Butterfly Kisses.

Afternoon - today is the start of a new challenge at All Dressed Up. For my DT card this month I have used this gorgeous image called Butterfly kisses (Just click on the name to buy in the Etsy shop.) This challenge runs for a month and you can enter with anything made using an All Dressed Up Image for a chance to win some lovely images of your choice!

I have used paper from First Edition Paradise Crush- the butterflies are on one side and the spots the other. I used a lawn Fawn die cut a circle from the front and then added some acetate between the care blank and patterned paper. I used the spare stripe of paper to attach the Lawn Fawn die cut Happy birthday sentiment which was cut from gold card. I punched some big butterflies using a woodware punch from gold and orange glitter card from Doodlebug. Finally I added some teal gems from Papermania on to the butterfly.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image-
Skin - as always!
Hair - Pineapple crush, Mustard, Sleigh Bells & Raw Sienna.
Coat - Powder blue
Bag - Tropical orchid & Trick or treat.
Hat & Scarf - Pastel green, Oasis & Island Lagoon.

I hope you like her - I have actually already sent her to my Sister in law for her birthday as she loves Butterflies.
Thanks for looking,

Happy 40th - happy hour.

Morning - its a new challenge at I Love Promarkers. The theme this week is Anything Goes and the sponsor is Kenny K.  I have used an image from Kenny K called Happy Hour.
I actually have a couple of friends turning 40 very soon so I grabbed this image
and set to work!
I covered the card base with a section of this lovely shimmery Budgie paper and the other half with the reverse cream shimmer card  from a First edition collection called Paradise crush. I die cut the happy birthday from pink satin card and added the wooden numbers. I covered them with Star dust stickles and added some highlights to her dress.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice with baby pink cheeks.
Hair -  Satin, Terracotta, Burnt sienna & Walnut.
Dress - Buttercup, Lemon, Halloween
Bow & drink - Cerise, Magenta & Maroon.
Eyes & glass - Powder blue.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Scrap - creations - Birthday
Lemon Shortbread - ATG
Shopping our stash - birds
Crafting from the heart - ATG
Crafty Cardmakers - Birthdays.
The Paper Nest Dolls - ATG

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see loads of entries into the ATG challenge! After all what could be easier - Don't be shy!!
