Love from Valentine Derek

Morning -
Well what comes next in the Crafty calendar after Crimbo is done... Valentines! So I've had a little play with Valentine Derek from Dr Digi. I teamed him up with a Spellbinders nestibilities heart die cut from My Favourite Things Just delightful paper and layered some kraft & gold dot card behind it.

I added a die cut Love from gold mirri and added some gold hearts from Pink Fresh. Finally I added some ribbon and details with white pen.

I used Promarkers to colour Derek -
Skin - antique whit, blush, soft peach, coral & spice
Suit - cool greys & black
Flowers, bow tie & ribbon - poppy, ruby & burgundy
Chocs & flowers - baby pink & cerise
Leaves - forest green & lush green.

I hope you like this card and I think I would be quite happy with some chocolates and a bunch of flowers!!

Casual Boy in Blue

Good Morning - we have a new challenge starting today on the challenge blog at The Paper Shelter.
The theme is shades of blue so I used this gorgeous image called Casual Boy

I coloured him with my new copics (EEEKKK!!) and kept the colour scheme restricted. I used  the My Favourite things dies stitched wonky rectangle to cut the pattern paper panel from My Favourite things paper, just delightful hearts & stripes collection. I also used this paper to cut the greeting with a Lawn fawn Big scripty words die. The gold tag is from Hobby craft and I mounted the panel on gold also to tie it altogether. Finally I added the three blue star stikcers.

I hope you like him!!

Thanks with Peonies

Morning everyone - the first challenge of 2018 has begun at I Love Promarkers. The theme is Thank You and it is sponsored by Ike's Art.
I kept my card quite Clean and Simple and printed the image twice to layer it up slightly, which I hav tried to show on the second photo.

I used a corner rounder punch on the image and the gold mirri mat. I added gold pen on the dots and also in the middle of the flowers. I used gold mirri to die cut the Thanks 6 times and layered these together.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Leaves - Bright green, Emerald & Sea Green
Flowers - Maroon, Vermillion, Hot Pink & Cerise
Shading - Cloud Blue & Powder Blue.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

I hope you like the way it has finished up and you are full of creativity to start 2018!!
