Hello - I am being very lapse with my own blog of late. I am busy with the pup and determined to get all my dt cards made and posted so my blog is the thing that gives sometimes. I am thinking about a revamp to be honest... but I would also like to set up a full website so I can sell some of my card stash!! It just depends on finding the time!
So here is my card from The Paper Shelter from the latest challenge with the theme Halloween. It was a really lovely image to colour and it called My Little She-devil Costume.
I kept the card quite simple and think the black stripes are quite striking with the red HUGS which is a die cut.
Hope you like it and are having a good weekend.

Fanks Drac
Morning all.
I am feeling fresh after my extra hours sleep and still buzzing from the exciting game of World Cup Rugby yesterday. England are in the final!! I am writing this whilst watching the other semi final of Wales v South Africa.
So my card today is using Drac's Dentures from Dr Digi. Now we don't really do Halloween but it is becoming such a massive event now and Dr Digi has loads of fab fun images but my point is - they are also really good for other celebrations. So I have used this image to make a Thank You card, but it could be a Get well card or a Older Birthday card.
I've coloured Drac with copics and teamed him with Doodlebug papers and letters to spell out the greeting. The bats are little peel offs and the black gem swirls are from Hobbycraft.
I hope you like my card for today and have a great weekend (Despite the rain!)
Fingers crossed for an even better weekend next time with the Rugby World Cup final!!!

My cards are still pretty CAS but I have been able to put paint on the walls of my new craft room so we are getting there. The last of the bricks and mortar is being built this week so that should be a big step!! to say I can't wait fir it all to be done is an understatement!!!
So all from me for now, Have a great day,

Wizarding times
Afternoon - Im a bit late posting today. We went to a 40th last night and so this morning I got up and went for a run. The weather was nice so I did a bit of gardening whilst I had chance. So they are my excuses!!
So on with the cards.... Todays post for Dr Digi is using Spells for beginners.
to celebrate Halloween (Although we don't actually do Halloween - when did it get to be such a massive thing here in the UK?)
All the papers are from Doodlebug boos and brews collection and I've used some nestibilities star dies and a star boarder die from Sunny Studio. I cut the image out using a My Favourite things double stitched dies and coloured the image with promarkers - I added some white and gold pen to the crystal ball to make it shine.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual
Hat and gown - Orchid, Wild Orchid & Aubergine.
Book & Staff - Sandstone, Cinnamon & cocoa
Beard - Warm Grey 2 - 5
Belt & Ball - Lime Zest, Lime Twist & Pear green
Well thats all from me ... its already dark so time to get cosy!!

Don't lose your Head!
As it is very nearly Halloween I have used a Dr Digi image called Headless.
I knew I wanted to colour this image but wasn't sure what to create to go with him as we don't really do Halloween - but then whilst hunting through my stash for inspiration I found this ribbon / twine - not really sure what to call it really! But it reminded me of whispy cobwebs and spooky haunted houses.
I have cut some Simple Stories Frankie and Friends paper and matted it on black and dark red base card. I actually went about this card a bit wonky as I found the twine and stuck this all over the base card before I had decided to add the washi tape (From Hobbycraft) and the peel off (From my stash!) So I had to do some jigging around and that whispy stuff got everywhere!!
I added the doodlebug letters using all different fonts which is a great way to use up all the spares! I also used a little gold pen to add the details of buttons and buckles.
I used these promarkers / flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Pants - Marsh Green & Pesto
Jacket - Poppy, Ruby, Cardinal Red, Crimson & Burgundy.
Collar - Linen & Sandstone
Shoes & hair - Warm Grey 1-5

Zelina's witches brew.
Hello - Just a quick post to catch up with the latest creations - This one is using The Paper Shelter image called Zelina.
There is a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter challenge blog and the theme is Halloween. So get your creations in for a chance to win some fab images!
To make this card I used a circular card base and covered it with the eye paper from Doodlebug Boos and Brews collection. I cut the flag panel from another piece of patterned paper from the same pad and mounted it on to black card. I die cut the image using a Lawn Fawn stitched circle and the greeting panel. I added some enamel dots and finally some spider peel off stickers.
I coloured the image using Promarkers and Flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique white, blush, soft peach, coral & spice.Baby Pink cheeks.
Clothes - Blue greys & Cool grey 5 for shading.
Broomstick - Sandstone & raw sienna - With orange, Bright orange & gold brush.
Hat - Lilac, Purple & Imperial purple
Hair - Grass, lime green & Soft Lime.
I don't make many Halloween cards as we don't really celebrate it as a holiday but I think this image is lovely and I enjoyed colouring her.

Made for Halloween
Morning All - I know officially Halloween was last night but as I
missed posting last week - I thought I would post my Scary creation
today... after all it was only a few hours ago!
This is an image called Made for each other from Dr Digi.
I've wanted to colour this image up for a bit and how great would it be on an Anniversary card or engagement card! Cos if I'm honest I don't really do Halloween - I prefer Bonfire night but I do like any excuse for a party!!
Apologies for not being around last weekend - I went to London to see my Uni girls. It was great to catch up and my friend lives right opposite a wall that has two Banksy's painted on it. They are brilliant and I am fascinated by the mystery that surrounds him. I love London... for a weekend... especially around Borough Market where she lives but its too busy for me. So I am happy to be home and normal service is resumed!!
The papers are all from Doodlebug and the spooky house is cut using my Silhouette. Its pretty cool how detailed it can do. I used some silver pen to colour the monsters bolts and screws and also added some glaze to her lips, nails and hair.
The image is coloured using these Promarkers & Flexmarkers -
Monster - Aniseed, Lime Zest, Lime Green & Pear green.
Suit - Cool greys
Top - Honeycomb, Orange & Bright Orange.
Dress - Lavender, Purple, Purple Velvet, Imperial Purple.
Skin - Blue Grey 1, 2 & 4
Hair - Cool greys & Solstice blue.
Nails & lips - Poppy
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Crafts 4 eternity - Orange, black & purple
Thats crafty - Halloween
Creative Knockouts - Halloween
Right troops - hope you've not eaten too many treats and have a good day,
