Morning -
I don't know about you but 2018 flew by for me - I can't believe we are nearly in March already and to think it will be
2020 soon. When I was a kid I imagined in 2020 we would all be living in
space and flying around on hoverboards like something from Back to the
Future!! But reality is we prob won't have encoutered an Aliens like our Captain Gneng
Right - I better get on... got to get some miles in before some more DIY! No wonder the days are flying by !!
See you soon,

Be My Valentine flowers
Good evening
Have you seen the amazing new release images at All Dressed Up?? They are just beautiful!! This one I coloured is called Be My Valentine. You can see all the new release images and the Design Teams inspiration here at the blog
I used Copics to colour the image and the papers are from My Favourite Things. I wrapped some twine around and tied a little bow. Finally I added a little wooden embellishment of the word "Love"
I hope you like my inspiration!!

Show your Wings
Good Morning - The new challenge at The paper shelter challenge blog has begun and the theme is Things with Wings. I think I must interpret the themes a bit literally but I had wanted an excuse to colour this image for a while so I went for it over the Fairies and Butterflies! This image is called
Lady with Wings
and I've teamed it up with a stamped greeting from The Paper Shelter. I die cut the image using a Lawn Fawn circular die and the paper is from My Favourite Things.
I know this is a fairly simple card but I really love how its turned out and it was fun to colour with the copics. It doesn't show to well on this card but I added a pale cloud background using the copic and blender pen so it was quite subtle.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will all join the challenge for a chance to win a voucher to spend on these fab images!!

Bertha's Bloomin Box
Morning - I don't know about where you live but in my neck of the woods this weekend it has been lovely weather and definitely feels like Spring is in the air - although I'm sure I saw a weather report that said more frost and cold was to come at the end of Feb. Luckily it was nice yesterday as we decided to tile our new porch floor and I was outside most of the day cutting tiles. Us crafters are very versatile in our skill sets!!
So Dr Digi was also feeling the spring awakening and I got to play with this brand new image called Bertha's Bloomin Box. I made it into a Mothers day card as my Mum has green fingers so this image will be perfect for her!
And I went full on bright and colourful using paper from Basic Grey and a twisted easel card base. These are really easy but effective - simply create a hill fold diagonally across the front of the card and then add a little ridge on the base card to hold it up and not slip forward. And it still folds flat and fits in a normal square envelope.
I used a greeting stamp from My Favourite things and some 3d flowers that I've had so long I can't remember where they were from!! The image was coloured with Copics.
Right - I have grouting to do!! My life is so wild!!!
Have a lovely Sunday peeps,

Love All dressed Up Bunny
Hello - Time for me to share with you my latest Design team card for All Dressed Up. This time I've used a section of an image called A time to give - I edited the image and then printed just the Bunny part to colour and cut out. I knew I wanted the Bunny to be a shade of grey but I actually used B60 and then the palate developed from there. I only used 6 pens - so shows what you can do with a limited selection.
Im really pleased with how she has turned out although I tried to stamp the greeting in a pale grey but it looked a bit patchy so I ended up going over it with my black copic.
The papers are from My Favourite things and the enamel heart is from My Minds Eye and the stamped greeting is from Paper Smooches.
You can find all the other DT cards and the challenge blog details here -} February challenge #90
I would love to see lots of All Dressed Up creations!

Mwah Mermaid
Morning - I have created a card to show you today using this fab image called - Rolling in the deep I love that she is embracing her curves and is not afraid to show them!! I love that so many of the Dr Digi ladies are plus sized, full of fun and confidence.
Not sure I'll be posing like this in the near future and not only cos the weather is too cold but I'm certainly developing a similar waist line!!!
All for now,
Mwah, Liz (:(|)x
Chocolate - is the answer to everything!
Hello - I love the Edna stamps and the curves and attitude of this lady!! I made this card for my Mums Birthday as we all love chocolate in our family and she is great fun to colour up. I tried to make the wings look translucent and added a little Wink of Stella to give them a sheen.
I hope you like her - I know my Mum chuckled at her Edna card.
All for now,

Our Chemistry is undeniable
Morning - the new challenge starting today at The paper shelter challenge blog has begun. The theme this week is "For the one you love" and I have used this brilliant image called Science!
My other half is a bit of a chemistry geek and even called his business Alcimi and the logo is a Conical flask - so this will be a great Valentines day card for him!
I had fun making the background with stamps from My Favourite things and I used a greeting from this stamp set too.
The paper is from ....
I hope you like the card I've made and will join in the challenge at The Paper shelter - the images really are a pleasure to colour up!

It is not Normal...
Hello. So you know how I'm often quite smug about jogging every now and again... well I decided I needed to go for a run on Thursday morning despite it being a bit icy and cold ... anyway - Long story short... I now have my right wrist in a splint. Luckily I had coloured a few Dr Digi images up recently so today I just needed to make it into a card. This wasn't as easy as I expected without full use of me right hand - especially when trying to cut!!
So the Mad Hatter is a perfect character for my week!! As its not Normal to go running on frozen paths. I also went a bit crazy colouring him but it was fun to do something different.
Have a great day and hope the ice is melting!
