Where there's tea - there's hope.

Morning all -  aren't these popular little Digi's with the Design team this week! This is Tea Cup & Teapot.  The sentiment is from the Tea time sentiment sheet.

Don't know about you but I cannot function without a brew first thing in the morning. I drink loads of cups of tea every day but Tea does fix most things! I love nothing more than dunking some chocolate into my cuppa so it melts a little. There is no better combination than tea and chocolate in my world anyway!

For me there are two key questions in life ..... Tea or Coffee? And Dogs or cats? Its the first option for me in both these questions... You disagree and I'm afraid you are wrong! (I do actually drink black coffee but only when I have a hangover... oops!)

This card was really simple to make - I just printed the digi's on to the patterned paper and then cut them out and decoupaged them a little to make them appear a bit more 3D. I also added a some shading using a warm grey Promarker.
The all the papers are from Panduro Tilda collection called Summer Blues and I picked them as the blue reminded my of my Nan's old china tea set.  I also added a gem swirl to look like the steam from the brew. Finally I attached some ribbon and a big pink resin flower in the corner.

Enough of my whittering... Im actually writing this waiting for the Rugby match to start... COME ON ENGLAND!! Im in work first thing Sunday so I have scheduled this post in advance. So its Tea all the way for me this evening ... But hopefully I will still be celebrating our win (Said with everything crossed)

All for now - its about the kick off...
Take care,
Liz (:(|)x

  1. oh tea and dogs for me....no contest!
I saw a tea 'saying' once - 'a cup of tea never made anything worse'! So true!
Anyway Liz, your card is gorgeous, really pretty design and of course, I love the sentiment.
