Santa's family Selfie

Good morning
Today sees the start of a new challenge at I love Promarkers and this time we are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter and its an ANYTHING GOES theme.

I have used an image called Santa's Family Selfie.  I am going to try (see how long I keep it up for??!) and make a few Christmas cards all year around this year as I am always rushing and my nearest and dearest always seem to be the ones that end up losing out. I must owe my Husband several years of Birthday, Valentines and Anniversary cards!!

I cut some Doodlebug christmas papers down to make a panel and put some green glitter ribbon across to cover the join. I coloured the image and then cut a frame from black card and glued the image behind it. I added three little red gems to the bottom corner and also die cut the greeting from black card using a Lawn Fawn die.

I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual
Warm grey hair
Poppy, Ruby & Cardinal Red.
Emerald, lush green & lime green
Cocoa & caramel

Looking forward to seeing your creations!

Surfin Santa - And Relax....

Hello - Happy Christmas !
I have used Surfin Santa as I think Father Christmas will by now be lay on a beach somewhere relaxing after all the manic rushing around. I hope you are all getting chance to chill out a little now that lunch has been served and everyone is a little snoozy!

I have used paper from Lawn Fawn Snow days and present paper from Pink Fresh Oh joy and covered the join with red Ric Rac ribbon. I added some Doodlebug enamel dots and a clear sticker greeting from Simple Santa Claus and Co. I die cut the image using a Lawn Fawn double stitched oval and mounted it onto black.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Ivory, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Beard - Ice Greys.
Shorts - Powder blue, Sky Blue & Royal blue.
Surf board - Red & Ruby, Emerald & Lush Green, Lime Green & Pear Green.

Hope you are all having a lovely Christmas holiday and spending it just how YOU want to!!

Tea & Biscuits for Dad.

Morning - Today's card is made for the latest Dr Digi challenge to celebrate the 4th Birthday! I have used Feet up and a Cuppa
and some of the fab Biscuit background papers but better than that you can buy these as a Tea time Set and all for a bargain price.
If you use one of the Tea images (and there are loads of them...) to enter the challenge you could win one of the fab Mugs - Its being called a Mug-a-thon!!

To make this card I cut a panel from the Biscuit paper and mounted this onto black and Kraft card. I used a Lawn fawn die to cut the wonky stitched panel and mounted this on Black also. I stamped a Lawn Fawn greeting across the bottom to say "Happy Father's Day" and glued a Wooden Tea Cup to the end. I coloured the image and used 3d foam to attach it, which I also did with the die cut letters from Papermania.

I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Top & Slippers - Khaki & Pesto
Chair - Vanilla, Pastel Yellow & Starfish.
Hair - Cool Greys 1, 2, 3 & 4
Waist coat - Crimson, Cardinal Red & Burgandy
Trousers - Rock Pool & Capri Blue

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Animal Magic at The Paper Shelter.

Morning All -
Today is the start of a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter. The theme is Animal magic and I knew I had to use this image called Tucan. How cool is he??!

I used a black card base and covered this with a White zigzag die cut panel using My Favourite things Die-namics. I knotted a strip of Blue ribbon and glued this down the edge. I placed the coloured image over the zigzags and then added the die cut leaves which I cut using my Silhouette. I used star dust stickles on the leaves and beak to make them glisten a little.
I finally added a white peel off greeting and a few co-ordinating coloured gems.

I used these promarkers & Flexmarkers to colour the image -
Birds body - Black & Ice Greys
Beak - Gold, Pumpkin, Mandarin & Orange, Sky blue, Azure & Prusian, Vermillion & Maroon.
Leaves - Lime zest, Lime Green, Grass & Emerald
Branch - Raw Sienna & Cocoa.
All edged in Cloud Blue.

Love to see all your entries over on The Paper Shelter challenge and remember it doesn't have to be one of there images to play or win!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges -
Ellibelle's Creatures and critters - Animals
Craftin Desert Diva - Natures Wonders
Eureka Stamps - Tic Tac Toe - Die Cut, Rhinestones & Ribbon
Cardz 4 Guyz - Birds of a Feather
