Cassies retirement

Morning - I was asked to make a retirement card for a Friend from work who was leaving after 30 years service. I got a bit nervous as this would go round our entire building and so also needed to be big!! I found some A4 blanks with glittery frames but that takes a big image to fill so I decided to use several images and none were more perfect than Stamping Bella to reflect all the things Cassie will be able to do in her free time now she no longer has to come to work.

I used Uptown Girls - Opal the optimist, Pippa loves to plant and Chelsea and Lauren love Sushi
but there were so many I could have used - it was a really hard choice!!
I'm sorry the picture is a little dark... damn  these winter nights! Natural light photography is so much better... bring on spring now please!

Anyway I'm glad I can now share this with you. Luckily she loved the card and all the gifts and we had a fabulous night out to celebrate.

Thanks for stopping by,

Get Well Soon

Morning everyone - I'm back today with a card using Dr Digi image called Recuperating Rita

There has been so many bugs and germs going round recently so I figured I'd make this card ready for the next vicitim!! Luckily I have managed to avoid any illness ... so far at least!

I figured she would definitely be a shabby chic Kind of girl who has upcycled her bed and cabinet to go with her lovely floral Laura Ashley-esq wall paper. I'm sure its a very cosy room to recuperate in.
The greeting actually stands out a little better than this picture shows and I used Doodlebug letters to spell it out.

I hope your are all in good health and continue to be so!!

She is charming in Blue

Morning - the new challenge starting today at The paper shelter challenge blog has a Shades of Blue theme and I have used this gorgeous image called She is Charming
I have coloured with Blue quite a lot recently and definitely find a combo I like and stick with it - I need to be more adventurous but I love how this made the folds in her dress look really deep.

You can get this image from the shop and have a look at all the other fab images here  - The Paper shelter

Have a great day,

Rita - queen of speed .... downhill!

Hello - I was working yesterday so didn't get chance to post this on here but this is Rita  from Dr Digi. I figure that I will put a greeting on it when I decided who I'm giving it too... I think something like "Downhill is more fun anyway" "Queen of speed... downhill" or "Not over the hill yet but its a steep climb". I like to personalise when I know who the recipient it with names or dates of birth.

I hope you like our Rita - I reckon shes having a blast on her mobility scooter.
Speak soon,

Brunhilde will always love you

Morning - its very windy here today but the trainers will be getting an outing as I didn't leave the house yesterday... we had a work night out on Friday so felt a little delicate !!!
I did however manage to do some colouring which included the beautiful Brunhilde from Dr Digi .
So the calendar dictates that Valentines day is next so I made it that Brunhilde was singing to her true love!

So I hope you have had or are having a more productive weekend than I have had so far.... today I am going to be super efficient... honestly! Ha yeah right!!!

New Year - new You-nicorn

Hello - Its time for a new challenge to start at The Paper Shelter and the theme is New Beginnings - this can be interpreted in so many ways... so I thought - "It's a new year and we all promise to be new better people right?" So what resolutions did you make? I always say I will take more care of myself... like moisturising and cleansing! But ultimately we just end up being ourselves and what more should we be! Unless we can be Unicorns!!

So I have used paper from a new pad I got in the Sales and the image I used from The Paper Shelter is called Glittery and Sparkling.
I really love how this card turned out with the pink and gold. Hope you like it too and will join in with the new challenge.

Gnome sweet Gnome

So today is my last post with the Fabulous I love promarkers design team - this is for no other reason than I now use Copic pens more than the Promarkers. The team is wonderful and the challenge is great fun! I am really sorry to leave this team and will miss it massively!

So my final creation brings it all full circle really as my first post was also sponsored by Dr Digi as this current one is. The theme is  Something new and I have used paper from a new pad that I got in sales. (I have been pretty good at restricting my spending!!)
I have used an image from Dr Digi called Gnome sweet Gnome

I hope you like the card and you will keep playing along at I love Promarkers - it truely does deserve to be followed and joined.
Thanks to all the team for supporting and encouraging my creativity.

Bath time Bernie and health regimes

Morning -This is my first post of 2019 so - "Happy New Year"
So today we have taken all the christmas decs down and put them away, the house has been cleaned and is pretty much habitable in all areas (Still decorating to do in the porch and stairs but got leave something to do or we'd get bored right??) and I've been for a run.

And I've been on the scales! ARGH!! So my new regime of trying to exercise and eat healthy kicks in... (Well when all the christmas chocolate has been finished off.... can't throw it away!!) And I always promise Ill do little things like body brush and moisturize daily but honestly... who has the time!! And I'd rather be colouring!! So here is Bath Time Bernie from Dr Digi - he's got his brush ready to exfoliate!!

So now its time to get into a routine and build good habits in daily.... I reckon it will last till Tuesday!!
Have a great Sunday,
Liz (:(|)x
