All Dressed Up Copic Challenge July 2019

It is the 1st July! It will soon be Christmas... (EEK -Should I have started making Christmas Cards??) So it does mean that there is a new challenge over at Copic UK and this months optional theme is to use An All Dressed Up Image... This is to celebrate the new Rubber stamps that have been released and are available from Crafteezee but these fabulous images are also available from the All Dressed Up Stamps store on Etsy (And there are also some freebies on the the All Dressed Up blog... #enabler!)

Of course the theme is always an optional extra and we love to see any creation using copics so with all these mediums covered there really is no excuse to not join in for your chance to win a prize from our Faye.

I have played with this rubber stamp called Time to Shine.
I used vellum over the base card and a star die cut with pink satin card. I covered the glass with glaze and sprinkled a little cosmic shimmer to give it a little sparkle.
I also made this card with the new rubber stamps and haven't shown this card yet. This image is called What to wear.
I used a greeting from Pebbles and added a couple of red gems to copy the gold dots. I also added some red ribbon.

Right that's all for now. I hope you get to join in the Copic challenge or the All dressed up blog challenge which is always an Anything goes theme as long as you use an All Dressed Up image.

Denim City Girls

Hello -

Its the 15TH so... not only does that mean its PAYDAY!! but it is also the start of a new challenge at All Dressed Up. I coloured up this image called City Girls.
I coloured the image with copics and cut a frame using a Lawn Fawn die from Demin fabric - I glued this first to card to give it more sturidness (is that a word??) and help stop it fraying. The die cut through the fabric really well!  So much I decided to cut a flower also to match the flower in the girls hair and added a little red button and some red ribbon. Demin is just so practical on a city break!!

Be lovely to see you join our challenge - only rule is you have to use an All Dressed Up image and they are gorgeous you will be spoilt for choice!!!

See you all soon -I'm off out for a run whilst the weather is nice and dry.
Have a great evening and week,

Show your Wings

Good Morning -  The new challenge at The paper shelter challenge blog  has begun and the theme is Things with Wings. I think I must interpret the themes a bit literally but I had wanted an excuse to colour this image for a while so I went for it over the Fairies and Butterflies! This image is called
Lady with Wings
and I've teamed it up with a stamped greeting from The Paper Shelter. I die cut the image using a Lawn Fawn circular die and the paper is from My Favourite Things.

I know this is a fairly simple card but I really love how its turned out and it was fun to colour with the copics. It doesn't show to well on this card but I added a pale cloud background using the copic and blender pen so it was quite subtle.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will all join the challenge for a chance to win a voucher to spend on these fab images!!

Fun in the Sun

Morning - there is a new and slightly longer challenge beginning today at The Paper Shelter as we are having a couple of weeks off to enjoy the Summer and this amazing weather we are having. (Although I can do without the hose pipe ban and the fires on the moors)

My card today used a new image called Having Fun in the Sun and she is just too cool!!  So she has funky blue hair and so super sunglasses!

I coloured her with COPICS and the paper and sticker are from Echo Park Summer Days collection with a little lolly ice (or is it an ice lolly??) charm tied to some thin blue ribbon.

Thanks for popping by and I hope you will find some time to join the challenge at the Paper shelter blog - you can win a cracking prize!

Golden Wedding Anniversary - ADU

Hello -  We have a new challenge starting today at All Dressed Up and as always its an Anything Goes theme as long as you use an ADU image.
Now I have used this image called Happy 50TH to make an Anniversary card for my Parents as it was there Golden wedding anniversary on the 8TH June. To celebrate they hired a house in the Peak District for a week and we all went along for a few nights. We did lots of walking and eating and we were really lucky as the weather was lovely the whole time so we were able to get the dogs tired out!

I mounted the image onto Gold card and used a Sharpie to  colour the greeting. I coloured the flowers with copics and added some gold gems. I also coloured some peels off gold to add the wedding anniversary.

This next photo shows the dimension with the Butterflies a bit better. The butterflies are from the poundshop and I added a little gold pen detail.

I hope you will all join in the new challenge and share your All Dressed Up creations.

Girlie Winterlight Wynn

Hello - I'm back again today to share my second creation for the Tiddly Inks 2:3 Challenge.
This one is for the second theme of Girlie Girl and what could be more girlie that pink, shimmer and gems. It is quite rare for me to do muted tones but I really love the natural and soft look of this using the filigree card base from Papermania. This image from Tiddly Inks is called Winterlight Wishes

I've included a closer picture so you can see the lovely shimmer on the polar bear which I got using a Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen and a little stickles. The ribbon and wooden embellisment are for Hobby craft. The pink background paper is from Pink Fresh Oh Joy collection which I think is my favourite so for Christmas papers.

I coloured the image using promarkers - A little powder blue on the polar bear and Blossom and baby pink on Wynn's clothes. I used warm greys on her hair and the fox.

Just look at this amazing prize... how much fun I could have spending this!!! FINGERS CROSSED!
All for now and Ill be back tomorrow with my last card for the 2:3 challenge.
