The Paper Shelter 7th Birthday

Good Morning everyone and welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop. We are here to celebrate it's 7th Birthday on the 8th of December. It will be a two week challenge and both Design teams are taking part.

So here is my card... using this gorgeous image called The Glamorous Girls

The gorgeous gold background paper is from My Minds Eye Market Street pad and the gold letters are from American Crafts Thickers. The only other thing I have added is a few wraps of red Twine which I tied in a bow.
I used gold pen on the girls and these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour them -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice with Baby pink cheeks.
Hair & Dress  - Warm Greys
Dress - Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Glasses - Powder blue
Hair - Raw Sienna, Sleigh Bells, Pineapple crush and Buttercup

The Paper Shelter Birthday Blog Hop

Good Morning - Today we are Hopping! Welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop to celebrate the 6th Birthday of this fab company and it's gorgeous images on December 8th. It will be a two week challenge and both Design Teams are taking part.

The Design Team have all made stunning creations which really show off the gorgeous images available from the Paper Shelter Website. On each blog that you hopto you can leave a comment and be in with a chance of winning a digi of your choise - Just for saying Hello! For my Special Birthday card I have made a card for my friend to give to her Mum for her 70th Birthday. I have used a Paper Shelter image called Regina.
I used papers from Bo Bunny Collection called A gift of life and die cut some feathers from the papers to tie all the colours and patterns together. I used a Lawn Fawn cloud edge die which I used on the black card and also the white pearl base card. The letters and numbers are thickers from American Crafts and I used a few co-ordinating enamel dots along with some silver pen to add details and make it extra special!

I used these promarkers  and flexmarkers to colour Regina -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft peach, Coral & Spice.
Hair, Boots & Cain - Warm Greys.
Skirt - Oasis, Turquoise & Marine
Jacket & Hat - Wild Orchid, Purple Velvet & Plum
Feathers & lining  - Lime Zest, Lime Green & Pear Green.
Finally I edged it all with Soft lime.
