Hole in one Hal

Firstly ... I know ... I should have done a football card (Well Done England!!) but honestly its been a bit crazy busy here with house reno's and work etc so I am showing you the last card I did for the magazine a while back. I've kept it in reserve for this very reason... This is Hole in one Hal and he is such a fun image to colour.
So I have a question for your crafty folk... do you make your cards from start to finish in one go or in stages... I have loads of images coloured as thats the bit I love doing but then I need inspiration for how to make then in to a card. I should do the whole thing as I go along right? So be interested to know what your creative process is... if you have one!

Hole in one Hal was coloured using copics and papers are from My Minds Eye and Doodlebug. The greeting is from Make it Crafty and an embossing folder was used to make the golf ball effect pattern in the background.

I hope you like him and take a look at all the wonderful images at Dr Digi.

The perfect day.

Morning - Have you seen the new challenge at I love promarkers -Our challenge is to use Embossing and the sponsor is Bugaboo. I have used an image called PoppiPenguin - Water Toy

I have used a Spellbinders embossing folder and I used Versa Mark inks to colour the waves which were die cut using My Favourite things scalloped stitched edge di. I used a  lawn fawn large stitched circle die, and attached it all together on a Round base card. I added some stardust stickles to the waves and finally a greeting sticker from Echo park Swim collection.

Looking forward to seeing all your entries into the challenge to win a fab prize!
Good luck!!

Yappy Christmas at All Dressed Up

Hello
The second part of the new release from All dressed up has gone live and for this one I have been able to play with Christmas Pooch. I took the knitted jumper theme and used papers from Lawn Fawn and a knitted embossing folder to make the base card. The image was die cut using a My Favourite things die and mounted this onto red knitted paper. I used a martha stewart punch for the edge and the greeting is a stamp from My Favourite Things also. finally i added some Green stickles to the scarf.

I used promarkers to colour the pooch and tried to make him love textured using all the warm greys.

All from me for now -  be back soon with more christmas creations xx
