Warm Hands Warm Heart

Hello -
We have just started a brand new challenge at All Dressed Up blog. I have created this card using an image called Warm Hands Warm Heart. There seems to be a lot of people going through testing times at the moment with family and health problems so this card goes to all them to send them love and hugs. It certainly puts my little strops about how long our rennovations are taking into perspective!
I might add some embellishments to this card ... when I find them! Its seems a bit empty down the bottom so Ill attach another photo if I do.

Right - I'm off for a run before it gets too cold!

Spring time

Good Morning - Its a new challenge starting today at The Paper Shelter - The theme is Spring time and I have used an image called cute bike.
I've raided my paper stash and found the spotty paper which matched her shirt. I don't know where I got it from though... (Im trying to be good and use up my massive stash!!) The red paper is from Echo Park...
I added some ribbon and the greeting from Pebbles in the co-ordinating Turqouise. As a final touch I added the spotty buttons and matching resin flowers.

I've used these copics to colour the image -
Top - B23, B24, B28
Tyres - C3, C5 & C7
Bike - R17, R29, R27, B59
Trousers - BG15, BG23, BG49
Basket - E37
Hair - E35, E33 & Y21
I also used a little silver pen to add some metallic details.

Right well - thats all from me for today so Im looking forward to seeing your entries into the challenge!

Ted and his Shed

Morning - I've been doing some colouring with my Copics and Ted and his shed from Dr Digi allowed me to have a right good play with texture and colour blends.

I kept the card pretty simple as there is lots to see in the image so i covered the base card with garden patterned paper from Pebbles Jen Hadfield Simple life collection.
I used some wood grain kraft card to make a frame using a My favourite things stitched rectangle scalloped frame die and used 3d foam squares to attach this. I used a MFT's stamp set called Sweet Succulents to stamp a pot and coloured this with copics. I used scraps of green paper to make the leaves in the pot using a MFT fab foliage die. I added some natural twine across the top and knotted on a little spade charm.

I used promarkers for the skin as I am comfy with the blends I use and I need to practice this with teh copics but overall I love the nibs of my new pens!
For the shed I used - E31, E35, E37 & E29
Pots - E33, E08 & E11
Barrel - E29 & E37
Jumper - YR31 & YR23
Glass & sky - B000
Waistcoat - B93, B95 & B92
Roof - C01 - C07
Wellies - YG63, BG96 & G85
Leaves -  YG11 & YG23

I found lots of lovely combos to use in future and love the way this card and image turned out!
Thanks for stopping in...
