The Two of Us

So I have been loving  playing with this image and I know christmas is done but I still have so many images and ideas I want to play with. So I have been playing with this image from Stamping Bella  called Polar Bear and Mousie Stuffies and how it looks on Kraft.  I love this image as the size difference is about right for me and my Husband!
This first one I coloured used Prismacolour pencils and I am pleased with how it turned out. I think he looks quite fluffy!! I particularly love his little paws!! I added a little liquid pearls to make dots and a little stickles on the mouse' hat.

This one I coloured with promarkers and then fussy cut the image and attached it to the kraft base. The little strip of paper is from Lawn Fawn Snow Days. I added some red twine and a little chipboard snow flake

I hope you like them!
I have more Christmas to play with yet before I pack it away for another year so Sorry! (Not really sorry!!)

All Dressed Up Sparkle and shine.

Afternoon - I'm helping out the Facebook All dressed up design team today so I get to share this card with you - using one of my current favs... Christmas Hair do. The Challenge on Facebook  starts today with a Sparkle and Shine theme. So I have used tons of gems and covered the wooden embellishment with red promarker and Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen.

I die cut a circle of red paper and covered the base card with green patterned paper from Lawn Fawn Snow Days. I added a stripe of ribbon and then cut around the image and used 3d foam to adhere her to the base.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual
Hair - Warm Greys
Jumper and hair band - Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Scarf and leaves -  Lime Tiwst, Grass & Lush Green
Antlers - Tan, Cocoa & Chestnut.

Hope you like her and enjoying all the christmas inspiration!

Christmas Penguin

Hello! I'm back with some more inspiration using the new release images from All Dressed Up. You can see them all on the facebook page and over at the blog. This one I've been playing with is called Christmas Penguin You can get your mitts on them at the Etsy shop.

The striped background paper with the heart and greeting are from Lawn Fawn Snow day collection whilst the patterned papers are from Lawn Fawn Knit Picky collection. I used a Martha Stewart edge punch on the green paper and added a thin strip of red mirri card to give the knitted paper a boarder.

I die cut the image with Lawn Fawn Stitched circle die and then added some stickles around the image to make it shimmer like frost. I attached some white pompom trim and finally a little sparkly snowflake.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Powder Blue
Cinnamon & Henna
Cool Grey 2 - 5
Mandarin & Canary
Forest green & Grass.

Hope you like my creation with this lovely new image.

Dr Digi in Making Cards Magazine.

So I can finally reveal that I have had the cards that I made using Dr Digi images published in  Making Cards Magazine which is out now. In the magazine is a discount code for your to get these fab Christmas images...

I used a DoCrafts 12 Days of Christmas Filigree Card blank amd covered the inside with Lawn Fawn Snow day patterened paper. I printed the image which is called Simple Santa onto Super smooth card and coloured the image with Promarkers. I die cut the image using a Lawn Fawn stitiched circle die and attached it to the middle of the card. I used the same die to get the correct shape – arrange the letters from an Alphabet stamp setcalled Harolds Abc into an arc on a stamp block and stamp onto the image panel using Memento Ink. I added some Amercian Crafts Ribbon and then added the greeting from Craftworks cards onto a punched circle. I used diamond stickles to add some sparkle to the snowman and finally added a Holly leaf embellishment from Hobbycraft.

I used these Promarkers and Flexmarkers –
Skin – Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice, with Baby Pink Cheeks.
Trousers & Scarf - Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy.
Scarf & Leaves – Emerald, Forest Green, Pine & Holly.
Snowman – Powder Blue
Stick – Cinnamon & Cocoa
Carrot nose – Orange, Bright Orange & Gold.
Beard, Boots, Hat & Phone – Cool Greys 1 to 5

I will post the other cards another time but for now I hope this encourages you to go and get the mag and the images,
