Thanks with Peonies

Morning everyone - the first challenge of 2018 has begun at I Love Promarkers. The theme is Thank You and it is sponsored by Ike's Art.
I kept my card quite Clean and Simple and printed the image twice to layer it up slightly, which I hav tried to show on the second photo.

I used a corner rounder punch on the image and the gold mirri mat. I added gold pen on the dots and also in the middle of the flowers. I used gold mirri to die cut the Thanks 6 times and layered these together.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Leaves - Bright green, Emerald & Sea Green
Flowers - Maroon, Vermillion, Hot Pink & Cerise
Shading - Cloud Blue & Powder Blue.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

I hope you like the way it has finished up and you are full of creativity to start 2018!!

Enchantress

 Morning -
Today is the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme is Girl Power. I have used this fab image called Enchantress.
I've been after a reason to colour her up and she just reminds me of something from Game Of Thrones!

I thought the shapes and shimmer on this SEI paper called Jocelyne was perfect to go with the image. I kept the design simple as the paper is so detailed. I used a corner rounder punch on the image panel and the base card. I tied two different ribbons around the top of the card and ties a litte bow. Finally I added some gems and lots of gold pen to give the image detail.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - usual
Hair - Buttercup, Pineapple Crush, Sleigh bells
Staff - Saffron, Cinnamon & Raw Sienna
Top - Fresh Bloom, Peony & Tropical Orchid.
Skirt - Honeydew, Fresh Meadow, Sea Mist & Soft Green
Leg sheilds - Apricot & Mango

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

And just look as the ace prize you can win if you enter the Paper Shelter Challenge...!

Well - that's all from me for now,
Have a fab day!

Friends & Fairies

Hello - Today is the start of a new challenge at I Love Promarkers and the theme this fortnight is Angels & Fairies. The sponsor offering the prize digis is Bugaboo  and I have used an image called Kidz fairy sitter.
I reverted to type this week and went bold and bright with a bit of quirky edge with a circular base card.

I covered the base card with Doodlebug papers called Colorwheel and cut the greetings panel from the same collection. I mounted this onto black card and used a corner punch to round the edges. I added some co-ordinating flowers from my stash and attached black gems into the middle of them. I covered the wings in clear Wink of Stella and attached a little black Onxy liquid pearls into the middle of the flower on the greeting.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image-
Skin - Usual
Hair - Buttercup, Summer Sun & Gold
Tights - Bright orange & Mandarin, Wild Orchid & Red Violet.
Top - Pink Lobster & Vermillion
Wings - Pastel Green & Frosted Jade
Skirt - Lime Zest, Lime Green, Grass & Emerald.

I hope you like her and I would love to see all your entries into the challenge for a chance to win these ace digis!
Take care,

Endless Wash day's...

Morning All
I'm making lots of Mother's Day cards at the mo so thought this image called Wash Day from Dr Digi. This is to say Thanks to all those hardworking Mum's out there with endless laundry!

I printed the image onto white and also onto the coloured Papers which I then cut out and paper pieced onto the base image and glued in place.
I coloured the rest of the image and used a punch to round the corners. I mounted this on to paper from My Favourite things Just Delightful Fun & Frolic collection. I also used a piece from this to cover the base card and used the green spotty paper to die cut the grass using a die from Joy of Crafts.
I tied some red twine around the top and tied a bow which I then added a little heart too which is from Make it Crafty. Finally I used Harold ABC stamps from Lawn Fawn to spell out the "Thanks Mum".

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image
Shading - Cool Grey 1 & 2
Powder Blue to highlight the white.
Buttercup, Pineapple Crush & Sleigh Bells
Leaf Green & Grass
Royal Blue & Prussian
Poppy & Burgundy
Henna, Cocoa & Cinammon

Mag's Birthday

This weeks challenge at I love Promarkers is asking for cards made with the Men in mind.

I've made this card using an image from Walting Mouse stamps - Half Pint Heroes
and made it for my friends Birthday on behalf of his new daughter Darcey. It was his first birthday as a Daddy! Darcey and I had a chat and she wanted it to be bold with blue and red. Her Daddy loves cars and bikes so I went with the car stamp.

The papers I've used are from Doodlebug - Kraft in colour which I mounted onto red Card and Red swiss dot paper which I used with a star punch and then mounted onto black. I stuck the stars on with 3D foam to make them stand out a little. I also attached some red chevron ribbon from The Ribbon Girl.
I stamped and coloured the image and then I used a corner rounder punch and did the same once I had mounted it onto the black card. I also added a few Blue papermania gems and I die cut the Silver Happy Birthday from Mirri card using a die from Paper smooches. I used lots of bits and scraps - I hoard!!So these little pieces are great for using up my stash.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image in -
Man - Soft peach, blush & antique white with cocktail pink cheeks.
Hair - Raw Sienna
Car - Poppy, Red & Cardinal red.
Lights - Bright orange & Canary
Wheels & hood -Warm greys
I edged the image with Powder blue and also used some silver pen to add details and a white gel pen to add highlights.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Cards for guys - things beginning with M - Motor!
Creative card crew - Masculine
Without words - dot the boys

Autumn Leaves

Morning - This post is my latest creation for the DT at I love Promarkers. The theme this week is
Autumn and I have used this image from Tiddly Inks called Wryn's Leaves.

I love the Autumn colours - although not quite my usual bright schemes - they are still so colourful. I have used 3 different sheets of paper and they are all from Simple Stories collection, ironically called I Heart Summer - they are very warm shades but still perfect for Autumn.
I die cut 3 leaves from some different colour paper scraps and I used a little hole punch to tie them together with twine, which I then tied in a bow on the button (As always from my stash of buttons & ribbon). The greeting is from Jillibean Soup and was a perfect colour match. I also added a few enamel dots from My Minds Eye Jubilee collection. I hand cut the wave and used a corner rounder (is that a word??) on the image panel and based Kraft card.

I used these promarkers and Flexmarkers to colour Wryn -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Hair - Chestnut & Raw Sienna.
Leaves - Grass & Forest, Summer Sun & Sleigh Bells, Honeycomb & Spice, Lime Zest & Lime Green, Pesto & Olive, Maroon & Burgundy.
Pile of leaves - Mixture of the above colours as well as Soft Khaki.
Background - Khaki, Icicle & Ivory.
Dog - Warm Greys.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

My Heart Beats for you...

Hello -  as you read this I am actually away camping in the Lakes! Oh the power of Scheduled posts!

So here is this weeks showcase of a fab Dr Digi image called X-ray Raymond. He's a pretty new addition to the collection and I wanted to use him a bit different to a Get well card or something similar. I think he works well as a "Manly" Valentines or just a note to the other half to tell him he's still got it!

I used a Die-namics zig zag die to cut some Doodlebug lime green glitter paper- I thought they looked like a hospital monitor so attached them to some Bazzill card stock which has a matt & gloss stripe finish. I printed and coloured X-Ray Raymond with promarkers and used a silver pen to highlight the bits that should be metal. I mounted him on some Peacock glitter card - also from Doodlebug and I used a corner rounder on both. I added a Hobbycraft heart sticker to the x-ray and also in the wording rather than spelling out "heart". The letters are stickers from Doodlebug that I would be lost without - I use them on virtually everything!

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft peach, Coral & Spice.
Gown -Turquoise & Marine.
Eyes - Cloud Blue
X-Ray - Ice Greys
Machines - Blue Greys (flex)
I used red along with Lime Green and Pear Green to accent the machines.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Simply Papercrafts - 7 ATG.
Crafts Galore - ATG.
Freshly Brewed Challenge - ATG
Inspiration Destination - ATG
Craft your passion - ATG

Thats All for now folks - Heres hoping we've had a dry weekend and I'm not suffering Hyperthermia!
