Morning - Today's card is one I have made for my Mum's birthday using Dr Digi image called Salon Deirdrey. Mum asked for a voucher for the Hairdressers for her birthday so once again Dr Digi came to the rescue with this perfect image for me to create with. I am so grateful there are talented people out there to draw the pictures that I get to play with!!
I used paper from My Favourite Things Smitten pad and used a MFT puffy clouds die to cut the edges. I joined them together using acetate and them attached my image panel. The image was die cut with MFT inside outside stitched frame die and mounted onto silver mirri. I also used silver pen on the chair legs but you cna't really tell!!
I added a clear Happy Birthday sticker on some orange card and some Doodlebug letters to spell out Mum. I also used a white POSCA pen (Which I think is brilliant by the way!!) to add some details to the images. The rest of the image I coloured with my new copics... which I am in love with!!
Although I still used my promarkers for the skin... I still need more practice with the copics skin pens.
I used these copics -
Chairs - BG10, BG23, BG49
Cushion - B000, B23, B24, B28
Dress - RV10, RV21, RV14
Hairdryers - Y21, Y35, YR16
Dog & Deirdery's hair - E31, E35, E37
So it's not actually my Mums Birthday till tomorrow but we are going out for dinner today and so the card and gift voucher will be handed over later... hopefully she won't see this until then??!
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Allsorts - spots and stripes
Right - All from me for now. Have a lovely day,

Man about the house.
Hello - I hope you are all settled into 2018. We took our deccies down yesterday and the husband has cleaned the house from top to bottom today whilst I have been at work. He is very good at doing all that stuff which I am not so good at!!
But this card was made for the In Laws to give to there builder as a Thank You. They joked with him about the mess he made and that he brought dust with him to scatter around. I have used this Dr Digi image called Man About the House
I covered the base card with patterned paper from Papermania and the greeting is from Pebbles. I used die cuts to cut out the tools from silver mirri card. The speech bubble was from Ikea and I wish I had better handwritting to use !! And I coloured the image with Promarkers.
Ok thats all from me for now and hoping now life is back to normal I can get a bit more interactive and get entering some challenges again - so thanks for being patient with me while it was all a bit hectic!!
Thanks for stopping by,

Morning - So it is offically less than a month till Christmas so you will all be in the midst of making Christmas cards and pressies no doubt. This card is made using an image called Naughty or Nice?

I used paped from Lawn Fawn Perfectly plaid Christmas pad. I die cut the image using a My Favourite things Die and mounted it on kraft card. The little greeting tabs are sticker from Pink Fresh Oh Joy collection and I mounted these on gold mirri. I also used gold pen on the image and the wooden present to tie it all together. The die cut branches I have had for ages and can't remember where they were from. The little flower was from Hobbycraft.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual combo with baby pink cheeks and nose
Trousers - Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Powder blue shading on his shirt.
Boots - Cool greys and black
Braces - Raw Sienna
Cuffs - Linen & Tan
Hair & Beard - Cool grey 1 & 3
So hope you like what I did with Santa and I will see you all again soon,

Kindness is beautiful - All Dressed Up Challenge
Afternoon - I hope you are having a lovely Easter Bank Holiday! Today is also the start of a new challenge at All Dressed Up. I have used this beautiful image called Party Season.

I covered the band with paper from MFT watercolour wash brights and used a little gold mirri to edge the panel. I used gold pen on the girls belt, purse and top. I used Olympic Gold Cosmic shimmer pigment to colour the middle top and it really does shine like gold! I used a Woodware punch to make some leaves and added a resin flowers that I edged with Gold stickles. Finally I added a couple of puffy Gold Hearts from Freckled fawn.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Blue Greys 1 - 5
Buttercup, Pineapple Crush, Sleigh Bells and Raw Sienna.
Saffron, Cinnamon,Cocoa, Saddle Brown & Walnut
Baby Pink, Cocktail Pink, Pink Lobster & Red Sweater.

I used promarkers to colour the Make It Crafty die cut happy and glued the two layers together. I cut a section from a Happy Birthday clear sticker from Kaisercraft and added this to the ribbon.. Finally I added a row of gems across the top and a few scattered around the image.
I used these promarkers and Flexmarkers to colour the image -

Will you be Mine?
Morning - It's so nearly Valentines day so I thought I would make a manly card that wasn't too lovely or slushy and Deep Sea Doug from Dr Digi was the ideal image.
Hubby and I had date night last night and went for dinner and cocktails until we were so full we could barely walk home!! It wasn't because it was nearly Valentines day but our first weekend off together for a while so we had it booked in for ages... Romantic hey??!
So how do you think I have done? Even though there is pink - it isn't too girlie! This paper from a 12 x 12 Reflections pad called Today, Tomorrow and Forever matched perfectly the colours I used on the image (Incidentally I got this pad from TK Maxx and its is identical to a My Minds Eye 6X6 Pad... ?) I die cut the anchors using a Lawn fawn die from silver mirri and a gold textured card and couldn't decide which one to use so I used both!! I punched a hole in them and tied some twine around them to dangle which I attached on the inside.
I die cut around the image with My favourite things wonky stitched rectangle die and mounted it on to black card. Finally I added a few co-ordinating sequins and some silver pen to add a little extra detail.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - usual
Helmet & hair - Cool greys
Words - Pastel pink, Antique pink & Red Sweater.
Suit - Sea Mist, Pastel green, Aquamarine & Soft Green
Mine - Dove Grey, Stone wash, Blue Lake & Hearthstone.
That's all from me for now - Hope you all have a love filled Valentines Day - how ever and whom ever you spend it with,

Enchanted Christmas
Morning - The new weekly challenge is starting at The Paper Shelter and the theme is to make a Christmas Card. Now I know you will all be doing these so I am expecting lots of entries as they don't have to be a Paper Shelter image but you get better prizes if they are!!
I have used an image called Enchanted Christmas. I covered my card base with paper from Lawn Fawn Snowdays and matted this with Red mirri card which I also used to cut the scalloped circle using a Nestibilities die.
I added some Tilda ribbon and covered the bauble in the image with glaze pen which I then sprinkled with cosmic shimmer.
The chipboard bauble is from Scrapiniec and the hearts are from Wycinanka - I think these are my newest obession! I filled some of the shapes with Star dust stickles.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - usual.
Pink Mittens, Baby pink, Cocktail & Cerise
Lime Zest, Lime green & Pear Green
Lush Green, Emerald & Pine
Poppy, Ruby, Cardinal red & Burgundy
Powder blue & Blue grey 2 (With a little Cloud blue & Imperial Violet prisma colour pencils)
I used white pen on the spots on the wings.
I hope you like her - you will notice I have done her socks just like my Monkey emblem as these are just like the socks I made my first Monkey from.

Simple Santa on a Simple Sunday.
Hello - The theme for today is Simple... I have a little bit of a headache after being at a friends 40th Birthday party last night so everything I do today needs to be very simple and will be done very slowly!!!
The card I have made to show you today is using DR Digi image called Simple Santa. And I have kept the design very Clean and Simple too and even used a background paper and greeting from Simple Stories!! (It's like it did it on purpose!!) The range is called Claus & Co and it has lovely sparkle foiled elements - I really love it.
I used a friskars punch to make the boarded in red mirri card and mounted the greeting panel in the same. The Ribbon is from Hobbycraft. Other than that the card is very SIMPLE and with these lovely crisp images - I don't think they need much else. Oooo apart from a bit of diamond stickles on his fur trim!!
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual
Clothes - Red, Poppy, Ruby, Cardinal Red & Burgundy.
Sack - Pear green & Lime Zest with a Emerald & Grass green panel.
Boots and gloves - Cools greys
Used a little cool grey and powder blue to shade the beard also.
Right I'm off to get copious amount of tea ...
See you soon,

Sparkly Flamingo
OOPS I'm a bit late with this post... sorry and don't tell the bosses over at I love Promarkers!! Where the new challenge has gone live. The theme is No Patterened papers which I don't mind admitting was really hard for me! Thats really my thing - I have always wanted to create my own backgrounds with inks and stencils etc but just never seen to find the time. Plus I have such a huge stash of paper - 12x12 and 6x6 (But hush... Don't tell the other half I admitted that as I always NEED more!!)
So the challenge is sponsored by Digital Delights and I have used an image called Festive flamingo. Which just has to be pink!!
So the challenge is sponsored by Digital Delights and I have used an image called Festive flamingo. Which just has to be pink!!
I wish I could remember where the background die cut was from but I really can't and it doesn't say on it!! I coloured the bulbs and added some silver to make them shine. I glued this onto the sparkly Doodlebug glitter card and at the bottom some silver mirri to look like ice or a frozen lake. I mounted all this onto black card and then attached the fairy lights embellishment banner from Hobbycraft. I used the greeting from Kaiser craft and added some diamond stickles.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Hat - Poppy, Burgundy & Cardinal
Skates - Cool grey 3,4,& 5 -with black.
Beak - Canary & gold
Wing - Magenta & Mulberry
Bird - Rose Peach & Carmine
Powder blue shading and True blue, Emerald, canary & poppy lights.
Hope you like my sparkly pink flamingo.
See you soon, Liz (:(|)x

I added a few glittery silver stars from Doodlebug and two larger stars from Simple Stories.
I used Harolds ABC alphabet stamps from Lawn Fawn to spell out Baby's First Christmas and finally added some star dust stickles to the fur and bobble of the hat.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice with Cocktail pink cheeks.
Leaves - Forest green, Pine & Holly.

Hello - Its time for a new challenge at I love Promarkers. And this fortnights sponsor is Little Miss Muffett and I was lucky enough to pick one of the images for the DT and I chose Polka Dot Pals Rebecca. I just loved this little girl with the Parrot.
The paper is from a pad I got from The Range and the birds have a lovely glittery shimmer to them. The spotty paper is from a pad of Studio Calico called Print shop. The ribbon is from my stash and matched perfectly the mirri card that I used with the Happy Birthday die cut from Paper smooches. Finally I cut around the image and added a little resin bird in the top corner.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, coral, soft peach, Blush, & Spice with baby pink cheeks.
Hair - Primrose, lemon, canary & mustard.
cardigan - Pink Mittens & Baby pink
Trousers - Apple cider, apple, green shoots & Honeydew.
Shoes - Warm grey 1 & 5
Parrot - Trick or treat, carmine & magenta with Pear green, lime green, lime zest & Soft lime.
Beak - Walnut and warm grey
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges-
Cards in Envy - Wings
Craft-dee bowz - ATG Handmade Bow
Ellibelles - Critters or creature
Ohh La La - Ribbons & bows
Hope to see lots of you enter the challenge and looking forward to seeing what you make!

For your Wedding Day
Hello - Todays card is to show you one of the new digital image designs from All dressed up.
This image is called For your Wedding Day and you can buy the image by clicking on the link.
There are four new images in total - all on the wedding theme which is very apt for me and I have just finished making my Wedding invitations. Have a look at the All Dressed up Blog to see lots of inspiration.
For this card I coloured the image using promarkers and then die cut the image using a Spellbinders Nestibilities. I used the next size up to cut a mat from Gold mirri and mounted the image on it.
I used a similar shape base card and cut away the front half. I covered the remaining half with Crate paper called Kiss Kiss and edged this with gold foiled rose washi tape from Hobbycraft. The inside I covered with gold foiled spotty paper from My Minds Eye On trend 2. (I love this collection!)
Finally I used a white Wink of Stella brush pen over the shoes to make the shimmer gently but you can only really see this on the next photo!
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Outer shoe & leaves - Honeydew & Mint Green
Inner Shoe - March Hare.
Bow & Rose - Light Fawn, Soft peach, Peach & Rose Peach.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Thanks for stopping by... See you again soon,

Luxurious Fairy from The Paper Shelter.
Morning - There is a new challenge starting today over at The Paper Shelter and the theme is a real favourite that you all love... Fairies! And there are some fabulous fairy images to pick from like this one I've used called Exotic Enchantment.
I was asked to make this card for a friend at work to give his wife for there Wedding anniversary - which when we looked was celebrated with wood - hence the little wooden hearts from Studio Calico that I have used. I also die cut the letters from Balsa Wood - This took a few goes through my sizzix with letters from Die-namics to cut right though but it worked pretty well.
The background paper is from My Minds Eye On Trend 2 collection and is a lovely navy colour with gold foil. I used a corner rounder punch on the base layer. I used the greeting from the same collections 6x6 pad and mounted this on pink satin to make it stand out. I also used this to make the little flag in the top corner.
I used some Diamond stickles on the wings of the fairy and a little Gold pen on the hair clip. Finally I added a few gems and dots of stickles to look like she was sprinkling fairy dust.
I used these Promarkers and Flexmarkers to colour the image -
Hair - Buttercup, Pineapple Crush, Sleigh Bells & Raw Sienna.
Dress & Bow - Pink Mittens, Pink Carnation, Cerise, Magenta & Hot Pink.
Wings - Honeydew.

Bring the noise.
Morning All - I am hoping some of you may have arrived here via the first post from me on the Re-launched Dr Digi Facebook page (We have a challenge now and everything!!)
As you read this I will be in Chester as this weekend is my Hen do. We've stayed pretty local to be convenient to everyone but I have now idea what is planned for me but by the time this goes live - I will hopefully be in one piece and recovering!
For this weeks post I have used Dr Digi - Bring the Noise. It's such a fab image for those Old Rockers in your life!
I used My Minds Eye paper from Lime Twist range to cover a card base. I die cut the image and red mirri card using a My Favourite things die called Wonky stitched rectangle (Or something similar!?) I added another stripe of red mirri and attached to this grey letters from Doodlebug. I glued a Wooden guitar embellishment to the side and added a few Die cut music notes that are also from My Favourite Things. I used silver pen to give the metal parts of the image a shine.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Hair & T-shirt - Warm Greys
Jacket & Boots -Ice grey
Jeans - Powder blue & Polar Blue
Speakers - Cool Greys
Guitar - Poppy & Ruby
Edge - Soft Lime & Primrose.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
The Crafty Addicts - Cards for men
Crafty Girls Creation -ATG
Crafting By Design - ATG
Inspiration Destination - ATG
Crafty Hazelnuts patterned papers - ATG
Sparkles - Something for the males.
I really hope my schedule post on facebook has worked... Leave me a note if you pass by ...
