Bundles of Joy
Morning -
This time next week is Mothers Day here in ol'Blighty so I though I would do a lovely traditional image of a Mum from Dr Digi! She really is a classy lady this one but I'm sure there are many out there who would find this image hilarious. And even funnier... It is called Bundles of joy! I think many Mums will relate to the situation even if they don't quite have this look going on!!
The image is called Bundles of Joy and I have used a My Favourite things die to cut around her. The image is colored with Copics and the base card is covered in paper from Lawn Fawn. I drew the wobbly lines around the edges with a fine line marker. The greeting is stamped and stuck above a die cut gold star with 3D foam.
I hope you like this card and it makes you chuckle as it did me!

Hello -
Thought I would share a card I made recently to share as inspiration on the COPIC UK facebook page monthky challenge. I'm helping out a little with the challenge so you should all pop over and share your copic colouring here - } March Challenge.
and I have teamed it up with Lawn Fawn paper that I used a My Favourite things scalloped die to cut the edge. The stamped greeting is from Paper Smooches and I finally added so little enamel dots.
I hope you like it - I certainly enjoyed all the copic colours I got to play with and pleased with the Purple combo on her dress!

Naughty or nice List?
Morning - So it is offically less than a month till Christmas so you will all be in the midst of making Christmas cards and pressies no doubt. This card is made using an image called Naughty or Nice?
I think I am probably somewhere in between - Too cheeky to be nice but more mischievous than naughty!!
I used paped from Lawn Fawn Perfectly plaid Christmas pad. I die cut the image using a My Favourite things Die and mounted it on kraft card. The little greeting tabs are sticker from Pink Fresh Oh Joy collection and I mounted these on gold mirri. I also used gold pen on the image and the wooden present to tie it all together. The die cut branches I have had for ages and can't remember where they were from. The little flower was from Hobbycraft.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual combo with baby pink cheeks and nose
Trousers - Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Powder blue shading on his shirt.
Boots - Cool greys and black
Braces - Raw Sienna
Cuffs - Linen & Tan
Hair & Beard - Cool grey 1 & 3
So hope you like what I did with Santa and I will see you all again soon,

Food is love!
Morning -
Today is the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme is Love is in the Air. I have used this fab image called Trattoria Chef.
I definately love food!!! And get a great deal of enjoyment from eating. In fact my day is probably planned around meals and what the next thing to eat will be!!
I kept the card fairly simple and the image as the key focus. I coloured him in with promarkers an fussy cut around him. I die cut a large heart using a Spellbinders Nestibilites from My Favourite Things Paper pad Hearts and Stripes collection. I added some ribbon from my stash and three striped Card Candi dots from Craftworks cards.
The greeting was stamped using letters from Lawn Fawn alphabet called Harold's ABC. Finally I added Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen over the grey fork to make it look metallic.
I coloured the image with these promarkers & Flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Apron - Red, Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Hair & Fork - Cool Greys
Spaghetti - Saffron & Sandstone.
Meatball - Pine, Saddle Brown & Burnt Umber.
Sauce - Firebrick & Poppy.
Powder blue on the whites to shade
Hope you like this card and agree with me that the way to the heart is definitely through the stomach!!

Big Hugs & Naps
Evening - Todays new challenge at The Paper Shelter is to use a fancy fold. This was quite a challenge for me as I don't do these very often. I have used a twisted easel card and my image from the paper shelter is called The Best Nap ever

I used a Lawn Fawn big scripty word to die cut Big Hugs from gold mirri and also white card and I glued several of these together to form a stopper for the Easel. The patterned papers are from My Minds Eye - Miss Caroline. I used a little diamond stickles on the hat and added a little wooden elephant (Which I think was Kaisercraft?) Finally I added some Craftwork cards candy dots.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, soft peach, blush, coral, spice.
Hair - Tawny Owl, Grey Squirrel, Morning Mist.

Nan's birthday - Mesmerising Scent.
Good Morning - There is a new challenge this morning over at I love promarkers and the theme is Flowers and Nature.
I have used an image from The Paper Shelter called - Mesmerizing scent. And I actually used this image to make Nan's birthday card.

I also added some detail using a thin piece of gold diamond washi tape from Hobbycraft.
I die cut the image with a Lawn Fawn stitched frame and mounted this on gold mirri and tied some ribbon around it in a bow. I added a Craftworks cards greeting and a Petaloo butterfly. Finally I added the gold letters from ... to spell out Nan and a heart.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers -
Leaves - Honeydew & Mint
Butterfly & bottle top - Primrose, Buttercup, Pineapple Crush, Sleigh Bells.
Shading - Warm Grey 1 & 3

Over the moon with All Dressed Up.
Hello - It's time for the first Challenge over at All Dressed Up since the rejigging of the Blog. You can use any image to enter this challenge - with only one rule... IT MUST BE AN ALL DRESSED UP IMAGE. This isn't hard as there are so many beautiful image on the etsy page here...
But on the blog there are also some freebies - so there are no excuses for not joining in!!
My DT card is using an image called Over The Moon.
I actually made this card as it was a Cousins wedding and I just thought it lent itself perfectly for lots of gold and sparkle and so I could use my new paper from My Minds Eye called Yes Please.
I cut a panel of the paper and mounted it onto Black card. I die cut the image using a Nestibilities die and cut another also from the black.
I tied a ribbon across the top and tied this in a bow. I used Lawn Fawn big scripty words die to cut about six Congrats from black card and one from gold. I glued all these together - putting the gold one on top. I am really pleased with how it has come out! Finally I added a gold heart from Freckled Fawn. I coloured the moon using Cosmic Shimmer watercolours in Olympic gold but I tried to keep them quite thick rather than too wet. I also used a little gold pen to add detail to his outfit and some diamond stickles on her dress and Veil.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Hair - Burgundy, Henna & Chestnut.
Dress - Powder blue, Satin & Linen
Flowers - Soft Green, Violet & Lilac
His Clothes - Warm greys 1 to 5
I love the way this has turned out! I love all things shimmery and gold!!

Gorgeous Real Girl
Morning - Here is a post about a card that I made to sell in the Flipside cakery at Abersoch. I thought this image was perfect... food and bikini for the cake and beach location!
She is called Real Girl and unfortunately no longer available as the fab Saturated Canary have shut the shop in preference for a subscription. But I was lucky enough to buy lots before it closed.
The background paper is from Carta Bella Beach Day collection and I
teamed it with matching bazzill card to die cut the squares using Lawn
Fawn Inside outside stitched square frame. I also tied co-ordinating
twine from We Are Memory Keepers and attached a Wooden embellishment
like a flag which I used Doodlebug Rubs ons to spell out Gorgeous.
Finally I add three little red hearts from Hobbycraft.

Perfect Day - at All Dressed Up!
Evening all - Just got home from work so updating this post with some very exciting news to make this ace Friday (All Fridays are ace if I have the weekend off!) an even better day - some may say Perfect Day.
The All Dressed Up challenge teams - facebook and blog are after some more Design Team members! Its a great team and a brilliant oppourtunity for you cards markers out there to get your hands on these beautiful images before they are released. To see the full details just click on the banner below and follow the link... AND for every comment left on the challenge blog post you will be entered into a chance to win 3 image of your choice - for doing nothing at all really!!!
To celebrate this I have used an image called Perfect Day which you can get from the Etsy shop by just clicking on the title.
I used a Lawn Fawn die to cut a frame to look like a polaroid and cut some black card to look like picture holders. The greeting banner is from Websters pages Beautiful chic collection and was a last minute addition but I think it works well as the colours and sentiment are perefect. The flowers are from Prima and the sequins from Teresa Collins. Finally I added a few gems here and there!
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image-
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral, Spice and Baby Pink cheeks.
Hair - Buttercup, Pineapple crush and Sleigh bells.
Buildings - Soft peach, Orchid & Dove Grey.
Water - Dove Grey & Honeydew.
Bike - Frosted Jade & Turquoise.
Sky - Powder Blue.
Skirt - Baby pink & carmine.
Boats - Tan & Cocoa.
Flowers - Carmine, Orchid & grass.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Edna loves Ice Cream
Hello - My post to day is one of those rare "just for fun" cards. Don't get me wrong I love making any cards, stroking my paper collection and colouring the images is my favourite way of passing a day! But ... often my cards are determined or at least guided by a challenge theme or a DT creation. This is a very good thing for me as otherwise I do get overwhelmed by my ever growing stash of crafty goodness so please don't think I am complaining - I am definitely not. Some guidance of a colour scheme or a layout is always helpful in getting the creative juices flowing!
This stamping company - Stamping Bella are one of my (Many!?!) weaknesses - so it was a pleasure to create this card just because I could! I had the new image to play with and time to play. She is called Edna loved Ice Cream.
I used these fab shaped based cards from Create and Craft TV and cut panel from the Crate Paper Hello Love. I mounted this on to My Favourite Things paper Dots & Stripes Sorbet collection (Another favourite... anyone else buy two of the same pads just to make sure you have enough??) and to make the most of it I die cut the circle from the middle of the panel using a Lawn Fawn stitched circle die. I also used a Nestibilities die to cut the scalloped circle from the same paper collection and added to this a Craftworks card Happy Birthday greeting.
I glued a thin pink ribbon across the top and made a little hand tied bow - below which I added three yellow doodlebug enamel dots. Finally I added some diamond stickles onto the coloured image to make her wings sparkle.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice with Baby Pink cheeks.
Top, shoes & cherry - Red, Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy.
Hair & Ice Cream - Primrose, Buttercup, Pineapple Crush & Sleigh Bells.
Skirt & Sauce - Pink Mittens, Baby Pink & Carmine.
Cream - Powder blue shading.
Glass - Aquamarine - Blended and layered
I hope you like Edna and my card. I can't wait to colour her again for more creations.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Deep ocean challenge - Things with wings.
Passion for Promarkers - Make us smile
Disdigidesigns - Things with wings
Polkadoodles - Anything beginning with F - Fairy & food!
Thanks for popping by - don't forget to leave a little message and say Hello

She is adorable.
Morning all
Its a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter and the theme is "BACK TO SCHOOL." I have used an image called She is adorable.
I used paper from Echo Park - Teachers pet collection and layered these in the base card. I then used Lawn Fawn stitched hillside board and stitched edge board on the white base. I coloured the image and then cut around her before sticking her onto the card with 3d foam. I used some glaze on her glasses and alphabet stamps to spell out the greeting. Finally I added some colour co-ordinating enamel dots.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image-
Skin - Antique white, blush, soft peach, coral, Spice with Antique pink lips and Baby pink cheeks.
Shoes - Red, Ruby & Burgundy.
Skirt - Warm grey 5 to 2.
Top - Honeydew & Pastel green.
Hair - Buttercup, Pineapple Crush, Mustard & Sleigh Bells.
Jumper - Tan & Satin.
Bag - Dove grey & Reef blue.

And don't forget you can win an amazing $30 credit to buy loads of stunning images!
