Fanks Drac

Morning all.
I am feeling fresh after my extra hours sleep and still buzzing from the exciting game of World Cup Rugby yesterday. England are in the final!! I am writing this whilst watching the other semi final of Wales v South Africa.
So my card today is using Drac's Dentures  from Dr Digi. Now we don't really do Halloween but it is becoming such a massive event now and Dr Digi has loads of fab fun images but my point is - they are also really good for other celebrations. So I have used this image to make a Thank You card, but it could be a Get well card or a Older Birthday card.

I've coloured Drac with copics and teamed him with Doodlebug papers and letters to spell out the greeting. The bats are little peel offs and the black gem swirls are from Hobbycraft.

I  hope you like my card for today and have a great weekend (Despite the rain!)
Fingers crossed for an even better weekend next time with the Rugby World Cup final!!!

Toasty Greetings

Hello - its time for a new challenge at I love promarkers and the theme is Snowman. We were all able to pick any image we wanted this week so I used my stamps from My Favourite things called Toasty Greetings.

I have used papers from Doodlebug Frosty friends collection and die cut a glitter base using a Lawn Fawn boarder die. I added some yellow and star dust stickles to give the images and fire a little twinkle. I stamped the greeting from the same set and added some yellow gems and snowflake ribbon from Hobbycraft.

I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Marshmallows & Stick- Baby pink, Cocoa & Raw Sienna.
Fire & trim - Canary, Gold & Bright Orange.
Coat - Wild Orchid, Purple Velvet & Plum.
Penguin - Warm Grey 1, 3, 4 & 5
Powder blue shading on the white areas.

I hope you like my bright card. I had fun colouring these and will be doing lots more!
Stay warm,

All Dressed up - Love my pets.

Hello - Today is the start of a new Challenger at All Dressed Up and the theme is always Anything Goes but the creation must use an All dressed up image. You can even get freebies to play along here.
You could win your personal choice of 3 All Dressed Up digi images; be selected as one of the Top 3 or be chosen as guest Designer for our next Challenge.

I have used an image called Love my pets which you can get from the Esty shop by just clicking on the name. I am sometimes conscientious that all my cards are very bright so I purposefully tried to keep this quite muted and pastel... well it is for me!!

To make this card I cut a panel from blue (Or is it lilac??) and mounted on this the pastel pink patterned paper from My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing collection called Honey. I printed the image and used my Friskar cutter to cut the oval panel - along with two other nested layers in pink and grey bazzill. I cut the die cut fence from a Magnolia die and layered the image on it and also placed a die cut tree behind the fence but over the image panel.
I glued a stripe of co-ordinating ribbon on to the bottom and then found the gorgeous iridescent gems from Hobbycraft that are just the right colour. Finally I added a paper daisy with another yellow flower attached in the middle to give it some more dimension.

I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Hair - Cinnamon, Cocoa, Burnt Sienna & Henna
Skirt - Pale Blossom, Baby Pink & Rose Pink
Jacket -  Powder blue & Capri Blue
Bunny - Ice Grey 1, 2 & 5
Grass - Lime Zest, Leaf Green & Pear Green
Sky - Powder blue.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Hope to see your entries over at the challenge blog.

Gemma's Birthday

I love this stamp called  Uptown Bentley gets blown away from Stamping Bella.
I made this card for the Boyfs cousin Gemma. I went with all bright summery warm colours to celebrate her birthday.

I love these colours together. Yellow is def my favourite at the mo - Maybe its the summer vibe and the memory of sunshine (Haven't had much of the real thing!)
The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and I have this twill in every colour. I love it - I think the width if perfect to make it a feature on the card.
I cut  circle from Echo park paper called Blue Sky using a Fiskars circle cutter. I covered the square card in two different patterned papers from My Favourite things Dots and stripes paper called Sherbet. The Greeting is from Pebbles and the letters spelling out Gemma are from Doodlebug. The gem swirls are from Hobbycraft. I added glaze to the middle balloon and then sprinkled some Cosmic Shimmer it before it set. I attached the image using 3D foam.

I used these Promarkers / flexmarkers on this card -
Skin - Soft peach, Blush & Antique white.
Hair - Sleigh Bells, Mustard, Pineapple crush, Buttercup
Dress - Soft Lime, Primrose, Lemon, Canary & Sunflower.
Trim & Shoes - Baby pink , Cerise, Frosted pink, Pink Lobster & Maroon
Balloons - Pinks & Yellow as above. Bright Orange & Mango.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Crafty Cardmakers - Warm Summer Colours.
Craft-dee Bowz - Handmade bow.
