Hello - I hope you are all settled into 2018. We took our deccies down yesterday and the husband has cleaned the house from top to bottom today whilst I have been at work. He is very good at doing all that stuff which I am not so good at!!
But this card was made for the In Laws to give to there builder as a Thank You. They joked with him about the mess he made and that he brought dust with him to scatter around. I have used this Dr Digi image called Man About the House
I covered the base card with patterned paper from Papermania and the greeting is from Pebbles. I used die cuts to cut out the tools from silver mirri card. The speech bubble was from Ikea and I wish I had better handwritting to use !! And I coloured the image with Promarkers.
Ok thats all from me for now and hoping now life is back to normal I can get a bit more interactive and get entering some challenges again - so thanks for being patient with me while it was all a bit hectic!!
Thanks for stopping by,

Chocolate is always the answer
Hey - I have been playing along with Stamping Bella and made this card using Edna loves Chocolate Seeing as it was all about the chocolate - I themed it with purple that reminded me of Cadburys wrappers and Dairy milk!!
I cut a panel of purple spotty paper from Doodlebug Kraft in colour collection which I die cut with a My Favourite things scalloped edge die. I also used a double stitched oval die to cut out the image which I stuck to the base card with 3d foam. The Thank you sticker is from Pebbles which I cut down slightly to fit in better.
I added a spotty co-ordinating button which I tied with the red twine. I stamped the greeting and then used promarkers to colour a chocolate Peel Offs and then added some little heart gems from Hobbycraft.
This is a bit of a close up to show you the sparkle on her wings from Spectrum Noit Sparkle pen.
I used these Promarkers to colour Edna -
Skin- Usual
Hair - Saffron, Cinnamon, Henna & Walnut
Wings - Powder Blue & Blue pearl
Clothes - Wild Orchid, Boysenberry & Aubergine
Chocs - Walnut, Saffron, Cool grey, Umber
Poppy & Burgundy
Leaf Green and Grass.
I hope you like her - I reckon I probably look at chocolate as adoringly as Edna!!
Have a good day,

Need a personalised Teacher Card?
Hi All - I'm currently making a few cards for Thank you's as its nearly the end of term. These can be personalised with names for the favourite teacher too. This one uses a stamp from Stamping Bella Uptown girl range called Tessie the Teacher.

I covered the card base with paper from Simple Stories Snap collection and then added a strip of the books which is from Echo Park Teachers pet collection. I die cut a panel from Blackboard paper from My Minds Eye All things chalk 6x6 paper pad using a My Favourite things wonky stitched die. I used versamark to stamp the greeting and then heat embossed it with white powder from Papermania.
I used a little strip of Doodlebug washi tape and finally added the paper clip around which I tied a little ribbon. I cut around the image and used 3d foam to attach it to the card after I added a little glaze to her glasses and the cup.
I used these promarkers and Flexmarkers to colour Tessie -
Skin - Spice, Coral, Soft peach, Blush & Antique White. Cerise pink cheeks.
Globe - Cloud blue, Sky blue & Azure. Meadow green, Grass & Emerald.
Desk - Sandstone, Cinnamon & Cocoa
Skirt - Ice greys and black top.
Apple & Book - Red, Poppy & Burgandy
Cardy - Soft Lime, Lemon & Canary with Orange and gold pockets.
Cup - Cerise & Cocktail pink
Books & Paper - Champagne.
Hair - Walnut, Burnt Sienna, Cocoa & Terracotta
Just drop me a note - here or on facebook - if you would like any personalised card - not just teachers.

All dressed Up - Best Teacher Ever,
Evening folks. I am currently sat writing this with a belly full of food after eating some Pork, Cranberry and Rosemary Sausages with Mash, Gravy and Peas!! Just had to share that!! Its our village festival this weekend so I ventured to the Farmers market and got those bad boys!! They are huge too - I only managed one. So now I am washing my dinner down with a glass of red wine whilst I indulge my second favourite past time - Crafting! (First is eating... Ha!)
Today is the start of a new challenge at All Dressed Up - You can enter with any All Dressed up image for a chance to win. I have used an image called Best Teacher Ever.
Today is the start of a new challenge at All Dressed Up - You can enter with any All Dressed up image for a chance to win. I have used an image called Best Teacher Ever.

The background paper is from Simple Stories Snap 6x6 pad. I die cut the star paper from Echo Park Techer's Pet collection using a large stitched circle die. I cut around the image and attached him to the card with 3D foam. I used a little gaze on his eyes and used wooden textured paper on the desk. Finally I added the Thank You greeting from Pebbles.
I am going to make a few Teacher Thank you cards and so left the bottom fairly empty so it could be personalised with the teachers name.
I used these promarkers and Flexmarkers -
Skin - Coral, Soft peach, Blush & Antique White with Baby pink cheeks.
Hat & Shirt - Cool Greys.
Eyes & cup - Powder & Sky blue.
Tie - Canary yellow.
Apples - Red, Poppy, Ruby & Burgandy.
Desk - Champagne & Tan.
I hope you like this and if anyone wants a personalised card with a name on - give me a shout. Leave comment here or on my facebook page.
Thanks
