Fanks Drac

Morning all.
I am feeling fresh after my extra hours sleep and still buzzing from the exciting game of World Cup Rugby yesterday. England are in the final!! I am writing this whilst watching the other semi final of Wales v South Africa.
So my card today is using Drac's Dentures  from Dr Digi. Now we don't really do Halloween but it is becoming such a massive event now and Dr Digi has loads of fab fun images but my point is - they are also really good for other celebrations. So I have used this image to make a Thank You card, but it could be a Get well card or a Older Birthday card.

I've coloured Drac with copics and teamed him with Doodlebug papers and letters to spell out the greeting. The bats are little peel offs and the black gem swirls are from Hobbycraft.

I  hope you like my card for today and have a great weekend (Despite the rain!)
Fingers crossed for an even better weekend next time with the Rugby World Cup final!!!

Copic challenge OCtober - Autumn

Hello - Have you checked out the new challenge at Copic Uk on facebook?
This months theme is Autumn. I have used an image from Tiddly Inks Wryn collection.

Obviously its coloured with Copics and I used a My Favourite things die to cut the wavy edges and used a little twine to keep with the kraft and natural feel.

Hope you like the card and will join in our new challenge.

Training School.

Morning - the new Challenge at The Paper Shelter is the theme of Back to School. I have chosen to play with the image called My Little Dragon Army -
It reminded me of the film "How to train your Dragon?"
So today we also pick up our new rescue Puppy... and we will be going back to school to learn how to train her. She is 5 months old and has been rescued from the streets of Romania. She has never been on a lead and is quite shy and timid at the moment so we have to be slow and gentle in her training.
Anyway enough about that - I hope you like my card and will join in the challenge.

Trekking Girl

Hello -
There is a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme is Holidays. I used this image called
Trekking Girl
I really struggle to not go full bold colour on everything... so I'm pleased with the soft tones I managed to stick to with this card.  I teamed it with kraft card and a grey boarder to match the font. I kept it simple but I think its a cute card.

Thanks for visiting my blog - its appreciated,

Lifeguard Lynn

Morning - so I've had chance to catch up on a little colouring this week and played with this new image called Lifeguard Lynn from Dr Digi. I also used the Lifebelts paper.
Now for some reason my mojo for using the coloured up images to make a card is struggling a bit of late. So I'm letting myself of the hook a bit by making them up and stepping away till I think of how to complete them. No point in messing it up.

What do you do when your mojo is low?

All for now, Liz (:(|)x

Time to meet Captain Gneng.

Morning -
I don't know about you but 2018 flew by for me - I can't believe we are nearly in March already and to think it will be 2020 soon. When I was a kid I imagined in 2020 we would all be living in space and flying around on hoverboards like something from Back to the Future!! But reality is we prob won't have encoutered an Aliens like our Captain Gneng

Right - I better get on... got to get some miles in before some more DIY! No wonder the days are flying by !!

See you soon,

Sleepy Time

Hello - have you seen the new releases over at All Dressed Up? They are gorgeous and there seems to be a theme of sleep! Something I def need more of! I would love to go into hibernation and just wake up when all our building work is finished but that's not going to happen so.... we keep soldiering on!!

I got to play with this cute fox image called Sleepy time  which I coloured with Copics and then added some texture using prisma colour pencils. I die cut the image and used tree paper from Websters pages on a kraft base. I added some lace and a gold greeting from Do Crafts.

I hope you like Foxy - and go to take a look at all the other lovely creations with the beautiful new images.

Thanks for stopping by!!
