Christmas Chris in print.

This is the final card from Making Cards Magazine. I've used Christmas Chris who is one of my favourite Christmas images from Dr Digi. Don't miss your chance to get you discount code from the article.

I used Doodlebug North Pole paper to create the background panel and mounted this with red mirri. I used a Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud stitched Boarder die on the image panel and mounted this on red mirri also. I used a sentiments panel from Craftwork Cards and attached a felt holly embellishment and some Doodlebug Holly sprinkles.

This card has used the following Promarkers and Flexmarkers –

Skin – Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice, with Baby Pink Cheeks.
Antlers & Tummy – Saffron & Tan.
Nose - Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy.
Onesie – Tan, Cinnamon, Cocoa & Henna
Pudding – Aubergine, Walnut & Tan with Lush Green and Leaf green leaves.
Hooves – Warm Greys
Eyes – Powder Blue.

I hope you have enjoyed your Christmas inspiration... think I am well in the stride now with all christmas papers out. It is only 11 weeks away and they are already selling selection packs in the shops!!

Elliot & Elvis posing in print.

Morning - this is Elliot and Elvis. They are Elves! And they feature in the current article in Making Cards that includes a Doctor Digi discount code! Did you know its only 91 days till Christmas? It will be here in no time so use this to get organized with your Christmas cards.

I used a Square Card blank to make a mountain folder card and covered it in papers from Doodlebug North Pole paper & Kraft in colour collection. Across the front I added a strip of green ribbon and some matte enamel sprinkles from Doodlebug.
I used promarkers &  Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen to colour a Make It Crafty layered sentiment Merry and teamed this with a Kaiser Craft Clear Stickers – Merry Christmas.I die cut the image panel using My Favourite Things Double stitched Oval die and mounted this onto Black card. I also used a little gold & white pen to add some details.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -

Skin – Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice, with Baby Pink Cheeks.
Trousers & Gloves – Grass, Forest Green & Pine.
Tops – Lime Zest, Lime Green & Pear Green.
Bow, Waistcoats & Hats – Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy.
Shoes – Warm greys.

That's all for me... got to make the most for the next 91 days!!

Me, Dr Digi & Making Cards Magazine.

Well.... who has seen it?? My first time in a printed magazine Making Cards! I was so excited to see the projects in print that I did for Dr Digi's House of Stamps.  (It's been a hard kept secret!) But here it is.... And to top it off - one of my cards is on the front cover!! There is also a great post over on the Dr Digi Facebook page....

I'm not going to go into detail of the recipes as I feel like this is covered by the magazine but I do want to show these fabulous images that I got to play with in a bit closer detail! Plus there is a 50% Discount code in the magazine for these images.

So here is Angling Andy -}

And the fabulous Aubery Bumblethope

And last but definitely not least - the wonderful Weekend Walter

I hope you enjoy seeing these pics and will use them as inspiration to get these images and create your own cards which we would love to see over at Dr Digi's facebook page.

We also have  a competition running at the Facebook page... you just need to like the page  and share the pinned post to be in with a chance to win some great digis of your choice!

Thanks for reading my self-indulgent post!!!
