New Home

Today is the new challenge from I Love Promarkers and the theme is New Home. The sponsor is  Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps  and I have used an image called mushroom town

To make this card I took a card and folder the top in half to make it a mountain fold. I printed and coloured the image and then die cut it with a scalloped Nestibility. I trimmed the bottom section and tied a ribbon around the base and knotted this through a tag. I used Peel offs to put the greeting on the tag and added a few red gems to match the dots on the Mushrooms.
I used gnome paper from Pebbles and mounted this in red card bazzill card.  I used a die-namics die to cut some grass and then my Silhoutte to cut a Mushroom shape. I added this to the card with 3D foam so it sat above  a little and held the fold in place. Finally I added some stickles to the tops of the Mushrooms and in the holes of the die cut.

To colour the image I used promarkers & flexmarkers -
Top of Toadstool - Red, poppy, Ruby & Cardinal
Bottom of Toadstool - March Hare & Tawny Owl.
Doors - Raw sienns, Henna & Cocoa
Sky & Windows - Powder blue
Grass - Grass, Emerald & Honeydew.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Ribbon Girl - use any image
Allsorts - Use 3 dies

Fuzzbog Wumble

Morning All - Here is my latest DT post for the I love promarkers  challenge blog. This weeks theme is Blue and it is sponsored by Stitchy Bear. The image I have used is called Fuzzbog Wumble

The papers I have used are from Doodlebug collection called Hip Hip Hooray. I also used Blue Bazzill basics which I used to mount the turquoise card stock , around which I tied yellow twine from We R Memory Keepers. I cut the bottom panel using a Die-namics die to give it a notebook edge. The letters used to spell out HEY are from Hobbycraft. I glued two googly eyes and finally some co-ordinated homemade enamel dots.

I used these promarkers & Flexmarkers -
Arms & legs - Frosted jade & Turquoise.
Teeth & ears - Canary & Gold.
Fuzzybog body - Glacier blue, Sky blue, Azure, Royal blue & Midnight Blue - for slight shadow.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

All for now -

Sunny Miss Weeble

There is a new challenge starting over at I Love Promarkers and the theme is Summer! Its just perfect for this heat wave we have had today (We will wait and see if it continues?!) I am defiantly a Sun Worshiper and love being outside in the warm weather. Its making the garden bloom too.

I made this card using an image from the sponsor of the challenge - Stitchy Bear and the image is called Miss Weeble.
The Background papers are from Echo Park Splash collection as is the "SUNNY" sticker. I have also added some butterflies and a chinese lantern from K&Co Grand Adhesions. I added a few Martha Stewart glittery resin flower embellishments. I added a little gold detail from to the image from a pilot pen.

The promarkers I've used on Miss Weeble are -

The theme is just perfect for this heat wave we have had today (We will wait and see if it continues?!) I am defiantly a Sun Worshiper and love being outside in the warm weather. Its making the garden bloom too. Im pleased with creations in the garden - (And I have the other half to thank for watering it regularly!!) So here's a couple of pics - I love my little shed and my veggie patches. We've had chicken salad for tea with freshly picked veg!

All for now from me. I'm back off out into the sun! (:(|)x
