Cake - I love the cake!

This card is for my second post as part of Dr Digi Design Team. You can find the image here...
Its simply called Cake and Candles. It is a brand new release and it is one of those essential images that you can use over and over again. And even better its only £1.00! It could be coloured or paper pieced to match any of your background papers or made huge to be the cards itself... umm I like that idea - think I'll try that myself! There are loads of great images and 4 new ones this week for you to create with... I want them all!!

Card recipe -
Doodblebug papers - The flowery glittery red paper is called Sweet Cakes - appropriate huh?!
Cake - Sleigh bells, Sunflower, Tulip, Buttercup, Ivory.
Jam - Sunset red, Molten red & Ruby.
Icing - Carmine & Baby Pink covered with Pink chunky doodlebugs glitter.
Flames - Orange and Yellow stickles.
Candles - Green & Lush Green.

I added a section of yellow ribbon to conceal the join between the two papers and die cut white and Black paper using Spellbinders dies. I used 3d foam to attach it to the die cuts and give it dimension.
The greeting is a stamp from Sizzix which I used the stickles on again- as a final touch I added a  pink heart button.

I am entering this card into the following challenges -

www.papertakeweekly.blogspot.co.uk - Anything Goes

www.craftyourpassionchallenges.blogspot.co.uk Challenge 256 Anything Goes.

www.whimsyinspires.blogspot.co.uk - Challenge 81 die cut
www.promarkerchallenge.blogspot.co.uk - Birthday
www,digichoosday.blogspot.co.uk - Use A die.

All for now - hope you like and I'll be back soon as Ive just bought myself a whole heap of new papers and crafty stuff that I MUST be playing with!!
