Golden Wedding Anniversary - ADU

Hello -  We have a new challenge starting today at All Dressed Up and as always its an Anything Goes theme as long as you use an ADU image.
Now I have used this image called Happy 50TH to make an Anniversary card for my Parents as it was there Golden wedding anniversary on the 8TH June. To celebrate they hired a house in the Peak District for a week and we all went along for a few nights. We did lots of walking and eating and we were really lucky as the weather was lovely the whole time so we were able to get the dogs tired out!

I mounted the image onto Gold card and used a Sharpie to  colour the greeting. I coloured the flowers with copics and added some gold gems. I also coloured some peels off gold to add the wedding anniversary.

This next photo shows the dimension with the Butterflies a bit better. The butterflies are from the poundshop and I added a little gold pen detail.

I hope you will all join in the new challenge and share your All Dressed Up creations.

To make this card I used My Minds Eye Pretty little things paper to cover the base card and added some lace across the middle. I die cut a frame from gold card with a sizzix die and added the coloured image behind it. I coloured the butterflies with promarkers and attached these along with a greeting from My Minds Eye Blue Necessities.

Life is sweet.

Today is the start of a new challenge at I love Promarkers and the theme this time is Shabby Chic.
The sponsor is Fabrika Fantasy  and the image I have used is called  Summer Fairy.

For this card I used a MFT  double stitched oval die to cut around the image and sizzix swirl 2 die from kraft card. I attached some Butterflies which I coloured with Promarkers and also some berries and leaves. The greeting is from Jillibean Soup labels and the base card is flittered and glazed and is from Best creations.

I made this and then decided that it hadn't really turned out as Shabby chic as I wanted so I made another.... Post part II!

I kept my card pretty simple and printed the image out on Kraft card and coloured her using Prismacolor pencils. I added a little purple ribbon and knotted a Butterfly charm onto it.
I then decided to try Stampendous Frantage... should really have tried this out on a practice first to know what I was doing but no... I dived straight in and ended up blowing most of it away with the heat gun!! Finally I added a wooden word embellishment  to tie everything together.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Thanks for popping by - and be quick as the celebration finish late today!!

All Dressed Up New Releases.

Evening all - Today is new release day at All Dressed up Stamps- I love these days (Its just a shame life is a bit manic at the mo to give me a minute to enjoy them properly!! )
I have used All dressed up - Dreaming of Summer  and it was a privileged to play with this image before it was released. Pop over to the All dressed up blog to see the other three stunning new releases. (Can't wait to colour Smile its your Birthday!)

I cut a base from Crate paper patterned paper called Notes and things and mounted this onto Mint satin card from Create and craft. I glued some lace ribbon around the base card and then some Pale Pink Ribbon along with thin Gold edge cerise ribbon which I used to tie and bow and stuck to the greeting tag which is from Craftworks Card.

I die cut the image using my new Lawn fawn inside out stitched frames and mounted it on to more die cut mint card. A Butterfly was punched from Mint satin using a Woodware punch and I used a trail of yellow gems to link this to several paper flowers and stamen from The Ribbon Girl

Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft peach, Coral & Spice with baby pink cheeks.
Hair - Vanilla, Pineapple crush, Mustard, Sleigh Bells & Raw Sienna.

Fairy Faye.

I was asked to make this card for a friend at work for her daughter to give to her younger sister.
She wanted a really girlie theme and I had been after an excuse to get me some "All dressed up" Images - so this one called Fairy Magic was just perfect!

I had already done another card from her Mum & Dad which was very pink so I wanted a slightly different colour scheme whilst still being fit for a princess. I'm pleased with this purple and yellow combo.
The papers I have had in my stash for ages - They are from Rayher and they are lovely and glittered but I don't know where I got them from. I mounted a different pattern from the same range on to the Yellow bazzill card and tied some co-ordinating yellow ribbon around it. I got a big reel of this stitched edge ribbon from Hobbycraft.
Once I had coloured my Fairy - I used a spellbinders die cut to make the topper. I added some diamond stickles on to the image to make her wings and the butterflies sparkle. I then added some Doodlebug stickers to spell out "Sister" and the words below the ribbon. I used 3d foam to attach the image so it stands a little above the rest of the card.

I used these flex & promarkers to colour the fairy -
Skin -  Antique white, blush, soft peach, coral & Spice with baby pink cheeks
Hair - Tan, Cinnamon & Cocoa.
Dress & Bow - Buttercup, Pineapple Crush & Mustard.
Belt, Wings & Butterflies - Blue pearl, lilac, purple velvet & maroon

I would like to enter this card into these challenges -
Moving along with the times - Fairy enough.
Little Miss Muffet - Bingo

Clear it out - Glitter & stash
Craft-Dee Bowz - ATG with a bow.

Right then Monkey Mates - until next time -

Dream Big...

Do you ever have an idea of exactly how something should look -just not quite sure how to achieve it?? Well that was this card for the DT at  I LOVE PROMARKERS which is sponsored by MilkCoffee Digital Stamps. I chose this image called Charlotte at Paper Ship. You can find her here

I loved this image straight away but I didn't see a boat floating on water... I saw a girl asleep dreaming and her imaginary boat on a cloud. The theme for this weeks challenge is BUGS and I really wanted to make it look like the butterflies were Fireflies glowing in the moon ... but I didn't really think how I would achieve this... and I'm not happy with the "moonlight" from the top right corner or the butterflies but I do like how Charlotte shimmers. I used a Clear Wink Of Stella pen and Stickles around the Bugs.

Card Recipe -
Back ground Paper is Doodlebug. Image was printed onto some news print paper from Pebbles "Front Porch" collection. I added a cream ribbon which was accented with a resin bow. The swirly gems are from Create and Craft Rhinestone. The letter stickers are from Doodlebug and it took me ages to decide what greeting to put on it!

The Promarkers I used are -
Boat - WarmGrey1, 3 & 5
Skin - Coral, Soft Peach, Blush, Antique white with Cocktail and baby pink on her cheeks.
Hair - Primrose, Buttercup & Pineapple Crush.
Cloud - Blue Grey 1 & 3
Dress - Lavender, Orchid, Amethyst & Purple.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges -

The Ribbon Girl Challenge - Colour from your flag.
Creative Corner Challenge - For a child
Sparkles challenge - Ribbon.
Digitally sweet challenge 136 - Things with wings.
Ants in my pants -Anything goes
