel onto the base card with 3D foam and finally added a Hobbycraft kraft greeting.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Crafty Friends - Christmas in July
Crafty Hazelenuts Christmas - 3 of something - 3 layers & 3 die cuts.
4 Crafty Chicks - Masculine
Creative Knockouts - Furry Friends
Sweet Stampin Christmas
Merry Christmas Challenge - Animals
Paper Craft Happy - ATG with an animal
Shopping our stash - Christmas
So I promise next week we will go back to something sunny and Warm!!
