I have been sorting through my photos and found this card that I forgot to show you. I made this for my Friend Stacey who had a beautiful wedding in Sandbanks, Poole which we had the pleasure of attending.
Stacey and I have been friends for years and her new hubby Barry is just lovely! Stacey loves pink so I was certain the wedding would have a pink theme and made them this card (There wasn't actually any pink to be seen - it was a lovely cream and neutral colour scheme.)
The image is from Stamping Bella and is called Uptown Couple Brett & Brenda get married and it is my "go to " image for weddings.
To make this card I covered the base card in a paper I have had for ages from KI Memories Soul Mates. I stamped the image and then trimmed the panel down to cut around her leg and dress. I added some lovely lace to the side and tied some thin pink sparkly twine around the edge. I spelt out the names using gold letters I got from Hobbycraft and added some diamond stickles to her dress for extra sparkle. I used Doodlebug numbers to add the wedding date and used gems to add detail.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Dress - Pink Mittens, Baby Pink, Cocktail & Magenta
Hair - Vanilla, Buttercup, Pineapple crush & sleigh bells.
Bouquet - Pear green & Moss green
Suit - Warm greys
His Hair - Caramel, Raw Sienna, Chestnut & Warm grey.
I'm really pleased with how this turned out and it is just perfect for Stacey!
Thanks for stopping by and reading my post -

St Davids Day with a Dragon.
Morning - I have made this card for the Welshies in my life. Wed 1st March is St Davids Day and what image would be better than a big red Welsh Dragon. This is an image called BBQ Dragon from Dr Digi,
Now don't be confusing this with me supporting the Welsh rugby team - I definitely do not!! (Come on England!) But my Godchildren live in Wales and try to teach me Welsh words but I've not picked up many that are useful!
I wanted to keep it white and green across the background so at to represent the Welsh Flag. I due cut the green patterned paper from American crafts Colour of memories collection using a MFT stitched edge boarder. The white paper is Swiss Dot from Bazzill and I also used this to die cut the clouds.
I mounted both pieces onto red mirri card and tied red twine around the - securing with a bow and then a little wooden die cut heard from Wycinanka. I used yellow and orange peel stickles on the flames to make them sparkle, along with silver pen on the spear. Finally I added three little yellow resin flowers that were the closest thing I had to Daffodils in my stash!!
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Dragon - Red, Poppy, Ruby, Cardinal Red & Burgundy.
Flames - Summer Sun, Sunflower, Gold & Bright Orange.
Chicken - Tan, Raw Sienna & Cinnamon.
There is some big news coming later this week so stay tuned for that!! I know - I'm teasing you!
Have a lovely Sunday,

Mum's 70th Birthday
Morning - I know I told you it was my Mum's70th birthday recently but I don't think I showed you the card I made for her using Stamping Bella - Uptown Girl Brittany the Birthday Girl
(As a side issue... how are is it to photograph a card that has foiling detail on it??!) The kraft card has lovely gold detailled flags and is from Dear Lizzy American Crafts.
I die cut a banner from Purple swiss dot bazzill card and used Doodlebug letter stickers to spell put 70th. I mirrored the big bow of the image with a big purple ribbon bow from Paperchase and then added the Happy Birthday which I cut in half to fit in the space better. These are from Pebbles. I also added a little silver pen to add details and some co-ordinating purple gems from Papermania
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft peach, Coral, Spice and Baby Pink.
Hair - Warm grey 5 & 3
Cake - Gold, Sunflower & Canary.
Dress - Pink Pearl, Spring lilac, Wild Orchid, Red violet & Imperial Purple.
I hope you like it - I know Mum did. We bought her a lovely necklace too made up of 7 rings and with an amethyst in the middle as this is the Birthstone for February and why I went with this purple and gold theme.
See you back here soon with some very exciting news....

Life is sweet.
Today is the start of a new challenge at I love Promarkers and the theme this time is Shabby Chic.
The sponsor is Fabrika Fantasy and the image I have used is called Summer Fairy.
For this card I used a MFT double stitched oval die to cut around the image and sizzix swirl 2 die from kraft card. I attached some Butterflies which I coloured with Promarkers and also some berries and leaves. The greeting is from Jillibean Soup labels and the base card is flittered and glazed and is from Best creations.
I made this and then decided that it hadn't really turned out as Shabby chic as I wanted so I made another.... Post part II!

We have Undeniable Chemistry
Morning - Today I am showing you the card I have made using Prof Dummkopf and I have combined this with papers from Taylored Expressions - Formula For Love paper collection and My Favourite things "Undeniable Chemistry" Diea and stamps.
I used the dies to create a shaker topper with the Chemistry bottles and filled them with Doodlebug chunky glitter (I learnt my lesson from my last shaker card and didn't overfill them but maybe I should have placed a little more in them!! Need to find that happy medium!!
I used MFT scalloped edge dies to cut a stripe of red mirri just to separate the two different patterned papers and also MFT dies to make the connection tubes. I used the stamp saying "We have awesome chemistry"as a greeting inside the card.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the Prof. -
Skin - Usual
Jacket shaded with Blue Grey 1 & 2
Hair, Clipboard, Pants & shoes - Cool Greys
Jumper - Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy.
Tie - Black & Magenta
Shirt - Baby Pink & Cerise.
All from me for now -
Have a great day,

Little Treasures - ADU
Afternoon all - Have you seen there is a new challenge starting today at All Dressed Up blog?
As always it is an Anything Goes challenge as long as you use one of the gorgeous All Dressed Up Images. And the quality of the Design team inspiration is just fabulous! (And I'm not just saying that as I am one of them!!)
This month I have used an image called Little Treasure and it was made for all my work colleagues to sign to send to celebrate a new baby.
Firstly I covered a large base card with wood effect paper from DCWV - The Goodwood Stack. I also used a scalloped die edge from MFT to cut the panel from Tilda Flower garden spotty paper which I also used to paper piece the Teddy's top. I added some Wycinanka hearts a couple of this I filled with Diamond stickles. I tied some red twine around the base card and tied this in a bow and also glued this in place with a little wooden heart.
I die cut a banner and used Doodlebug letter stickers to spell out the new babies name and put some gems on the first and last flag. I also used gems to separate the number stickers which show her date of birth.
I also used Paper Smooches stamp to say "Congratulations" inside the card along with Lawn Fawn Harolds ABC stamps.
I used a MFT dienamics scalloped stitched edge, banner, inside / outside stitched square to cut the image which I coloured using Promarkers & Flexmarkers -
Bunny - Warm Greys
Teddy - Linen, Tan & Nutmeg
Feet & ears - Pink Mittens, Baby Pink & Cocktail pink
Blue grey - edges
I hope you like it - I love making cards like this that can be kept as a keep sake or framed for the Baby's room.
Back with you again soon to show you some more of the latest creations and hope to see lots of entries in the challenge,

You have Mail
Hello - have you had any happy mail lately? How many Valentines cards did you get? We don't "do" Valentines in our house... (Apparently I get treated like a Princess everyday??) But I do enjoy making Valentines card and there are so many great images at The Paper Shelter to chose from.
For the latest challenge #281 at The Paper Shelter the theme is Be My Valentine and I have used an image called You Have Mail.
Thanks for popping by and leaving some love at this Romantic time!
Liz (:(|)x
For the latest challenge #281 at The Paper Shelter the theme is Be My Valentine and I have used an image called You Have Mail.
I printed and coloured the image which I then die cut using MFT Inside outside stitched square die. I mounted this onto striped paper fromDoodlebug Stars & Stripes collection. I tied some Papermania twine around the edge and tied a bow which I secured with glue and a little wooden heart. I backed a Wycinanka envelope and hearts onto red heart paper from Taylored Expressions - formula for love pad and positioned this in the corner. I cut a Kaisercraft clear sticker greeting so I could place it better on the card and added a little red heart from Hobbycraft. Finally I stamped the little postage mark in the top corner.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral, Spice - Baby pink cheeks and Powder blue eyes,
Hair - Sandstone, Tan, Cinnamon & Henna
Post box - Red, Poppy, Ruby, Cardinal Red, Burgundy.
Inside box & shoes - Cool Grey 2,3,4 & 5

Will you be Mine?
Morning - It's so nearly Valentines day so I thought I would make a manly card that wasn't too lovely or slushy and Deep Sea Doug from Dr Digi was the ideal image.
Hubby and I had date night last night and went for dinner and cocktails until we were so full we could barely walk home!! It wasn't because it was nearly Valentines day but our first weekend off together for a while so we had it booked in for ages... Romantic hey??!
So how do you think I have done? Even though there is pink - it isn't too girlie! This paper from a 12 x 12 Reflections pad called Today, Tomorrow and Forever matched perfectly the colours I used on the image (Incidentally I got this pad from TK Maxx and its is identical to a My Minds Eye 6X6 Pad... ?) I die cut the anchors using a Lawn fawn die from silver mirri and a gold textured card and couldn't decide which one to use so I used both!! I punched a hole in them and tied some twine around them to dangle which I attached on the inside.
I die cut around the image with My favourite things wonky stitched rectangle die and mounted it on to black card. Finally I added a few co-ordinating sequins and some silver pen to add a little extra detail.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - usual
Helmet & hair - Cool greys
Words - Pastel pink, Antique pink & Red Sweater.
Suit - Sea Mist, Pastel green, Aquamarine & Soft Green
Mine - Dove Grey, Stone wash, Blue Lake & Hearthstone.
That's all from me for now - Hope you all have a love filled Valentines Day - how ever and whom ever you spend it with,

CAS Happy Hour Horace.
Morning - there is a new challenge starting today at I love Promarkers and the theme is Clean and Simple (CAS). The Sponsor is Dr Digi so I've used this image which just demands to be nowhere near frills or glitter called Happy Hour Horace. And let me tell you - I know a few men that would "celebrate" so miserably! We all know the type - that are only happy when they have something to moan about!!
So I have gone extreme with the CAS and muted colours. I printed the image off and then coloured it in with Promarkers. I cut the base card to the right size to go on a 6X6 card and then drew a frame free hand with a fine liner pen. I stamped the ironic greeting from Paper smooches Bold Buzz words stamps and added the black gems from Hobby craft. I covered the pint glass with glaze to make it shine.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour Horace -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Jacket & Hat - Pastel Beige, Khaki, & Soft Khaki.
Shirt - Warm Grey 1 & Linen
Tie - Cardinal Red & Burgundy
Drink - Sandstone, Saddle Brown, Walnut and covered with Powder Blue.
Umbrella - Sunflower & Turqouise.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Crafty Catz - ATG - Male cards
Crafts Galore Encore - ATG
I hope you like what I've done with Happy Hour Horace - there is lots more CAS inspiration over at the challenge blog so be lovely to see your entries and you could win some great images from Dr Digi

Valentine Bird.
Hello - We are back after a month off from New Releases with some amazing new images at All Dressed up. You can buy them all here -} All dressed up Etsy shop
I have used Little Birdie to make this Valentines card for a Colleague to give to his wife. I thought it worked perfectly with the Kraft card base.
I've used a Daffodil frame and heart from Wycinanka to frame the image and I filled some of the hearts and flowers with Hydrangea Liquid Pearls. This also helps stick them to the page. I am addicted to these chipboard and paper embellishments at the mo! As you can see you can also colour them with your promarkers or other mediums.
I tied some fine twine around the edge with a small bow and added a coloured heart - this also helps keeps the bow together in the right place. I then added the greeting using letters from Crate Paper Maggie Holmes collection "Shine" and also a little Happy Valentines sticker from Crate Paper Hello Love collection. Finally I added a few co-ordinating gems from Papermania.
I used only a few Promarkers to colour the image -
Bird - Tan, Cinnamon, & Chestnut.
Leaves - Forest Green & Marsh Green.
Hat & Scarf - Peony, Pink Lobster, Red Sweater & Maroon.
I also softed the edge of the entire image with Linen.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
I love how this turned out and I hope "the Wife" does too!
Don't forget All Dressed up Challenge blog on now and we will be back with a new Challenge on 15th Feb and you can join in with the Facebook challenge now which is Red and romance themed.
Enjoy

Special card for a special goodbye.
Hello - time to share a commissioned card. I love that I can make such personalised cards - This was for a teacher who was leaving. I was able to find the perfect image from Some Odd Girl called Little Loves - the Tobie version.(It is available with a little girl also.) I used a colour scheme to match the Nursery uniform colours and to colour the image to match the hair and add names. Where else can you get a card so specific unless you go to a crafter for handmade!?
The papers are all from Doodlebug - The multi-coloured stars are from Anchors Aweigh pad, the notepad is from Hello Sunshine and the blue ziz-zag from Kraft in Colour has been used to cut stars with a nestibilities die. The letters spelling out Gaynor and the small star sprinkles are also Doodlebug.
I also added a strip of yellow ribbon and a button which I tied a twine bow around. I stamped the top part of the greeting using Harolds ABC stamps from Lawn Fawn and then added some big Chalkboard letters from Jenni Bowlin. I think it ties it all together really nicely.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral, Spice and Baby Pink cheeks
Her Hair - Warm Greys
Her Top - Mulberry & Plum Preserve
Her trousers - Demin Blue, Polar Blue &Pastel Blue.
His hair - Burnt Sienna, Firewood, Cocoa & Walnut
His Top - Egyptian Blue, Royal Blue & Indigo Blue
His trousers - Cool Grey 2, 3, 4 & 5
I hope you like this card and the special person its made for does too!

2 Cool
Hello - Its time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme is Winter.
I found it difficult to do WINTER without slipping into Christmas, so I have used an image called Snowboarder Girl and gone with nontraditional colours of Bright Orange and Turquoise.
I have used papers and chipboard from My Minds Eye Colourful Christmas range. I mounted all the paper panels on co-ordinating panels of satin card and added some gems to the centre of the snowflakes.
I die cut around the image using a large stitched circle die from Lawn Fawn and over the top of this I used some Amy Tangerine Remarks letter stickers to spell out 2 Cool.
I coloured the image with these promarkers & flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice
Hair - Pink Mittens, Baby Pink, Cocktail Pink & Carmine.
Jacket - Gold, Orange, Bright Orange.
Trousers - Pastel Green, Oasis, Island Lagoon.
Boots - Powder Blue, Sky Blue, True Blue, Azure & Egyptian Blue.
And don't forget you get a fantasic prize if you are picked at ramdom when you enter your creations into The Paper Shelter Challenge !
Hope to see loads of entries!
Thanks for stopping by,
