The power of Deirdery
Morning All - well I have made this card to summons the sun... like a metaphorical rain dance in reverse!!
So lets all draw on the spirit of Deirdery's Day Off and colour her to bring back the sun for just a couple more days ... On the plus side - we don't need to water the veg patch! And I can't say the grey sky has stopped me indulging in a glass or two of cold cocktails!!
Have you seen our competion... Our Dr Digi is celebrating its 5th birthday and all you need to do is create a birthday card. So add your card to the pinned post at the top of the facebook page and win some fab prizes!!!! Can't wait to see them!
So quick card recipe for you -
Papers - Doodlebug clouds, Carta Bella Beacj days for the sea and My Favourite things Watercolor Wash Brights. I used a My Favourite Things scalloped stitched basic edge dies to cut the waves and a Sizzix die to cut the palm tree from scraps of paper. The letter stickers are from Hobbycraft and i used a white pen to add the dots to her swimsuit. I also used glaze on the jug and glass.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour Deirdery -
Skin - Usual
Umbrella - Cocktail pink. Carmine and Magenta.
Swim Suit - Lime Zest, Lime Green and pear grean
Hair - Buttercup, Pineapple crush, Mustard and Sleigh bells.
Towel - Oasis and Turquoise.
Juice - Lemon and Gold
Powder blue to shade the sun lounger.
Well all for me for now -
Have a good day... Liz (:(|)x

Sarah's Wedding
Evening - Im goosed today... not sure why really?!? Maybe Hayfever tablets - honestly we get some nice weather and it ruins me!!
So this card I made for the New Challenge which has just started over at the All Dressed Up challenge Blog and I have used the image called To Have and too hold. This image is available from the Etsy shop - All Dressed Up Stamps
I made this card for my lovely friend at work who is currently sunning herself with her new husband on her Honeymoon.
The background paper with gold flags is from American Crafts which I mounted onto Green satin base card. I made a panel using paper from My Minds eye called Fancy That. The wooden flags are from Scrapiniec Chipboard and I used the wooden hearts from Wycinanka and I filled these with Diamond stickles glue which I also used to add some sparkle on the wedding dress. The gold letters are from American Thickers Dear Lizzy. Finally I added the ribbon around the base card and tied it in a nice knot rather than a bow.
I used these promarkers & Flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Dress & Waistcoat - Pastel green & Honeydew with Peach and Rose Peach.
Suit - Warm greys
Hair - Pineapple Crush, Buttercup & Sleigh Bells. Sandstone, Cinnamon & Raw Sienna.
Well thats all from me... I might hit the sack!!
Hope everyone is well,
Liz (:(|)x

First Place Phil.
Evening -
Firstly I don't know where this whole week has gone!! I've worked 7 days and lost track of days so I'm very late with this card! But I am getting ready for Fathers Day next weekend. (Luckily my Dad doesn't do Blogs or Facebook so I'm safe posting... )
This is First Place Phil from Dr Digi and the sentiment is from the Fathers sentiment sheet.
There is also currently a discount code available for you to stock up on Mens images until 18TH JULY - See the link below...
This card uses background paper from My Minds Eye Miss Caroline - Dilly & Dally collection. The star is from a pack I bought at Hobbycraft donkeys years ago (So long it was no longer sticky!!) The arrows are from Doodlebug sprinkles. I used Glaze on the helmet to make it shiny!
I only used a few promarkers -
Skin - Usual
Suit - Poppy Ruby & Burgundy
Gold, Canary & Lemon
Ice Grey 1,3 & 5
Hope you like Phil - Sure Dad will as its in the Ferrari Red colour which he calls the works team... (He used to work for the group that owns them...! No sadly we never had a Ferrari... Although I do blame him for my fast driving and my sporty Alfa... )
Right all - I have two days off... lots to do and some miles to clock up running. Also hoping to get some new running trainers... I get a little too excited about this thought!
See you soon,

Sweet Succuents
Afternoon -
Have you seen the stunning new images at All Dressed Up?? You can see the full release here on the Challenge blog. I have been able to colour this one called Flower Pots and it is just lovely!! I have a really thing for Succulents at the mo and we even had them in our wedding flowers and for the Men's button holes!
The paper is from Basic Grey and called Terrarium. I mounted this in to pale pink and brown bazzill card. I tied a strip of green thin ribbon and a bow across the top. I also added some pale coloured lace across the bottom. I added some co-ordinated resin flowers and the copper foiled wording from Do Crafts. I used a My Favourite things square die to cut the image and I added liquid pearls around the scalloped of the base card and also on the plants. (White Opal, Avocado, Peacock, Mint Green & Petal Pink)
And in a shocking turn.... I did not use Promarkers!!! I used Zig Clean colour brush pens...
I did use promarkers to colour her skin but them used these Zig pens -
Beige, Mustard, Pale Oatmeal, Mid Brown & Oatmeal - Hat
Gray & Light Gray - Shading
Pale Pink. Light Pink & Light Carmine - Dress & Flowers
Light Blue -background
Turquoise Green, Yellow Green, Mid Green, Emerald Green, Green, Light Green & Pale Green (Ha! So many greens!!!)

Let's Party
Morning - Here to show you my latest post at Dr Digi using Vic the Viking.
I actually did a Chicken & egg thing with this card as I got the image to go with the papers which are from Doodlebug and called Dragontails. I love the blues & greens with the orange - right up my bright street!
As you know I have been a little quiter than usual lately due to being busy at work helping to deal with the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Manchester so it is really sad to be typing this post with another incident being reported on the news in London Bridge which has more fatalities and injured.
The world is certainly a crazy and confused place right now.
Seems a little glib to say this but Crafting is my switch off button... I get completely caught up in my colouring and creating that I thing about little else. I can forget about a crappy day at work or any worries for a few hours.
All of the papers used are from Doodlebug DragonTails. The image and Ship panel are die cut using My Favourite things Inside Outside square stitch die. I then cut the little flags by hand and cut out the greeting strip from one of the patterned papers. Finally I added some matte enamel dots also from Doodlebug and used Silver pen to add some metallic detail.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual
Boots & Belt - Ice greys 1-5
Bag - Oasis & Turquoise
Trousers & Helmet - Lime Zest, Lime Green & Pear Green
Beard & Hair - Gold, Bright Orange & Orange
Top - Sky Blue, True Blue, Royal Blue & Egyptian Blue.
Shield & axe - Sandstone, Cinnamon & Raw Sienna.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
That's all from me for now,
Stay Safe,
