Teamwork.

Morning -
Today is the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme is Animal Magic. I have used this fab image called Teamwork.

I printed my image and coloured it in with Promarkers before I die cut the edge with a My Favourite Things scalloped stitched edge die. To the side of this I cut a piece of striped grey paper from My Minds eye Necessity pad. I mounted it all onto Green satin card - you can't tell from this pic but it is even all the way around (My issue with balance would not allow it to be otherwise!!) But because I have raised the coloured image panel up using 3d foam - it is hidden a little! I tied neutral  twine around the entire panel before I glued it down. I then added some Heart from Wycinanka which I coloured using Promakers. I also did this on the "Believe" which is from Make it Crafty. I have to say I am a little bit obsessed with these double layered words!! Finally I added a little flag of green ribbon and a little Wooden embellishment from My Minds Eye.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Tree - Sandstone, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Walnut & Henna.
Grass - Leaf Green, Grass,  Emerald, Lush Green & Forest.
Pandas - Black & Blue Greys with Cocktail Pink ears & feet.
Bamboo - Linen & Forest Green.
Hearts - Red & Carmine.
Believe - Leaf Green, Grass & Emerald with Blue Grey 5 as base layer.
Finally I edged the entire image with Powder Blue which I then blended in to give a soft finish.

A star is born.

Hello - here is the card I made for our Godson Zac who has recently turned 3yrs old. He loves dressing up! I have used another image from All dressed up stamps called A star is born.

The wood grain background is from My Minds Eye Necessities collection - Wood and I used a little from Simple Stories Claus & Co collection for the top star panel. I used the colours from this patterned paper to colour the image. I teamed this up with some Silver mirri which I cut using some fancy blade scissors. I also mounted the Star sentiment onto Silver mirri which I then stuck on to the card using 3d foam on the end of some green ribbon some it look suspended. I also tied a little bow with the ribbon and glued it to the top. I used some Doodlebug star sprinkles to add some extra detail and I spelt out Zac using glittery Thickers from American crafts.

I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice with Baby Pink cheeks.
Head dress - Ruby, Red Sweater & Burgundy
Sheep - Cool Greys.
Staff - Raw Sienna & Chestnut.
Tunic - Khaki, Pesto & Herb Green
Sleeves - Tan and Warm Grey 3.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Crafty Friends - Challenge 20
Fantasy Stampers - CAS
Crafty Catz - Sparkle & shine.
Graph'it markers - Gold or silver.
