Morning all - there seems to be lots of bug and germs going around at the minute and so far (touch wood ) I have avoided getting any illness.
But I have picked up Man flu from Dr Digi (see what I did there??) and had great fun colouring him and paper piecing on him. I kept the image really big - filling almost half the a4 sheet and kept it as an A5 card.
This is how the image starts off - printed out twice - once onto the plain card to be coloured in with the Promarkers and printed the same size onto the patterned paper. I then cut out the areas of the duvet that I glued onto the coloured image. I did use some Warm Grey 1 & 3 to add some shading on to the patterned duvet also.
The background paper is from Mambi and I used a corner punch to take the edges off the bottom section. The duvet paper is from My Favourite things and the letters are from Doodlebug. Once the image was completed I cut around the entire thing and stuck it to my base card with 3d foam.
I used these promarkers and flex markers to colour him in -
Skin - Usual
Bed & Drawers -Caramel, Cinnamon, Henna & Walnut
Socks & Top - Red Poppy & Burgundy
Medicine and soup - Apple & Pine
Medicine and drink - Orange & Bright Orange
Warm greys 1 to 5 for shading.
I also used a little silver pen on the spoon and thermometer, along with some powder blue to add shading to the white areas.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Brown Sugar - ATG (w)
YOur next stamp - layout
Crafting with attitude - ATG
Crafty Gals corner - Use Patterned paper
SO keep eating your greens and getting your 5 a day.
Stay Healthy!

Lucy's 5th Birthday.
Morning - My creation for today is for I love Promarkers. Its week two
of the Challenge and the theme is Use a number. This could be an age, a
date or a house number. There are two sponsors this week - Col Art
(Letraset) and Opal Crafts. The Winner is picked at random and there is
also a top three chosen by the Design Team.

I made this card for my Goddaughter Lucy's 5th Birthday. I have used a rubber stamp image from Stamping Bella called Tiny Townies Tiny Dancers and coloured the girls in the same Ballet colours that they have.
I mounted a panel of Me & My Big Ideas flower paper onto Lilac bazzill card. I used a spellbinders die to cut the doily shape from Papermania Glittered vellum and placed this behind a stripe of shimmer bazzill cream card, which I wrapped some co-ordinating blue ribbon from American Crafts around it.
I spelt out LUCY using American Crafts thickers in silver and also used number 5 for her fifth Birthday. The greeting is a clear sticker from Kaisercraft and I added some pink gems, along with stickles to make the dresses sparkle.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Girl 1 Hair - Buttercup, Cananry, Pineapple crush & Sleigh bells
Girl 2 Hair - Caramel, Cocoa & Walnut.
Clothing - April showers, Powder Blue & Cobalt Blue.
Baby Pink, Salmon & Carmine
Lavender & Orchid.
Ice Grey 1 for shading.
Girl 3 Hair - Raw Seinna, Saddle Brown & Cocoa
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
It would be lovely to see all your enteries into this challenge.

Ruby wedding anniversary (That's 40 years!!)
Now here's a card you won't have seen from me for a while .... a card without any colouring using promarkers! Most of my creations contain images now so this one is a break from the norm.
I made this card for the soon to be In-laws who are celebrating there 40th Wedding anniversary. The 40th is Ruby so I used lots of red to make the flowers from a die cut. I also used the die cuts to make some leaves from paper from Pink Petticoat wood grain pattern. The background paper is from Mambi and has a lovely subtle sheen to the pattern. I mounted the panel onto red bazzill card and then onto the Kraft card base. I attached a strip of the wide ribbon and some red gem swirls from Hobbycraft.
I cut the red bazzill to make a red flag and I used the number dies to cut out the 4 0. I added the green wood grain paper behind to make them pop out. The letters spelling out YEARS are from Websters pages and the "Congratulations" is a sticker from KaiserCraft.
Brown sugar - flowers.
Fussy & fancy friday - Flowers.
Polkadoodles - Sparkle, Bling & glitter.
Use your stuff - Die cuts.
All for now for the impromtu drop in!
See you back here on Sunday.

Harry Potter
There is a new challenge today at I Love Promarkers and the theme is to use More than 3 Layers.
I have had this image from Tiddly Inks but never quite known what to use it for, but then I was asked to make a birthday card for a young Lady called Jade who is turning 13yrs. She loves Harry Potter and this Wizard and Wizardette digi was perfect to put together to be the three famous characters. The card is from her brother so it couldn't be too mushy or girlie. I hope this is the exact balance with a bit of pink and glitter.
The background is from Mambi Paper which is lovely with a green foil effect and I die cut the Banner using a Die-namics Die cut from Simple Stories DIY Boutique range. I added the Black gem swirls which are from Hobbycraft and some Cosmic Shimmer and glaze to the
Letters are from Doodlebug and The green glitter card is also from Doodlebug. The Enamel dots are ones I made myself by melting Perle beads. (This was so easy to do - just google it!)
I got the big glittery resin owl from Ebay - Im not sure what make he is but he is fab!!
The promarkers and Flexmarkers I used are -
Scarves - Red Sweater, Burgandy & Mustard & Sleigh Bells.
Cloaks & shoes - Cool greys.
Trousers - Warm Greys
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Harry's Hair - Warm Greys and Umber
Hermione's Hair - Sandstone, Cappucino, Cocoa & Henna
Ron's Hair - Spice, Burnt Orange,
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -/craftyourpassionchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ - ATG
CCEE Stampers - Harry Potter.
Creative card Crew - Banner / flag

The Latest creation...10th Anniversary Card.
I love this Some Odd Girl image - its perfect for this Anniversary card. I was asked to make this by a friend at work as a special anniversary card for his wife to celebrate there 10 years together. He wanted a Russian theme as that is where they met - the only other detail I got out of him was that his wife like Verve Clique Champagne (Don't we all?!) So I added a 2005 Vintage bottle of Champers!
The image of St Basil's was a free image from the Internet which I coloured with Promarkers - as were the digi image from SOG. The colours used are -
Skin - Spice, Coral, Soft Peach, Blush & Antique White.
His Hair - Warm Greys.
Jeans -Twilight Sky, Demin, Cornflower, Glacier blue.
Shirt - Cardinal Red, Ruby, Poppy, Red.
Her Hair - Nutmeg, Burnt Umber, Rosewood, Burgandy, Warm Greys
Top - Oatmeal, Gold, Bright Orange
Skirt & Shorts - Cool Greys
The Building is coloured using Light fawn, Nutmeg and Terracotta.
The greens are - Emerald, Green & Meadow Green the blue is True blue, Sea Blue and Polar blue.
The golds and red are the same of the clothing.
The background paper is from Mambi and I love the pearl effect the paper has - it shimmers beautifully! I added Peel off wording and Black glittery letters from Hobbycraft for "WIFE". The ribbon is from American crafts collection and I also added a diamante frill (Diamonds are the gem traditionally given as a gift for 10 year anniversaries apparently along with Tin ... Know which I'd prefer!!)
