Old enough to know better...

This is Svetlana & Cyril...from Dr Digi - aren't they fab. I love Cyril's face and how pleased he is with himself for having such a blessed Nurse! And don't be fooled by him - he knows exactly what he is doing hiring Svetlana to care for him in his old age! The greeting is from Birthday Sentiments 1.

I've left the image and greeting to take centre stage but I'll have to think carefully about who I'd give this card too... wouldn't want to offend! The paper is from October Afternoon pack called Woodland Park. I used a little glaze on Cyril's glasses and also some silver pen on his wheelchair. I mounted the image onto blue Bazzill basics and attached with 3d foam. Finally I added a few homemade enamel dots.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, blush, soft peach, coral & spice.
Svetlana's hair - Primrose, soft lime & lemon.
Lips - Cerise & Hot pink.
Dress - Tea Green for shadow.
Cyrils jacket - Soft Khaki & Khaki
Top - Linen & Warm grey 2
Trousers - Midnight blue, Indigo blue & Navy Blue.
Wheels, shoes & Hair - Warm greys.
Wheelchair - Ice greys
Cushion - Cardinal red & Burgundy.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges...

I made this card for the Balloon theme challenge over at I love promarkers

(Which reminds me I've just bought a trouser hanger to put my ribbon reels on... I'll post a picture if it works??!)
The gems are Jade from Papermania and I used a punch which rounds the corners and did this on the black mount card also.

I used these promarkers & flexmarkers -
Skin - Soft peach, Blush & Antique white.
Balloon - Cerise, Frosted Pink & Lobster & Soft Lime, Tulip & Sunflower.
Hair & Basket - Apricot, Nutmeg, Raw sienna & Cocoa.

Professor Dummkopf.

Morning - Its Wednesday so it's time for a new challenge at I love Promarkers and this week is an ANYTHING GOES theme... So no excuses for not playing along!

The sponsor is Dr Digi and I used this image called Professor Dummkopf .

I had these papers from My Minds Eye called Cut and Paste "Flair" and I thought they would go perfectly with the Glasses theme. I used a wooden embellishement for a pair for glasses that I stuck some goggly eyes into the lenses. The letters are from Hobbycraft and I just cut the coordinating paper into a banner shape and added a ribbon bow.

I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the Professor -
Skin -  Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Shoes & Hair - Warm Greys
Trousers - Khaki & Soft Khaki.
Jumper - Crimson & Burgandy.
Clipboard - Sandstone, Cinamon & Cocoa. I also used some silver pen on the top clip.

Beach Bum Bob

Sorry I'm late with this post - Its been up on the Dr Digi page since Sunday but I had a crazy morning... This is what I wrote  -

Morning All - Wow I would love to be relaxing somewhere with a cocktail right now... Really rubbish morning so far! I've been working late so was trying to get this post up for your this morning as soon as I woke but my laptop has decided to die on me! Ever tried to do a blog post via an ipad??

Anyway to cut a long story short.... I'm now rushing!! But hopefully you will be able to see the Fabulous Beach Bum Bob below.... I am so very ready for a holiday by the sea in some tropical paradise...

Our Bob still has his party shirt on despite the fact hes stranded... nothing will get him down!
Check him and his mates out over at the shop at Dr Digi

I used 3 different papers from Kaisercraft Say Aloha collection and cut around the flowers from one sheet to create the front, which I raised slightly with 3D foam. Even the greeting is from the paper pack. I love using packs which have everything all co-ordinating! The flamingo paper clip is from Tesco!

I coloured Bob using Promarkers and Flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Shorts - Soft Khaki & Khaki.
Hair - Warm grey 2 & 4
Bag & Hat -  Saffron & Raw Sienna.
Shirt - Baby pink, Cerise & Magenta.
Coconut - Henna & Saddle Brown.
I edged around Bob with Powder blue to make him standout a bit.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Heart 2 Heart - Good day Sunshine.
Digi Choosday - For the Men.
Crafty Boots - Fair & Square.

Gemma's Birthday

I love this stamp called  Uptown Bentley gets blown away from Stamping Bella.
I made this card for the Boyfs cousin Gemma. I went with all bright summery warm colours to celebrate her birthday.

I love these colours together. Yellow is def my favourite at the mo - Maybe its the summer vibe and the memory of sunshine (Haven't had much of the real thing!)
The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and I have this twill in every colour. I love it - I think the width if perfect to make it a feature on the card.
I cut  circle from Echo park paper called Blue Sky using a Fiskars circle cutter. I covered the square card in two different patterned papers from My Favourite things Dots and stripes paper called Sherbet. The Greeting is from Pebbles and the letters spelling out Gemma are from Doodlebug. The gem swirls are from Hobbycraft. I added glaze to the middle balloon and then sprinkled some Cosmic Shimmer it before it set. I attached the image using 3D foam.

I used these Promarkers / flexmarkers on this card -
Skin - Soft peach, Blush & Antique white.
Hair - Sleigh Bells, Mustard, Pineapple crush, Buttercup
Dress - Soft Lime, Primrose, Lemon, Canary & Sunflower.
Trim & Shoes - Baby pink , Cerise, Frosted pink, Pink Lobster & Maroon

U Shine.

Hello World. I am actually at work whilst your reading this. Clever technology isn't it! Speaking of technology - I love this Lightbulb image from Dr Digi. And guess what... IT IS FREE!!! RESULT!

You could use this image for so many occassions - New Home, Passing exams, Valentines or any celebration.

I really wanted the colours to jump off the page so I used a matt black background. Its a great way to use up scraps of paper. And being a Digi image - you can print it to whatever size you need. The big bulb I printed onto Mirri card first and stuck with 3D foam to make it stand out a little more. The smaller bulbs I used silver pen rather than Mirri and glued them to the base. I used a white pen to add the edges, the light cords and also to give the bulb a shine.

I added some Doodlebug letters to say "U SHINE" and finished it off with some co-ordinating twine.

Make sure you take a look at the other images in the Dr Digi shop - All the Bits and bobs are great additions to your crafty collection.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
ABC Challenge - O is for Open (ATG)
Cards in Envy - A2 Birthday.
Hiding in my craft room - Super Scraps.
Speedy fox - Use Twine.

I printed the digi image quite big and allowed Our Deirdery and her furry companion to take centre stage. Obviously she had gone to get her purple rinse so I stuck with the purple colour scheme!

I used a Spellbinders nestability to cut around the image and layered it onto Doodlebug Glitter card stock. I used some two tone ribbon glued to the top and used the reverse to make the bow. I added a couple of gems in coordinating colours and added the colour panel using 3d foam. I added a little glaze to the dryers to give a glass effect.
