Happy Hogmanay

Happy New Years Eve... or Hogmanay if you are in Scotland. I'm not... we are actually at friends in Wales so we are Celtic at least. But I have always fancied a New Years celebration at a big Scottish Castle on a Loch!
So here is Hamish McDougal to wish you all a Happy New Year and I hope 2018 is a fantastic time for you all!

I used promarkers to colour the image and I used My Favourite Things wonky stitched die cut frame. I use papers from Echo Park and stamped the greeting across the bottom.

So this is me - waving goodbye to 2017 and welcoming in 2018... lets hope it holds lots of happy times for all!

Merry Christmas

So... it's Christmas Eve!! I think we are just about sorted! Its crazy so much time and preparation goes into one day!! I never feel ready no matter how early I start and I still have a  few friends that will be getting New Years cards instead of Christmas cards!!!

This card was made using Simple Santa  from Dr Digi and coloured with Promarkers. I die cut the frame using a My Favourite things scalloped die. All the papers are from Doodlebug as are the letters spelling out Mum and Dad. I used red mirri card to die cut the Merry Christmas. I also used some stickles on the fluffy trim on his clothing.

Right I have the last few little finishing touches to do... I have to go make fudge and a Nutella christmas tree!

Have a Merry Christmas and I will be back in 2018 if not before if Father Christmas brings me some crafty goodies to play with!!

Thanks for all your support and lovely comments through the year,

Happy Christmas you Filthy Animal!

Ok so I am cheating a little as I am kind of using last weeks idea and doing it again but this time I used Double Bass Dougs christmas hat on Cuddly Critters Pig.
I just couldn't get this saying out of my head! Its a christmas classic of a film to quote though. I did toy with the idea of putting the hat on the grumpy gorilla but figured a festive pig  was more in keeping with Christmas (I love crackling and pork pies and pigs in blankets etc...)

So the last minute dash is on to get all my christmas cards made and as usual it all my family cards that get left till last!!

The papers are all from Pebbles Holly Jolly papers and I used Lawn Fawn Harolds Abc stanps to do the greeting. The Merry Christmas is a die cut from green mirri. The Image panel and the mount are die cut from My favourite things double stitched oval dies.

I used promarkers to colour the image -
Baby Pink and Blossom with Warm grey 3 for shading.
Hat - Poppy, ruby & Burgundy with Leaf green and emerald.
Eyes - Powder blue and cloud blue
Bell - Gold and Canary.

Hope you like him and you still have time to get more cards made... keep going?!!

Good Morning  - Today is the start of a new challenge over at I love Promarkers.
The theme is Anything Goes and the sponsor is Bugaboo who have some wicked images. I have used an image called  Christmas Troll  to make a special card for my Goddaughter as Trolls are very trendy!

I mounted everything on kraft card which matches the Gingerbread men and die cut a scalloped edge using a My Favourite things die and also a nestibilities dies to create the scalloped circle. I used green glittered letters to spell out the name and a small peel off which I coloured with promarkers to match.
Finally on the sweets I added some glaze and some Cosmic shimmer glitter.

Boys Christmas Stocking.

I absolutly love new release time at All Dressed Up. I am so lucky to get these images to play with but not only that ... Wendy lets us make requests for images!! This month I was asked by  a friend to make Christmas Cards for her Son and Daughter. I even got to send her photos of the children and they are just perfect little mini me's of them!! I am sure they will be really popular with lots of you out there too.

This one is called Boys Christmas Stocking.

I covered the base card with paper from Pink Fresh December days collection and then used a scalloped edge die to cut a strip of red paper from American Crafts. Wild Onesie Wynona

Morning - I had fun making this one! This is Onesie Wynona and I just knew I had to use this paper with her! I reckon she'd be a right Cougar..Lol!
These days I would happily spend my nights in my Onesie rather than going out for a night and I do love a singsong!

The paper is from Kaisercraft Say Ahola and it has a texture with the black markings being glossy. This actually made it really hard to shade but think shows up enough to give her some definition. I used My favourite things letter dies with the same paper to die cut Wild and stamped the greeting either side. The stamps are also from MFT and called Essential sentiments.
I used a My Favourite things Scalloped stitched edge die on the card front and also on pink mirri card.

Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice
Baby Pink, Carmine & Hot Pink

I've included a closer picture so you can see the lovely shimmer on the polar bear which I got using a Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen and a little stickles. The ribbon and wooden embellisment are for Hobby craft. The pink background paper is from Pink Fresh Oh Joy collection which I think is my favourite so for Christmas papers.

I coloured the image using promarkers - A little powder blue on the polar bear and Blossom and baby pink on Wynn's clothes. I used warm greys on her hair and the fox.

Just look at this amazing prize... how much fun I could have spending this!!! FINGERS CROSSED!

Hello - did this card for the Bellarific Friday at Stamping Bella and used Uptown Girl Monique loves Macarons.
I coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils and then added some dots with white pen and some stickles on the Macarons.

I used My Favourite things inside outside stitched dies to create the panels and layered them all together on Kraft. The Papers are from Doodlebug Kraft in colour collection.

Hope you like her... I can't decide on a sentiment so any ideas be gratefully received!!
