Things with wings

Morning - There is a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme is Things With Wings so I have used this cute twosome called Birds couple .

I die cue a piece of wood effect paper from Doodlebug using a stitched scalloped edge die and positioned it towards the branch.

I coloured the birds with copics -
Bird - BV00, BV02 & BV13
Girl Bird - Y11, Y08, Y35 & Y17

I then used Prisma colour pencils over the top to make the birds look fluffy!
PC 915 Lemon Yellow, PC 916 Canary Yellow & PC 1003 Spanish Orange.
PC 956 Lilac, PC 1008 Parma Violet & PC 1007 Imperial Violet.

I also used these prismacolours -
Leaves - PC989 Chartreuse, PC912 Apple Green & PC 909 Grass Green
Heart -  PC 926 Carmine Red & PC 924 Crimson Red
Feet & Beak - PC 935 Black, PC 1056 70% Warm Grey, PC 1054 50 % Warm Grey & PC 1051 20% Warm Grey.
Branch - PC 997 Beige, PC 941 Light Umber, PC 945 Sienna Brown & PC 946 Dark Brown.

I used a a stamp to make the greeting and added a matching red heart. Finally I used a white POSCA pen to add some highlights on the birds.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

I really love the way the pencil adds detail over the copics and thinks these little Birds look very cute!!

Uptown Girl Monique loves Macarons.

Hello - did this card for the Bellarific Friday at Stamping Bella and used Uptown Girl Monique loves Macarons.
I coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils and then added some dots with white pen and some stickles on the Macarons.

I used My Favourite things inside outside stitched dies to create the panels and layered them all together on Kraft. The Papers are from Doodlebug Kraft in colour collection.

Hope you like her... I can't decide on a sentiment so any ideas be gratefully received!!

Special card for a special goodbye.

Hello - time to share a commissioned card. I love that I can make such personalised cards - This was for a teacher who was leaving. I was able to find the perfect image from Some Odd Girl called Little Loves - the Tobie version.(It is available with a little girl also.)  I used a colour scheme to match the Nursery uniform colours and to colour the image to match the hair and add names. Where else can you get a card so specific unless you go to a crafter for handmade!?

The papers are all from Doodlebug - The multi-coloured stars are from Anchors Aweigh pad,  the notepad is from Hello Sunshine and the blue ziz-zag from Kraft in Colour has been used to cut stars with a nestibilities die. The letters spelling out Gaynor and the small star sprinkles are also Doodlebug.

I also added a strip of yellow ribbon and a button which I tied a twine bow around. I stamped the top part of the greeting using Harolds ABC stamps from Lawn Fawn and then added some big Chalkboard letters from Jenni Bowlin. I think it ties it all together really nicely.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin  - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral, Spice and Baby Pink cheeks
Her Hair - Warm Greys
Her Top - Mulberry & Plum Preserve
Her trousers - Demin Blue, Polar Blue &Pastel Blue.

His hair - Burnt Sienna, Firewood, Cocoa & Walnut
His Top - Egyptian Blue, Royal Blue & Indigo Blue
His trousers - Cool Grey 2, 3, 4 & 5

I hope you like this card and the special person its made for does too!
