Love & Joy for Christmas

Hello -
Have you seen the latest challenge for September at Copic UK? It has the theme of  Christmas and I definitely need a push to get my Christmas cards made and every year I say that I will start making them earlier but never do!

I've used a Stamping Bella stamp coloured with copics and mounted on to gold miri cut using a Lawn Fawn die. The wooden embellishment is from Hobbycraft and I added the red hearts.
I hope you will all join in and you could win some copics!

Vicky's Kids

Hello -
today sees our latest release at All Dressed Up stamps. We are so lucky to have so much talent on the design team but Wendy who owns and draws this fab images is so generous that she even tackles our custom requests!! This image called Billy Goat Wendy created after I told her my sister had got some miniture goats and Id love a Goat image I could use for her upcoming birthday card!! Wendy produced this beauty!!!!
How many people can say they got the birthday card image drawn especially with them in mind??

I coloured the image with copics and added some texture fur to the Goat with prismacolour pencils. I die cut the image with a lawn fawn circle die and added a stamped greeting and some foam letters. Finally I added some die cut flowers and a gem.

These are my Sisters goats... they join the two sheep and have recently also been joined with two Donkeys!!

So thats all from me - have a great weekend,

Wryn Spring Bling dots.

Evening all
I've been playing with Tiddly Inks image called Wryn Spring Bling to join the Tiddly Inks polka dots challenge  so I went all out spotty....

I went with the purple and yellow colour scheme and the little bit of minty green and stuck with the dotty theme with the circle dies. To finish I added a few little purple pearls.

Hope you like her

Show your Wings

Good Morning -  The new challenge at The paper shelter challenge blog  has begun and the theme is Things with Wings. I think I must interpret the themes a bit literally but I had wanted an excuse to colour this image for a while so I went for it over the Fairies and Butterflies! This image is called
Lady with Wings
and I've teamed it up with a stamped greeting from The Paper Shelter. I die cut the image using a Lawn Fawn circular die and the paper is from My Favourite Things.

I know this is a fairly simple card but I really love how its turned out and it was fun to colour with the copics. It doesn't show to well on this card but I added a pale cloud background using the copic and blender pen so it was quite subtle.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will all join the challenge for a chance to win a voucher to spend on these fab images!!

Rita - queen of speed .... downhill!

Hello - I was working yesterday so didn't get chance to post this on here but this is Rita  from Dr Digi. I figure that I will put a greeting on it when I decided who I'm giving it too... I think something like "Downhill is more fun anyway" "Queen of speed... downhill" or "Not over the hill yet but its a steep climb". I like to personalise when I know who the recipient it with names or dates of birth.

I hope you like our Rita - I reckon shes having a blast on her mobility scooter.
Speak soon,

Happy Buddhist Bernie

Morning - I took this picture late last night as I'm currently staying at my Mums dog sitting -  two benefits... there is no dust and there is a cooker!! Downside is I have even less crafty stuff and had to take this photo with a lamp so apologies for the quality of the photo.
So whilst I have been away from the reno's I've coloured up Buddhist Bernie.
He is such as fabulous image and would fit so many occassions -  I tried to play with my skin tones too! I think they have worked out pretty good.

So Im hoping by the end of this week I may have a fully fitted working kitchen.... I do now have a working bathroom with shower and bath with running hot water!!! I love a bath but I'm going to wait until its all painted and cleaned properly so I can relax with some music and wine. Can you guess what Image I'll colour that week?? Lol!
Right - Better get back to the white paint being sucked up by the fresh plaster!!

Cute Zebra says HI!

Morning - the new challenge has just been launched at I love Promarkers . This week’s theme is Anything Goes with the option of   No Patterned papers  and the sponsor is  Fabrika Fantasy
I have used an image called  Cute Zebra 3. I love his little fat belly and all the round shapes so I used that as my design as I really struggle to not use patterened papers!!

I I coloured him with promarkers and used a Lawn Fawn circle die to cut him out and the red mirri card. I added some blue dots from Papermania and a greeting from Pebbles. As I am still only working on minimal crafty tools and goodies - I didn't have any glaze available to make his balloon shiny unfortunatly. I cannot wait to get my craft room back but it is still some weeks off... think a kitchen and bathroom need to take priority!! Its like camping in my own house at the mo!!!

Right all from me, Have a great day and I hope you will all join in the challenge.

Melvin the mod

Morning All - Today I am sharing with you a card I made for Making Cards magazine using Melvin the Mod  from Dr Digi.
I had a big birthday this last week and the various celebrations have gone on all week so all my good intentions of having a brand new creation for you have gone a little wayward!!

Ingredients –
Paper – My Favourite things – Black & White basics
Lawn Fawn Large stitched circle dies.
American Crafts Thickers Letters
Craftworks card greeting panel.
Orange stickles
Silver & White pen
Blue, white & Red card / paper.

I made a square card blank into a round base card by trimming off the corners. I used a Lawn Fawn die to cut the circles of different colour papers and glue onto the base card and covered the bottom section of the card with black and white patterned paper.

I used these Promarkers for skin - Skin – Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
   And these Copics  -
Tyres & Shoes - C7, C5, C3 & Black
Jeans – B93, B95 & B97
Jacket – YG63, G85 & YG67
Bike – B000, B00 & BG01
Light – Y17, YR04 &YR07
I Cut around Melvin and put 3D foam on the rear and place him on the base card off centre. I     added some details to metal of the bike with a silver pen and some highlights with a white pen and used some stickles to make the headlight shine.
I used Amercian thickers to add the letter stickers to spell out a greeting and  mounted the greeting panel from Craftworks card onto black so it stands out, cut around and stick to your finished card with 3D Foam.

I  I hope you like my card and will join me back here on Wednesday when I have new cards to show you from The Paper Shelter.

Happy Easter Folks.

Happy Easter Folks from me and Cuddly Critter Rabbit from Dr Digi! I thought he would go perfectly with this Echo Park Carrot paper. I figured his desire for Carrot is very similar to my Chocolate addiction!
So many many have you eaten already? - Nothing wrong with a full chocolate egg for Breakfast!! Cocoa is a bean so as far I can make out - Its one of my five a day !!

So basically I covered a card blank with Echo Park Celebrate Easter paper and die cut one piece with a Lawn Fawn big stitched circle die. I coloured the bunny with copics and then cut around him and used 3d foam to attach him to the card base. The felt carrots I got from Tesco (?!) and I stamped the greeting from Lawn Fawn Celebration Scripty Sayings stamps and then cut it down to a panel and mounted it on black.

I used W0 to W7 greys and RV10 & RV02 for his nose and ears with a touch of B00 for his eyes.

Right I better hop off.... I have more chocolate to eat!! Have a great day!

Christmas Penguin

Hello! I'm back with some more inspiration using the new release images from All Dressed Up. You can see them all on the facebook page and over at the blog. This one I've been playing with is called Christmas Penguin You can get your mitts on them at the Etsy shop.

The striped background paper with the heart and greeting are from Lawn Fawn Snow day collection whilst the patterned papers are from Lawn Fawn Knit Picky collection. I used a Martha Stewart edge punch on the green paper and added a thin strip of red mirri card to give the knitted paper a boarder.

I die cut the image with Lawn Fawn Stitched circle die and then added some stickles around the image to make it shimmer like frost. I attached some white pompom trim and finally a little sparkly snowflake.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Powder Blue
Cinnamon & Henna
Cool Grey 2 - 5
Mandarin & Canary
Forest green & Grass.

Hope you like my creation with this lovely new image.

Girlie Winterlight Wynn

Hello - I'm back again today to share my second creation for the Tiddly Inks 2:3 Challenge.
This one is for the second theme of Girlie Girl and what could be more girlie that pink, shimmer and gems. It is quite rare for me to do muted tones but I really love the natural and soft look of this using the filigree card base from Papermania. This image from Tiddly Inks is called Winterlight Wishes

I've included a closer picture so you can see the lovely shimmer on the polar bear which I got using a Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen and a little stickles. The ribbon and wooden embellisment are for Hobby craft. The pink background paper is from Pink Fresh Oh Joy collection which I think is my favourite so for Christmas papers.

I coloured the image using promarkers - A little powder blue on the polar bear and Blossom and baby pink on Wynn's clothes. I used warm greys on her hair and the fox.

Just look at this amazing prize... how much fun I could have spending this!!! FINGERS CROSSED!
All for now and Ill be back tomorrow with my last card for the 2:3 challenge.
