Sandy Beach.

Hello everyone - There a couple of changes happening at All Dressed Up at the mo with some new ideas regarding the challenges so whilst they are all taking shape I have made this card for the FACEBOOK challenge and the theme is Pastels! As I told the DT - this is pretty much as pastel as I get as you all know I love the brights....I do love this mint green and peach combo though.

The image I have used is called Sandy Beaches which you can buy just by clicking on the link. Its a fab image and so much fun to colour in.  I think these big images need to just be centre stage so I kept it pretty simple (Although now I've posted it... my OCD is twitching at the uneven matt... its didn't look so wonky before.... I think the corrugated card has unrolled and flattened more in the bottom left corner!)
The card and wood effect paper are from Teresa Collins Trendsetter collection as are the letters and the enamel dots. (Think I got it all as a kit from Create and Craft... had the whole lot for a couple of years if I'm honest!!)
I used a My Favourite things die-namics die to cut the banner and added a little wooden shell embellishment. Finally I used a white gel pen and a silver pen to add some shine and details

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers -
Soft Peach, Peach, Mango & Orange.
Honeydew, Aquamarine & Mint.
Buttercup, Pineapple crush, Mustard, Sleigh bells & Raw Sienna.
Cool greys
Powder Blue.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Make sure you all get your entries into challenge on facebook- can't wait to see what you create!

Quick post to show the last few makes here at the Hut. Work been very busy so its nice to have this hobby to relax - to switch off. Today we have both had a day off together, so we have been to make plans for our wedding.

I made this one with a Stamping Bella stamp, coloured with Promarkers. I cut the window with a nestability from Teresa Collins paper and added a selection of gems and die cut snowflakes. I enjoyed colouring this image and put on the obligatory stickles sparkle with a wooden greeting which seemed very adpt for the stamp.

This is also a Stamping bella stamp. (My current obsession!) I kept this one quite clean and simple as the image is pretty big. I added some ribbon and Pink pearls to co-ordinate with the promarkers. I love pink & green together but it was inspired by the lastest Stamping Bella blog post and challenge - which I will enter this in to. I am finding challenges really useful to giv me some inspiration but its hard to keep on top of all the different ones and the closing dates!
All for now - I have a few more cards nearly finished so will post again soon, (:(|)x
