This is a card I made using Stamping Bella Uptown Girl called Savannah has a star.
I covered a base card with the wood effect paper from My Minds Eye collection called Necessities. The top patterned paper is from Simple Stories collection called Claus & co. I used red mirri card to cover the join between the two which I cut using some fancy edge scissors. I added red glitter letters from Hobby craft to spell out "to my wife". I used some gold edge ribbon from Crafty ribbon (Which I got using a voucher I won on a challenge!) and made a little bow. I used some old school peel offs which I coloured red with my Promarkers and places them inside the die cut silver card star, which I attached to the end of the ribbon. I used gold pen on the strings of beads and silver on the star. I also used some glaze on the champagne glass and on the baubles to make them shine.
I used these promarkers and Flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Tree - Aniseed, Lime Green, Pear & Moss
Hair - Sandstone, Cinnamon, Cocoa & Henna
Baubles - Red, Poppy & Burgandy
Drink - Vanilla & Buttercup.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Melonheadz friends - Christmas
All for now - still a few Christmas cards to post but I might do a bumper "all the other cards at once" post ... Hope you are still having a lovely holiday and not too worn out!

Darcey's first Christmas.
I made this card for a friends little girl who was born in May. She is at a great age and will love her first Christmas with all the sparkle and lights.
The image is so cute and from Mo's Digital pencil called Beary Merry Christmas.
I wanted to keep the colours quite simple and so I teamed the image with a piece of paper from an Echo park collection called Keepin Cozy. I hand cut a wavy edge and mounted it onto red bazzill and simply followed the edge. I used a Lawn Fawn die cut for the Christmas and the other letters are from Doodlebug. I added a few clear gems from Papermania and a little star dust stickles on the fluff of the hat. (I've just noticed I haven't coloured the Bears Bow??! - How did I miss that?)
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach & Coral with Baby pink.
Clothes & hat - Poppy, Ruby & Cardinal red - touch of powder blue for shading.
Hair - Walnut
Bear - Warm greys with baby pink ears and pads.

I'm really pleased with how this has turned out. Its not a traditional christmas card but I like the modern feel of it. The base card is covered with paper from Websters Pages - All that Glitters collection. I die cut the image using a Nestabilities die and also the teal paper from Doodlebug Frosty friends collection. I also used the Lawn Fawn die to cut the greeting from blue mirri card which I co-ordinated with the blue ribbon. I spelt out the names with American Crafts Thickers called Sunny. I used a little Star dust stickles to make the snow glitter. I coloured the base of the snow dome with a silver pen.

Stars Wars is every where are the moment - so I thought I'd share this card with you all! This image and greeting is from Whimsy Doodles and is called Obi Wan to Kiss.

I die cut a Spellbinders Nestibilities scalloped circle and then used a My favourite things die cut to make the holes. I used a corner punch to round the corners of the greeting and glued this one with a little red heart gem. I also used some Marianne Design dies to cut the Mistletoe from Green satin card and added some pearls for the berries.
To colour Obi Wan I used these Promarkers and flexmarkers -

Northern Lights Polar Bear
Morning - Today's card I have made using an image from Tiddly Inks called Winterlight Wishes.
I have made a card similar to this recently with this Bo Bunny background paper which reminded me of the Northern Lights so was perfect for this image!
The card is a pre-cut Filigree base from Docrafts called the 12 Days of Christmas. I glued the Bo bunny background paper behind base. I attached the coloured image to the base and glue some co-ordinated ribbon across the bottom. I used peel off letters to spell out Mummy and a peel off boarder to shape around the centre which says Merry Christmas. I added loads of bling using gems in the middle of the snowflakes and stickles around the Polar bear to shimmer like Ice.
I used these promarkers and Flexmarkers to colour the image -
Bear - Frozen Lake & Pastel Blue
Skin - Coral, Soft peach, Blush, Antique white & Baby Pink.
Hair & Fox- Raw Sienna & Chestnut with white pen tips.
Hat - Pale Citrus, Lime Zest & Lime green
Coat - Blue Pearl & Bluebell
Boots - Aquamarine & Oasis.

Vintage Christmas - Holy Night
Todays new challenge over at I love Promarkers is Vintage / retro Christmas and the sponsor is The Paper Shelter. I have used an image called Holy Night.
This card is actually pretty simple. I covered the card base with Bo Bunny winter paper which has a lovely shimmer and glitter to the snowflakes. I used a Die cut snowflake boarder which I put some coordinating dark purple ribbon from American Crafts behind it. I also fixed a Craftworks card greeting into the die cut and used Crystal Stickers Glitter domes in the middle of the snowflakes and spread around to add some detail. I also used a silver pen and some diamond stickles to add detail to the clothing.
I used these Promarkers & flexmarkers to colour this image -
Skin - Spice, Coral, Soft Peach, Blush, Antique white & Baby Pink.
Hair - Satin, Terracotta, Burnt Sienna & Walnut.
Underjacket - Winter berry, Sugar plum & slate.
Top - Heather, Amethyst & Plum Preserve.

Happy Christmas Little Star.
This is another image from All dressed up Stamps which you can buy on Etsy. This one is called Happy Christmas Little Star. I've made this card especially for my Goddaughter Lucy.
The background paper is from Websters pages collection called All that Glitters. I used letters from Doodlebug to add her name. I cut out the star and mounted it onto Gold Mirri and then attached it to the card with 3d foam to look like it was dangling on the end of the ribbon. I also made a small ribbon bow from ribbon I got from The Crafty Ribbon shop (I got a voucher for being picked as a winner on a card challenge!) I used gold pen to add detail to the presents and her little hair clips along with some Star Dust Stickles on her skirt and wings.
I used these promarkers & Flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice with Baby Pink cheeks.
Hair - Satin, Terracotta, Burnt Sienna & Walnut.
Top - Bluebell & Blue pearl
Skirt - Pink Lobster, Rose Pink & Pink mittens.

We Three Kings.
Morning everyone. It's my turn to showcase another image from Dr Digi and today I have used We three Kings. This is such a fun image to colour and use on a card. You don't tend to get Carol singers anymore which is a bit of a shame as its such a Christmas tradition and I love a good sing somg.
I kept with the musicial theme and used various themed papers - all from an old pad of American Crafts. I used a tag die to cut the snowflake paper which I had stamped with the saying from KaiserCraft. I used some green ribbon from my stash to attach to the tag.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Spice, Coral, Soft Peach, Blush & Antique white. Baby Pink cheeks.
Books, Bear hat & deer stalker hat - Raw Sienna & Cocoa.
Cardinal red, Ruby & Poppy
Rock Pool & Denim blue
Pine & Emerald green.
Sorry its a quick post but I have soooo much to do... and I've still not made the family cards!!
Hope your all well and have a great day.

The sponsor this week is Dr Digi. I have used a fab and cheeky image called I'm Dreaming of a Wide Christmas.
The sponsor this week is Dr Digi. I have used a fab and cheeky image called I'm Dreaming of a Wide Christmas.
The chalkboard saying is cut from a panel of paper by Simple Stories December Documented collection. I mounted it onto Red & Gold Mirri to frame it. I used Silicon glue to stick it to the background paper as often other glues won't stick on top of glittered card stock. The gold glittery background is from Kaisercraft and is called "All that Glitters."
I used gold pen and gold stickles on the image so it all co-ordinated together. I used Marianne Mistletoe Dies which I used to cut out some lovely satin green card and used Papermania White gems for the Mistletoe berries. Finally I used a little glaze on her glasses and a little star dust stickles on the fluff of her hat.
I used these promarkers & Flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, blush, soft peach, coral & Spice.
Basques & Hat - Poppy, Ruby & Cardinal Red.

I loved colouring up this image from All dressed up called Little Skater. Think I am slightly obsessed with these images at the minute!!

I die cut the image using my Friskars circle cutter and mounted it on to silver Mirri card. I used some star dust stickles to make her skirt and the ground shimmer a little, along with some gems stuck into the middle of the snowflakes. Finally I added a round Craftwork Cards Christmas greeting and a small Snowflake which was die cut from the silver mirri card using a die from My Favourite things
I used these Promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the Little Skater -
Ear Muffs & Skirt - Blue pearl & Bluebell
Scarf - Aquamarine & Oasis

Peg leg Pete
Morning - I thought I'd have a break from the christmas creations just before December kicks in and the festive period takes hold. So I have used Peg leg Pete to make something a bit different.
I do love Christmas but it seems to start earlier and earlier every year... I refuse to put my decorations up until December starts but then don't want to take them down as everywhere looks so bare afterwards.
So I am taking a stand and Peg Leg Pete is my little bit of rebellion against the early Christmas... He is such a fab image and so full of character. I purposefully added a general greeting so I can use this card for any occasion.
I used anchor paper from Project life Becky Higgins collection called Baby Boy. All the other papers are from Doodlebug. The red zizzag and wood effect are both from the Kraft in colour collection. I used lime swiss dot to cut the banner using the Die-namics die. I stuck the letters from Hobbycraft on to spell out "Ahoy" and attached this to the card using 3d foam.
The compass in the right is a stamp from Stampendous Changito Pirates collections and I coloured it with a gold pen, some star dust stickles and a red gem in the centre. I also used stickles on the cuffs and collar of Petes shirt, along with gold and silver pen to add some metallic detail.
To colour Peg Leg Pete I used these promarkers & flexmarkers -
Skin - Spice, Coral, Soft Peach, Blush, Antique White.
Jacket - Polar Blue, Capri blue & Midnight blue.
Hat & Trousers - Cool Grey 1 - 5
Casket - Caramel & Raw Sienna
Boot & Leg - Caramel, Raw Sienna & Saddle brown.
Shoulders & parrot - Poppy, Ruby & Cardinal red.
Parrot - True Blue & Sky Blue, Lime zest & Lime Green.

My Minds eye papers from the I believe collection, which is already glazed and glittered, was mounted onto Kraft card. I glued red ric rac ribbon at all the joining points. Once i had coloured the image - I used Spellbinders Nestabilities to cut the image and a mount from red bazzill bling and kraft. I put some gold stars and clear gems on to the tree and also some red gems at the top & bottom. I made the skirt and wings sparkle by adding some Diamond stickles over the top of the coloured image. Finally - I coloured a Happy Christmas peel off with Soft Green promarker to match the papers.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Spice, Coral, Soft Peach, Blush, Antique white & baby pink cheeks.
Hair - Satin, Terracotta, Burnt Sienna, Walnut & Raw Sienna.
Tree - Pale Citrus & Pear Green.
Star - Vanilla & Raw Sienna.

New Home
Today is the new challenge from I Love Promarkers and the theme is New Home. The sponsor is Stitchy
Bear Digital Stamps and I have used an image called mushroom
town
To make this card I took a card and folder the top in half to make it a mountain fold. I printed and coloured the image and then die cut it with a scalloped Nestibility. I trimmed the bottom section and tied a ribbon around the base and knotted this through a tag. I used Peel offs to put the greeting on the tag and added a few red gems to match the dots on the Mushrooms.
I used gnome paper from Pebbles and mounted this in red card bazzill card. I used a die-namics die to cut some grass and then my Silhoutte to cut a Mushroom shape. I added this to the card with 3D foam so it sat above a little and held the fold in place. Finally I added some stickles to the tops of the Mushrooms and in the holes of the die cut.
To colour the image I used promarkers & flexmarkers -
Top of Toadstool - Red, poppy, Ruby & Cardinal
Bottom of Toadstool - March Hare & Tawny Owl.
Doors - Raw sienns, Henna & Cocoa
Sky & Windows - Powder blue
Grass - Grass, Emerald & Honeydew.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Ribbon Girl - use any image
Allsorts - Use 3 dies

Santa Selfie
Morning All - Sorry I'm a little later than usual posting this
morning but its because I'm using this "Hot of the pencil" image....
Called Santa Selfie from Dr Digi. This will be available very soon to buy -so watch
the website!
I actually added loads of glitter but not sure you can see it very well in this photo... glitter for snow is compulsory in my opinion. I saw this image and had to have it - Its traditional christmas with the very modern phenomenon that is the Selfie!! I have so many friends that this image is perfect for.
We had our Girls night out on Friday and headed to the Christmas markets in Chester - It really got me in the Festive spirit - as did the Gluhwein!! I love Christmas but when is it appropriate to put up the decorations... It has to be December at least for me but there is a fully decorated tree in a neighbouring house.
To make this card I used striped paper from Doodlebug Santa Express collection. I also cut a strip of green paper with a deckle edge blade from Simple Stories December Documented collection. I trimmed the image down to a thin stripe and glue it altogether, whilst wrapping some Snowflake ribbon around the top. This is a great layout for using up scraps. I added a Craftworks card Christmas greeting and also some Doodlebug letters to spell out "Santa Selfie". My finishing touches to the image were Diamond Stickles to the snowman and Star dust stickles to Santa's beard. I added a little glaze to the phone and used some black gems to make the Coal on the Snowman's face pop out a bit more.
I used these Promarkers and flexmarkers -
Santas skin - Spice, Coral, Soft Peach, Blush & Antique white with Baby pink cheeks & nose
Hair & Beard - Warm grey 1 & 2. Powder blue eyes.
Shirt - Shadowed with Icicle
Pants - Poppy, Ruby & Cardinal Red
Boots & Braces & Snowmans Hat - Warm grey 5, 4 & 3
Snowman - Blue Grey 1 & 2 & Powder blue.
Scarf - Poppy & Cardinal, Grass & Emerald.
Carrot - Bright Orange & Gold
Stick arm - Raw sienna & Cocoa.
So i'll witter no on more and let you see this fab new image!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges -
My Time to craft -Let it snow
Jingle Bells - Left overs.
Winter Wonderland - 1-2-3
Creative Knockouts - NO square cards
The Sisterhood - Its beginning to look a lot like christmas
Enjoy folks

All dressed up GDT
Morning - Today I can post this card that I have made using All Dressed Up image called All Dressed up for Christmas.
I am honoured to be asked to be a Guest Design team member for these beautiful images, which you can purchase on Etsy (Just click on the link above.)
The base pattern paper is from Websters Pages All that Glitters collection. I used gold mirri card to cut the Merry Christmas greeting using a Lawn Fawn die cut and glued it to some co-ordinating ribbon. I also used the gold card to mount the image - both of which I cut using the Friskars cutter. I cut the banner from Dear Lizzy Foiled vellum - I actually put white behind this so the pattern of the base card didn't show through. Once I had coloured the tree, I used petal pink Liquid Pearls on the baubles and Gold Pen on the ribbon and stars. Finally I added Diamond stickles to the wings and skirt to make them sparkle and some Gold peel off corners.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Spice, Coral, Soft Peach, Blush & Antique White.
Hair - Satin, Terracotta, Burnt Sienna, Walnut & Raw Sienna.
Skirt & Present - Pale pink, Baby pink & Cocktail Pink.
Tree, Wings & Present - Honeydew & Pastel Green.

Retiring Professor.
Morning! For todays card I have used this image called Professor Dummkopf from Dr Digi. I love this image and he has so many uses...
I made this card on specific request from my other half - his friend and colleague was retiring. And he picked this image to use on the card that I made for all the team to sign. They are all forensic science geeks so Prof D was perfect. (I can call them that because Geek is chic these days!)
I've used paper from Heidi Swapp collection called No Limits. I mounted the panel from this pad onto black and then green glitter card. I cut a die-namics banner and the word "happy" from black card. I then added green letters from Doodlebug to spell out retirement. I added some green gems and the letters to spell out the name. Finally I used some glaze on his glasses and boots to make them shine.
I coloured Professor Dummkopf using these Promarkers / flexmarkers -
Skin - Spice, Coral, Soft Peach, Blush & Antique white.
Clothing - April Shower & Powder blue, Cardinal red, and Khaki shirt.
Hair & tousers - Cool grey 1 - 5.
Drs Coat - Shadowed with Blue Grey.
Boots & Glove - Lime Zest, Lime Green & Pear Green.
Clipboard - Cinnamon, Caramel, Sandstone & Raw Sienna.

Sweet treats with love
I kept this card clean and simple - I made the image the feature by printing it quite big. I tied a big bow from Doodlebug ribbon to match the image's bow. I mounted the image on to patterned paper from Heidi Swapp - Favourite things collection. I added some doodlebug sequins and crystal gems to add a bit of sparkle and a greeting using a Peel off.
I used these promarkers -
Ice grey 1 & 2 to Shade the bag
Honeydew & Pastel Green
Pale Pink, Baby Pink & Carmine
Soft Lime
Aquamarine.
I also used a Staedtler 0.3mm fine liner pen in pink to add the writing on the love hearts and also to draw a boarder edge to the card.
I'd Like to enter this card into the following challenges -
The Ribbon Girl - ATG
Cupcake Inspirations - Photo Inspiration
Allsorts challenge - Ribbon & bows.
Lacy Sunshine - TicTacToe.
Cute Card Thursday - Food & Drink.

Remembrance Sunday with Corporal Clegg.
Good Morning - Today is Remembrance Sunday so I have made today's card using Corporal Clegg.
from Dr Digi.
I am really interested in my family history and have done a huge family tree. I found one relative who was in a prisoner of war camp and died two days before liberation - So sad! I managed to find where his war grave is in Belgium and was able to have his story remembered by the Royal British legion campaign to commemorate every fallen solider. It really is an amazing and interesting site and really quite easy to find any relatives they may have been involved in the Wars. I hope every generation continues to remember and be thankful for the sacrifices made by these Soldiers.
I really wanted to use the poppy paper but mixed it with the wood effect to create some harsh contrast to the pretty flowers - I guess that's part of the symbolism of the Poppy in War.
The poppy paper is from Prima "The Optimist" range and the wood is from My Minds Eye - Necessities collection - Wood.
I thought the zig zag card fold worked well as it allowed the different papers to be seen. I added a small paper poppy flower that I bought from The Ribbon Girl. Finally added "lest we forget" using little letter stickers from Webster Pages. I also added Glaze to the buttons, Cane and Gloves.
I used these promarkers / Flexmarkers to colour Corporal Clegg -
Shoes / Belt / Moustache - Black & Cool greys.
Uniform - Pastel beige, Pesto, Olive, Herb Green, Earth Yellow.
Shirt and tie - Khaki.
Hat - Burgandy, Cardinal red, Ruby & Poppy.
Skin- Usual combo of Antique White, Spice, Coral, Soft Peach & Blush.
Gloves - Nutmeg, Cocoa & Saddle Brown.
Gold buttons etc - Gold, Canary & Buttercup.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Didigi designs - TICTACTOE (2W) Ive gone diagonal.
Crafting with friends - ATG (2W)
Creative fingers - ATG (W)
Paper take weekly - ATG
Crafty Cardmakers - Thankyou (w)
See all you all soon - Im planning on a productive crafty few days coming up.... ummm we will see how that pans out!

Made for Halloween
Morning All - I know officially Halloween was last night but as I
missed posting last week - I thought I would post my Scary creation
today... after all it was only a few hours ago!
This is an image called Made for each other from Dr Digi.
I've wanted to colour this image up for a bit and how great would it be on an Anniversary card or engagement card! Cos if I'm honest I don't really do Halloween - I prefer Bonfire night but I do like any excuse for a party!!
Apologies for not being around last weekend - I went to London to see my Uni girls. It was great to catch up and my friend lives right opposite a wall that has two Banksy's painted on it. They are brilliant and I am fascinated by the mystery that surrounds him. I love London... for a weekend... especially around Borough Market where she lives but its too busy for me. So I am happy to be home and normal service is resumed!!
The papers are all from Doodlebug and the spooky house is cut using my Silhouette. Its pretty cool how detailed it can do. I used some silver pen to colour the monsters bolts and screws and also added some glaze to her lips, nails and hair.
The image is coloured using these Promarkers & Flexmarkers -
Monster - Aniseed, Lime Zest, Lime Green & Pear green.
Suit - Cool greys
Top - Honeycomb, Orange & Bright Orange.
Dress - Lavender, Purple, Purple Velvet, Imperial Purple.
Skin - Blue Grey 1, 2 & 4
Hair - Cool greys & Solstice blue.
Nails & lips - Poppy
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Crafts 4 eternity - Orange, black & purple
Thats crafty - Halloween
Creative Knockouts - Halloween
Right troops - hope you've not eaten too many treats and have a good day,

Ruby wedding anniversary (That's 40 years!!)
Now here's a card you won't have seen from me for a while .... a card without any colouring using promarkers! Most of my creations contain images now so this one is a break from the norm.
I made this card for the soon to be In-laws who are celebrating there 40th Wedding anniversary. The 40th is Ruby so I used lots of red to make the flowers from a die cut. I also used the die cuts to make some leaves from paper from Pink Petticoat wood grain pattern. The background paper is from Mambi and has a lovely subtle sheen to the pattern. I mounted the panel onto red bazzill card and then onto the Kraft card base. I attached a strip of the wide ribbon and some red gem swirls from Hobbycraft.
I cut the red bazzill to make a red flag and I used the number dies to cut out the 4 0. I added the green wood grain paper behind to make them pop out. The letters spelling out YEARS are from Websters pages and the "Congratulations" is a sticker from KaiserCraft.
Brown sugar - flowers.
Fussy & fancy friday - Flowers.
Polkadoodles - Sparkle, Bling & glitter.
Use your stuff - Die cuts.
All for now for the impromtu drop in!
See you back here on Sunday.

Circles and Christmas
Its a new challenge today over at I Love Promarkers and the theme is Circles - So many ways this can be interpreted, just as long as you use Promarkers or flexmarkers.
The image is a new stamp from Stamping Bella and is called Ramona shares her Hot Chocolate.
I used an embossing folder to create the circle background and mounted it on red. I used my Friskars cutter to cut a circle from red card and also around the stamped image - leaving a space to cut around Ramona's hat.
I glued a section of Tilda ribbon to the base and to stop the cut edges from fraying - I used some Glue to seal the ends. I added a little Diamond stickles Glue on to Ramona's ear muff's, scarf and also the marshmallows. I also added some Diamond stickles to the ground to look like frost.
The Merry Christmas greeting is a sticker from Kaisercraft - I love the simplicity of it.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Jacket & seat - Poppy, ruby & Cardinal red
Scarf & earmuffs -Blossom, Baby pink & cerise.
Trousers & hat - Gold, halloween & Bright orange.

Penguin, table & seat -Cool greys

Time for tea.
Morning all - Its TIME for another challenge - in fact is Challenge #291Time at I Love Promarkers.
I used this lovely image from Tiddly inks image called Alice - time for tea.
It was nice to make a bright and summery card amidst all the black of Halloween creations and Autumnal colours of brown and orange.
To make this card I used a Spellbinders nestibilities to die cut a frame from mirri card. The background paper is from Echo Park Country Drive range. I added a small blue bow which i tied from my stash of ribbon and looped a little yellow twine around the middle. The greeting - which you can't really read very well on the picture, says "TIME FOR CAKE" and is from a pack of Dovecraft toppers called Cupcake boutique. I added a white paper flower and glued a yellow resin flower in the middle to mirror the pattern on the paper. The two smalled blue flowers are buttons which I glued a yellow homemade enamel dot into the middle of.
I used these Promarkers and Flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft peach, Coral & Spice.
Hair - Buttercup, pineapple crush, Canary, Sleigh bells & Raw Sienna.
Dress - Cloud blue, Colbalt blue & China Blue.
I also used Ice grey 1 & 2 along with some silver pen and glaze on the clock face.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Polkadoodles - Use a die cut (w)
Digi Chooseday - Birthday (W)
Doodle Panty - ATG (M)
Craftyhazelnus Pattern Paper - ATG (M)
All for now blog chums.

Christmas Chris & his Onesie.
Morning - I'm making an effort to get ahead with my Christmas cards and this one uses Christmas Chris from Dr Digi.
I've
gone pretty traditional with the colours of red & green. The paper
reminded me of Christmas jumpers and given Chris' fabulous Reindeer
onesie - I thought I'd go with the Christmas clothing theme. So come on
be honest... who has a Christmas Onesie or jumper?? I will admit I have a
Bunny rabbit onesie!! We have a tradition of going to the pub Christmas
eve and then coming home to eat cheese & wine wearing our
onesies...I can just picture Chris sat with us eating his Pudding! Or even better I could get my other half a Reindeer Onesie to wear ... (Ha think he may kill me!!)
This card was really simple to make. I coloured the image but added a little extra detail using glaze on the pudding and his nose. I also used some frosted lace stickles on his antlers to give them a bit of texture and a silver pen to colour the spoon so it shines. I die cut the frame using a Spellbinders nestibilities from the Websters pages paper collection called Cuddle Up and laid this over the image using 3d foam.
The greeting is made up of stickers from Doodlebug and I added a 3 co-ordinating green homemade enamel dots. Finally I added the felt Holly leaves which I bought from Hobbycraft.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft peach, coral & spice. Powder blue eyes.
Nose - Poppy, Ruby & Cardinal red.
Onesie - Cinnamon, Cocoa, Burnt sienna & Henna
Belly & antlers - Light Fawn, Tan & Saffron
Touch of Cocktail pink on ears & cheeks
Hooves - Warm Grey 4, 3 & 1
Pudding - Cinnamon, Walnut, Aubergine & Burgundy.
Holly - Forest & Lush Green.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Hope you like Chris and don't mind me posting Christmas cards... its not far off now though you know!!
See you in the week,

Spells for beginners.
Morning All, its Wednesday so its time for a new challenge over at I Love Promarkers.
This weeks theme is ANYTHING GOES so no excuses not to play along and even better you could win some Dr Digi images - which you all know I love!
The image I've used is called Spells for Beginners. I was inspired to use the Kraft and gold from the Tag You're it challenge and, somewhat unusually for me, I have used quite muted and pastel tones.
The Gold velum is from Allison Kreft and both the Dotty and striped papers in the pale pink and grey are from My Minds Eye Chalk Studio. I used a sizzix tag die to cut both the papers and then used a diamante brad to hold the Green chevron ribbon in place.
I have used a rub on greeting to say Happy Birthday which is from Pebbles. The other touches of gold are a thin washi tape which I bought from Hobbycraft.
To add a little bit more detail - I put some glaze on the ball at the top of his staff which I then sprinkled with Cosmic shimmer to make it glisten. I also used a little gold pen to add shine to his spell book.
I used these promarkers & Flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Beard - Warm Greys
Eyes - Frozen Lake
Book & Ball - Aniseed, Lime Zest & Pear Green
Belt & Hat detail - Cerise, Baby pink & Antique Pink.
Cloak & Staff - Tan, March Hare & Raw Sienna
I'd like to enter this card into these challenges -
Tag You're it - Inspiration (2w)
A gem of a challenge - spots & stripes. (2w)
Crazy 4 Challenges - Costumes (M)
Disdigidesign - To cute to spook (2w)
Hope you like my Wizard and don't forget to get your creations entered into the challenge!

Sofa so good...
Morning - blimey It's Sunday again already and here is my latest creation using Dr Digi image called Sofa So Good.
I love this image - so many times I've come home to find our dog in this exact position on the sofa... although he's not quite this big to take up the whole chair! I know my Dad will appreciate this card as the dog has always got the best seat in the house, to the extent that when I was a kid I got the floor if the dog had already claimed his spot on the Sofa!! Spoilt creature! It certainly is a dogs life in our houses...
To make this card I used an Anitas round card blank. I used a circle cutter to the background paper which is from KI Memories - Colour theory collection (Possibly one of the oldest sheets of paper I own - reckon I've had it at least 8 years! Hoarder!!) The ribbon is also from my stash!
I glued the ribbon on top of the patterned paper and trimmed it to fit. I put some PVA glue on the edges to stop it fraying. The coloured image I stuck on top with 3d foam. The greeting is from my peel off stash and the Scribble tile letters I got from Hobbycraft. I added some frosted lace stickles to the stuffing coming from the sofa and also some glaze on the split tea and the dogs tongue.
Finally I added a few doodlebug sequins in shades of brown.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers -
Dog - Light Fawn, Nutmeg, Saddle Brown, Cocoa. Warm grey 5 for his paws.
Sofa - Tea green, Pastel blue, Carpi blue & Twilight sky.
Tongue - Carmine & Dusky pink
I edged the whole image with warm grey 1.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Suzy Bees bloomin challenge - Something beginning with S (W)
Chocolate, coffee & cards - Animals (2w)
Crafty cardmarkers - Circular cards. (2w)
Stamp & Create - Brown (m)
Anyway - we won't talk about rugby today... the win last night did little to redeem them! Question is who should I know support??
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and I'll be back soon

Running t-shirt
There is a new challenge starting over at I Love Promarkers and this week the challenge is to make something which IS NOT a card but still using Promarkers to add the colour.
Sometime ago I was signed up (i.e. by someone else ... not me...) to do a 10k obstacle endurance race. I had planned to make us "team" t-shirts and bought a couple of plain white cheap t-shirts from Tesco (2 for £7 - Bargain and they seem pretty good quality too!) Luckily as the race got nearer... we got the news it had been cancelled. Obviously I was gutted - honestly!!
So when this challenge came up I decided it was time to make the t-shirt. The image I decided to use is called Jogger Mae from Some Odd Girl. I picked her as she looks a little like me...
I do run, well I Jog, a few times a week so I will be able to wear the top when I go out but I swear I have never worn shorts as short as Mae.
Step 1 - I used Heat transfer paper that I bought from Amazon. It was really simple to do. I printed the image onto the special paper and then cut really close around the edge of the image.
Step 2 - is to iron the image on to the T-shirt. To do this - you have to use a really hot iron with no steam at all. So I turned the iron on and left it to dry all the water away. I put a cotton tea towel between the image and iron just to make sure I didn't burn it. It took a while for the image to transfer and I just had to keep trying a little corner to check. But if it hadn't - I simply kept ironing.
Step 3 - Once it had cooled down I peeled the paper away and then went about colouring the image with Promarkers.
I did try to colour an image prior to ironing on to the t-shirt but the ink removed the transfer material.
Once the Image was on the fabric - the transfer material creates the barrier that stops the alcohol markers from bleeding into the cotton. The ink doesn't blend as well as on paper so I didn't use as many different colours to shade the image. The ink also went a bit tacky and took a little longer to dry than on paper.
I coloured Mae in the same colour pro/flexmarkers that I wear... yep my Trainers are Pink & Orange!
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft peach & Coral
Hair - Chestnut, Walnut, Cinnamon, Cocoa & Raw Sienna.
Pink bits on Top and trainers - Carmine, Magenta & Hot Pink
Orange bits - Halloween, Bright orange & Orange.
I'd like to enter this creation into the following challenges -
Not just Cards challenge
I hope you like this idea - Take a look a the other creations on at the challenge. Just makes you think of all the other ways Promarkers can be used.
See you soon,
