Big Hugs & Naps

Evening - Todays new challenge at The Paper Shelter is to use a fancy fold. This was quite a challenge for me as I don't do these very often. I have used a twisted easel card and my image from the paper shelter is called The Best Nap ever

I used Nestibilities die to cut the image frame and mounted this on to gold mirri. I used a Lawn Fawn big scripty word to die cut Big Hugs from gold mirri and also white card and I glued several of these together to form a stopper for the Easel. The patterned papers are from My Minds Eye - Miss Caroline. I used a little diamond stickles on the hat and added a little wooden elephant (Which I think was Kaisercraft?) Finally I added some Craftwork cards candy dots.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, soft peach, blush, coral, spice.
Hair - Tawny Owl, Grey Squirrel, Morning Mist.
Primrose, Buttercup & Pineapple Crush. Sea Mist & Honeydew
Elephant - Soft Mauve, Heather, orchid & Spring Lilac. Warm Grey 1 & 2 toes & Cerise & Baby pink ears.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

I hope you like this card as much as I do - Its not the norm for me to do pastel and I like the softness of it!
Pop in again soon.
