It's a Hard Day's Knight with St George.

Morning - hands up who actually knew it was St Georges Day? Honestly ... ok it was on my calendar when I was planning my cards as I have had to be quite organized, as the Husband & I have been down in London for a few days and we went to see a friend who is a Yeoman in the Tower of London. We got a private group tour of the Tower after it had closed and were priviledge to see 800 year old Ceremony of the Keys.  So this image called Hard Day's Knight just seemed to be ideal! I am feeling all Patriotic!

I don't often put none crafty photos on my blog but think these are worth sharing... Hope you don't mind!

Also shameless plug but its for Charity.... Andy Merry - The Yeoman has recently been diagnosed with MS. Andy was in the Marines before he moved to The Tower of London so has set himself the challenge on climbing Mount Blanc to raise money for the MS society and The Royal Marines Charity. Here is the link  to the website Mount Blanc for MS and the charity fundraising page
MtBlancforMS  if anyone wanted to read more.

We had a fantastic time and raised lots of money for the challenge.
Thats all from me for now. Hope you don't mind my post being a little different form the norm! The card ingredients can be found listed at the bottom of this post in the Labels sections
Thanks for popping by,

Morning - Today I am showing you another card I have made with a Kenny K image called Troublemaker.

I used a small Ice Cream stamp from Avery Elle You're Cool collection and added a little glaze and cosmic shimmer over the top to add some detail. I tied some American Crafts twine around the panel and attached a little metal ice cream charm.
I used the same stamp collection to stamp the greeting on a wooden flag from Hobby craft and tied some mint green twine around in a bow.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Spice, Coral, Soft Peach, Blush, & Antique white.
Ice creams -/ Hair & Trainers - Baby Pink, Cocktail Pink & Carmine.

Kenny K GDT!

Hello - Exciting news!
I have been asked to be a Guest design team member for Kenny K Stamps. Cool Hey?!?
This image is called Dowager Countess  and the DT have the theme of Spring flowers.
Anyone who enters the current ATG challenge, which lasts all month, will get this image as a freebie - How fab is that!

I used Echo Park This and That Graceful collection. I thought this was perfect for the image and the flower just reminds me of the Poppies and Ranunculus that I have waiting to be planted in my garden. Sadly the flowers only last through spring but they are so pretty and bright!

I covered the base card with the patterned paper and used one of the patterned panels and a greeting stickers all from the same collection - which I mounted on to Green American Crafts card. I added some gems onto the image and the greeting. I also added some stickles to the feathers and dress to make them shimmer. The final touch was to colour a Wycinaka banner black and add the sparkles. I think it all goes well with the regal image.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral Spice and Baby pink cheeks. Cloud Blue Eyes.
Hat & Coat - Lime Green, Pear Green, Herb Green, Olive  & Moss.
Dress & Feathers - Pastel Pink, Ruby, Cardinal Red & Wild Cranberry.

Happy Easter.

Happy Easter everybody!

So I've gone with an Easter Bunny... although not a traditional image but it is a fab new digi stamp from Dr Digi called Betty the Bunny. And there are lots of co-ordinating images and papers to use with Betty.

I covered the base card with three different patterned papers from Echo Park Celebrate Easter collection. I die cut the green paper with a My favourite things stitched scalloped edge die and I used a forth pattern page to die cut the egg with a MFT oval double stitiched die. I thought the white Pompom ribbon was perfect for the rabbit theme as they remind me of little Bunny Tails!
I cut around the image and used 3d foam to adhere Betty to the base card. Finally I added  few stripy enamel dots.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Unsual
Eggs - Summer Sun, Lime Green, Poppy, Ocean Teal, Bright Orange and Cloud Blue to shade.

Bunny suit - Blue Greys 1,2 & 3 with Baby Pink, Cocktail Pink and Pink Mittens.
Basket - Tan, Caramel, Cinnamon & Raw Sienna.

I hope you haven't made your self feel sick with too many choc eggs or big easter Roast dinners!
Enjoy the rest of the Bank Holiday,
See you soon,

I covered the base with the sky and cloud patterned paper from My Minds Eye and over this I die cut a Skyline from My Favourite things Die-namics.  I added some My Favourite things Just Delightful paper for the green stripes and over that I placed the glittery American Crafts Thickers called Amber to spell out MUM. Tiki Pole spinner.

Morning - I have something a little different for you today... I made a spinner card using TIKI POLE from Dr Digi.

I printed the image out twice on to wood grain paper - making sure I flipped the image so they match when I stick them back to back.
I then coloured the images in using Prisma Colour pencils -
Jade Green, Light Aqua & Aquamarine.
Ultra Marine, Indigo Blue & Peacock Blue
White & Black
Dark Brown, Burnt Ochre & Ginger Root.
Crimson Lake & Crimson Red.
Yellowed Orange & Orange
Canary Yellow & Lemon Yellow.

I cut a panel from the base card and them glued the two coloured images together with a clear thread running in between them. I then glued the top and bottom of the thread into the top and bottom of the base card so the image could spin in the space.
I covered the back panel with patterned paper from Crate Paper Journey and edge this panel and the aperture with peel offs which I coloured with Turqouise promarker.

Hope you like this card - It was really fun to colour this image although it was a little labour of love as I had to go over every line to make it pop out.

All from me for now - See you back here soon,
Liz (:(|)x
