Love All dressed Up Bunny
Hello - Time for me to share with you my latest Design team card for All Dressed Up. This time I've used a section of an image called A time to give - I edited the image and then printed just the Bunny part to colour and cut out. I knew I wanted the Bunny to be a shade of grey but I actually used B60 and then the palate developed from there. I only used 6 pens - so shows what you can do with a limited selection.
Im really pleased with how she has turned out although I tried to stamp the greeting in a pale grey but it looked a bit patchy so I ended up going over it with my black copic.
The papers are from My Favourite things and the enamel heart is from My Minds Eye and the stamped greeting is from Paper Smooches.
You can find all the other DT cards and the challenge blog details here -} February challenge #90
I would love to see lots of All Dressed Up creations!

Autumn Enchantment
Morning - We have a new challenge starting at The Paper shelter and the theme is Autumn colours! What a lovely topic to play with and the colours are so beautiful. I really enjoyed colouring this image called Autumn Enchantment.
I didnt know what colour to do her hair and then earlier this week we had a little frost and dew on the car and ground as I went off to work at 6.30 am so I decide to give her silver frosty hair and it goes perfectly with the colours in the paper from My Minds Eye.
I also a little Birch tree die I got free with a magazine recently as I thought it need something else down the side and as I've already mentioned my available embellishment stash is running low of choice... (Can't wait to get my house and craft room back!!!)
Right all for now from me - Im on dog sitting duties this week so need to go and tire him out before I go to work.
Have a lovely day and I hope you will all join in the challenge for a chance to win a cracking voucher for more Paper Shelter images!!

IT Ian
Morning -
Todays card is using I.T. Ian - Dr Digi .
I am rubbish with technology and always turn to my Husband to fix my laptop or the printer which has been a right nusiance this week. I still love a pencil and paper but I am also slightly addicted to my phone so I guess I am in that middle generation where it doesn't quite come naturally. I remember having to programme my parents Vhs recorder for them... Now Its my turn to struggle with setting the wifi and digital planner!!
Ive used copics to colour the image and the papers are My Minds Eye - Lil' Robots paper collection. i stamped a greeting from Mama Elephant Occasional Sayings and mounted it on black mirri card which I also used to make a boared using My Favourite things die. I also tied some twine around the card and made a little die cut spanner to add an embellishment using a screw brad.
Thanks for stopping by - that's all from me for now,

Hole in one Hal
Firstly ... I know ... I should have done a football card (Well Done England!!) but honestly its been a bit crazy busy here with house reno's and work etc so I am showing you the last card I did for the magazine a while back. I've kept it in reserve for this very reason... This is Hole in one Hal and he is such a fun image to colour.
So I have a question for your crafty folk... do you make your cards from start to finish in one go or in stages... I have loads of images coloured as thats the bit I love doing but then I need inspiration for how to make then in to a card. I should do the whole thing as I go along right? So be interested to know what your creative process is... if you have one!
Hole in one Hal was coloured using copics and papers are from My Minds Eye and Doodlebug. The greeting is from Make it Crafty and an embossing folder was used to make the golf ball effect pattern in the background.
I hope you like him and take a look at all the wonderful images at Dr Digi.

First Place Phil.
Evening -
Firstly I don't know where this whole week has gone!! I've worked 7 days and lost track of days so I'm very late with this card! But I am getting ready for Fathers Day next weekend. (Luckily my Dad doesn't do Blogs or Facebook so I'm safe posting... )
This is First Place Phil from Dr Digi and the sentiment is from the Fathers sentiment sheet.
There is also currently a discount code available for you to stock up on Mens images until 18TH JULY - See the link below...
This card uses background paper from My Minds Eye Miss Caroline - Dilly & Dally collection. The star is from a pack I bought at Hobbycraft donkeys years ago (So long it was no longer sticky!!) The arrows are from Doodlebug sprinkles. I used Glaze on the helmet to make it shiny!
I only used a few promarkers -
Skin - Usual
Suit - Poppy Ruby & Burgundy
Gold, Canary & Lemon
Ice Grey 1,3 & 5
Hope you like Phil - Sure Dad will as its in the Ferrari Red colour which he calls the works team... (He used to work for the group that owns them...! No sadly we never had a Ferrari... Although I do blame him for my fast driving and my sporty Alfa... )
Right all - I have two days off... lots to do and some miles to clock up running. Also hoping to get some new running trainers... I get a little too excited about this thought!

The wooden embellishments are from Hobbycraft and I cut it in half to spread in across the card.
On the image I used a silver pen for the spade base and also the buckles on her dungarees and then added white spotty detail on the wellies and head scarf.

Away with the Fairies.
Morning -
Today is the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme is "Away with the Fairies". I have used this fab image called Pure Innocence and tried to keep it muted tones rather than my usual style of all out bright but it was so difficult!!
The patterned papers I have used are from My Minds Eye Cut & Paste pad and I used some navy Bazzill to mount the image and also to die cut some scalloped edges using a My Favourite Things die. I also used a double stitched die to cut the image out in the oval shape.
I used a greeting panel from Craftworks Card and used a matching promarker to colour the greeting before also mounting this on to the Navy. I added a Petaloo Sweet Petites flower to a small hand cut flag in the top corner that I attached with 3d foam to give some depth.
I have put a side view in to show the Wink Of Stella clear pen that I have used over the Fairy Wings and also on the butterflies. This angle makes it shimmer a little more.
I u. sed these promarkers and Flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual
Hair - Blue Grey 1,2 & 4, powder blue & cloud blue.
Dress, wings & butterflies - Fresh Bloom, Pastel Pink & Heatwave
The challenge at The Paper Shelter is on now and just look at the prizes available...

Stamping Bella - thanks.
Thought I'd take this chance were I have no DT post to show you this card I made for Ben's Nan to thank her for a lovely gift. I have used a stamp from Stamping Bella called Tiny Townie Bonnie Loves Bows - I love this image and used the spots as the theme for the card.
The Striped paper is from My Favourite things Just delightful Dots & Stripes Sorbet. To the bottom I added a panel of Spotty paper from My Minds Eye Black and Grey Necessities paper pad and I used another sheet to die cut the heart using a spellbinders nestibilities die. To mirror all the bows I tied a thin piece of ribbon around the edge of the heart.
I used a Lawn Fawn Big Scripty die to cut the word Thanks from pink satin card and added a few co-ordinating gems.

Teamwork.
Morning -
Today is the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme is Animal Magic. I have used this fab image called Teamwork.
I printed my image and coloured it in with Promarkers before I die cut the edge with a My Favourite Things scalloped stitched edge die. To the side of this I cut a piece of striped grey paper from My Minds eye Necessity pad. I mounted it all onto Green satin card - you can't tell from this pic but it is even all the way around (My issue with balance would not allow it to be otherwise!!) But because I have raised the coloured image panel up using 3d foam - it is hidden a little! I tied neutral twine around the entire panel before I glued it down. I then added some Heart from Wycinanka which I coloured using Promakers. I also did this on the "Believe" which is from Make it Crafty. I have to say I am a little bit obsessed with these double layered words!! Finally I added a little flag of green ribbon and a little Wooden embellishment from My Minds Eye.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Tree - Sandstone, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Walnut & Henna.
Grass - Leaf Green, Grass, Emerald, Lush Green & Forest.
Pandas - Black & Blue Greys with Cocktail Pink ears & feet.
Bamboo - Linen & Forest Green.
Hearts - Red & Carmine.
Believe - Leaf Green, Grass & Emerald with Blue Grey 5 as base layer.
Finally I edged the entire image with Powder Blue which I then blended in to give a soft finish.
I would love to see all your makes with Animals included entered into the challenge.... Just look at the value of what you could win! Thats a fantastic prize and there are so many great images to choose from!!
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog.

Will you be Mine?
Morning - It's so nearly Valentines day so I thought I would make a manly card that wasn't too lovely or slushy and Deep Sea Doug from Dr Digi was the ideal image.
Hubby and I had date night last night and went for dinner and cocktails until we were so full we could barely walk home!! It wasn't because it was nearly Valentines day but our first weekend off together for a while so we had it booked in for ages... Romantic hey??!
So how do you think I have done? Even though there is pink - it isn't too girlie! This paper from a 12 x 12 Reflections pad called Today, Tomorrow and Forever matched perfectly the colours I used on the image (Incidentally I got this pad from TK Maxx and its is identical to a My Minds Eye 6X6 Pad... ?) I die cut the anchors using a Lawn fawn die from silver mirri and a gold textured card and couldn't decide which one to use so I used both!! I punched a hole in them and tied some twine around them to dangle which I attached on the inside.
I die cut around the image with My favourite things wonky stitched rectangle die and mounted it on to black card. Finally I added a few co-ordinating sequins and some silver pen to add a little extra detail.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - usual
Helmet & hair - Cool greys
Words - Pastel pink, Antique pink & Red Sweater.
Suit - Sea Mist, Pastel green, Aquamarine & Soft Green
Mine - Dove Grey, Stone wash, Blue Lake & Hearthstone.
That's all from me for now - Hope you all have a love filled Valentines Day - how ever and whom ever you spend it with,

2 Cool
Hello - Its time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme is Winter.
I found it difficult to do WINTER without slipping into Christmas, so I have used an image called Snowboarder Girl and gone with nontraditional colours of Bright Orange and Turquoise.
I have used papers and chipboard from My Minds Eye Colourful Christmas range. I mounted all the paper panels on co-ordinating panels of satin card and added some gems to the centre of the snowflakes.
I die cut around the image using a large stitched circle die from Lawn Fawn and over the top of this I used some Amy Tangerine Remarks letter stickers to spell out 2 Cool.
I coloured the image with these promarkers & flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice
Hair - Pink Mittens, Baby Pink, Cocktail Pink & Carmine.
Jacket - Gold, Orange, Bright Orange.
Trousers - Pastel Green, Oasis, Island Lagoon.
Boots - Powder Blue, Sky Blue, True Blue, Azure & Egyptian Blue.
And don't forget you get a fantasic prize if you are picked at ramdom when you enter your creations into The Paper Shelter Challenge !
Hope to see loads of entries!
Thanks for stopping by,
