Morning - For todays card I have coloured Commuter Colin from Dr Digi. There is so much going on in this image so I kept the card really simple.
I covered the base card with Black & white striped paper from My Favourite things and then die cut the image using My Favourite things stitched wonky rectangle die.
I stamped a greeting from Mama Elephant and mounted this onto red and used 3d foam to attach it to the card. I used some silver pen to add detail and a few card candy from Craftworks card.
I used so many copics that I didn't even try to keep track of which ones! I figure with this one - just play and see what happens!
Have a lovely day - I am actually on the second day of a copic colouring course with Faye Wynn Jones and the Dies to Die For shop - So I will be learning lots of fab new combos and techniques to share with you!

Krayzee Katz
Morning - its the start of a new challenge over at I love promarkers and sponsored by Ikes Art. I have used an image called Krayzee Katz - the theme is to use dies.
I covered the base with card with paper from Crate Paper On Trend. I die cut the image with My Favourite things wonky stitched die and went over the stitching with silver pen, which I also used to colour the image. I also used silver mirri to die cut the leaves from MFT and Paper smooches Happy Birthday and another die from Marianne design to create the red mirri flower. Finally I added a thin strip of silver washi tape.
I used these flexmarkers and Promarkers to colour the image -
Pastel green & Frosted Jade
Blue pearl, Violet & Prussian
Poppy & Cardinal Red.
That's all from me for now,
Liz (:(|)x

Tv Dinner Dennis
Morning - Here is todays card created for Dr Digi using TV Dinner Dennis.
That big pile of Bangers and Mash just made me think of Cowboys so I've teamed Dennis up with a Western film strip which also holds the Twisted easel card in place. These cards are so easy to do but really effective.
I printed the image out four time - Three on the patterned papers for the chair, trousers and slippers and once onto white. On the white layer I used promarkers to colour the rest of the image and then layered the him on to the chair pattern. The next layer of the trousers I glued onto the coloured image and finally added the slippers.
I used some wood effect paper across the bottom and some white star embossed paper as his floor and wallpaper. I cut a panel from the comic strip and mounted this onto black card which I then used 3d foam to raise in order to hold the front upright.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Unusal
Hair, Tray & Sausages - Tan, Cinnamon, Cocoa & Henna,
Top - Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Napkin - True Blue & Royal Blue
Mash - Light Fawn & Saffron
Peas - Leaf Green & Lush Green
Warm Grey 1, 2 & 3 to shade the image along with Powder blue on the plate and his eyes.
Right I will be at work whilst you read this today - so hope you all make the most of your Sundays off! Im not at all bitter!! But I will get a lie in on Monday so it's all ok!

Moving house with Open Top Olive
Todays Dr Digi card is using Open Top Olive.
It's the first time I've coloured this one up and it was fun doing the car to try and make it look shiny!
I've made this car for My Sister who is moving to the countryside so she and her husband have been back and to decorating and playing with the tractor and sit on lawnmower. They have a soft top MG and three dogs so this image was perfect although not a traditional New Home image - Just shows how versatile the Dr's images are!
I die cut the front of the card with My Favourite things basic scalloped stitched edge die and created a panel using acetate. I covered the back card with Patterned paper from Bella Blvd Family frenzy collection. I used silver pen on the car to give a metalic look and also white pen to give extra shine. I spelt out the greeting using Skinny letters from Doodlebug.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Car - True Blue, Royal Blue & Egyptian Blue.
Hair - Buttercup, Pineapple Crush & Raw Sienna.
Dog - Raw Sienna, Warm Grey 3 & 5
Top - Poppy.
Tyres - Black, Cool Grey 2, 4 & 5
Well thats all from me for now - Don't forget the birthday competion is still running at the Facebook page.

Let's Party
Morning - Here to show you my latest post at Dr Digi using Vic the Viking.
I actually did a Chicken & egg thing with this card as I got the image to go with the papers which are from Doodlebug and called Dragontails. I love the blues & greens with the orange - right up my bright street!
As you know I have been a little quiter than usual lately due to being busy at work helping to deal with the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Manchester so it is really sad to be typing this post with another incident being reported on the news in London Bridge which has more fatalities and injured.
The world is certainly a crazy and confused place right now.
Seems a little glib to say this but Crafting is my switch off button... I get completely caught up in my colouring and creating that I thing about little else. I can forget about a crappy day at work or any worries for a few hours.
All of the papers used are from Doodlebug DragonTails. The image and Ship panel are die cut using My Favourite things Inside Outside square stitch die. I then cut the little flags by hand and cut out the greeting strip from one of the patterned papers. Finally I added some matte enamel dots also from Doodlebug and used Silver pen to add some metallic detail.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual
Boots & Belt - Ice greys 1-5
Bag - Oasis & Turquoise
Trousers & Helmet - Lime Zest, Lime Green & Pear Green
Beard & Hair - Gold, Bright Orange & Orange
Top - Sky Blue, True Blue, Royal Blue & Egyptian Blue.
Shield & axe - Sandstone, Cinnamon & Raw Sienna.

It's a Hard Day's Knight with St George.
Morning - hands up who actually knew it was St Georges Day? Honestly ... ok it was on my calendar when I was planning my cards as I have had to be quite organized, as the Husband & I have been down in London for a few days and we went to see a friend who is a Yeoman in the Tower of London. We got a private group tour of the Tower after it had closed and were priviledge to see 800 year old Ceremony of the Keys. So this image called Hard Day's Knight just seemed to be ideal! I am feeling all Patriotic!
I don't often put none crafty photos on my blog but think these are worth sharing... Hope you don't mind!
Also shameless plug but its for Charity.... Andy Merry - The Yeoman has recently been diagnosed with MS. Andy was in the Marines before he moved to The Tower of London so has set himself the challenge on climbing Mount Blanc to raise money for the MS society and The Royal Marines Charity. Here is the link to the website Mount Blanc for MS and the charity fundraising page
MtBlancforMS if anyone wanted to read more.
We had a fantastic time and raised lots of money for the challenge.
Thats all from me for now. Hope you don't mind my post being a little different form the norm! The card ingredients can be found listed at the bottom of this post in the Labels sections
Thanks for popping by,

Hello All - Todays post is for a new challenge at I love Promarkers. This time the sponsor is my favourite Dr Digi's House Of Stamps and we have an Anything Goes theme - so there is no excuses for not entering some brilliant creations!

Laptop & trousers - Warm Grey 1,2, 3 & 5

Mum's 70th Birthday
Morning - I know I told you it was my Mum's70th birthday recently but I don't think I showed you the card I made for her using Stamping Bella - Uptown Girl Brittany the Birthday Girl
(As a side issue... how are is it to photograph a card that has foiling detail on it??!) The kraft card has lovely gold detailled flags and is from Dear Lizzy American Crafts.
I die cut a banner from Purple swiss dot bazzill card and used Doodlebug letter stickers to spell put 70th. I mirrored the big bow of the image with a big purple ribbon bow from Paperchase and then added the Happy Birthday which I cut in half to fit in the space better. These are from Pebbles. I also added a little silver pen to add details and some co-ordinating purple gems from Papermania
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft peach, Coral, Spice and Baby Pink.
Hair - Warm grey 5 & 3
Cake - Gold, Sunflower & Canary.
Dress - Pink Pearl, Spring lilac, Wild Orchid, Red violet & Imperial Purple.
I hope you like it - I know Mum did. We bought her a lovely necklace too made up of 7 rings and with an amethyst in the middle as this is the Birthstone for February and why I went with this purple and gold theme.
See you back here soon with some very exciting news....

Will you be Mine?
Morning - It's so nearly Valentines day so I thought I would make a manly card that wasn't too lovely or slushy and Deep Sea Doug from Dr Digi was the ideal image.
Hubby and I had date night last night and went for dinner and cocktails until we were so full we could barely walk home!! It wasn't because it was nearly Valentines day but our first weekend off together for a while so we had it booked in for ages... Romantic hey??!
So how do you think I have done? Even though there is pink - it isn't too girlie! This paper from a 12 x 12 Reflections pad called Today, Tomorrow and Forever matched perfectly the colours I used on the image (Incidentally I got this pad from TK Maxx and its is identical to a My Minds Eye 6X6 Pad... ?) I die cut the anchors using a Lawn fawn die from silver mirri and a gold textured card and couldn't decide which one to use so I used both!! I punched a hole in them and tied some twine around them to dangle which I attached on the inside.
I die cut around the image with My favourite things wonky stitched rectangle die and mounted it on to black card. Finally I added a few co-ordinating sequins and some silver pen to add a little extra detail.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - usual
Helmet & hair - Cool greys
Words - Pastel pink, Antique pink & Red Sweater.
Suit - Sea Mist, Pastel green, Aquamarine & Soft Green
Mine - Dove Grey, Stone wash, Blue Lake & Hearthstone.
That's all from me for now - Hope you all have a love filled Valentines Day - how ever and whom ever you spend it with,

Santa's family Selfie
Good morning
Today sees the start of a new challenge at I love Promarkers and this time we are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter and its an ANYTHING GOES theme.
I have used an image called Santa's Family Selfie. I am going to try (see how long I keep it up for??!) and make a few Christmas cards all year around this year as I am always rushing and my nearest and dearest always seem to be the ones that end up losing out. I must owe my Husband several years of Birthday, Valentines and Anniversary cards!!
I cut some Doodlebug christmas papers down to make a panel and put some green glitter ribbon across to cover the join. I coloured the image and then cut a frame from black card and glued the image behind it. I added three little red gems to the bottom corner and also die cut the greeting from black card using a Lawn Fawn die.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual
Warm grey hair
Poppy, Ruby & Cardinal Red.
Emerald, lush green & lime green
Cocoa & caramel
Looking forward to seeing your creations!

All Dressed Up Cool Dude
Wow - don't the months fly by at the moment... Its def time for me to be in full flow christmas making season... every year I promise myself I will make Christmas crafts all year around to be ready but it has yet to actually happen!!
So It is time for a new challenge to be launched at All Dressed Up stamps. And here is my DT creation using Cool Dudes.
There is loads of inspiration over at the blog page and on the facebook group. You can enter the month long challenge with any creation using an All Dressed Up image to win more of the fabulous images by designer Wendy Burns.
The background scene is from Simple Stories Snow Fun collection and I have created a frame using the different shades of Blue Bazzill card stock. The Ticket is also from Simple Stories. I added my coloured image using 3d foam and then I used some Frantage embossing powder (Which I still don't quite have the hang of!!) to look like snow over the whole piece. I added some wooden snowflakes to keep it more masculine and used some liquid pearls to and some snowy dots. Finally I used some glaze pen on the googles to give them a reflection.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual!
Pants - Cornflower blue, Denim & powder blue
Red, Poppy, Ruby & Cardinal
Top - Lime green, pear green & Marsh green.
Hoody & gloves - Sky blue, Egyptian blue & Indigo blue
Dog - Ice grey 1, 3 & 5.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Ellibells creative Moments - Outdoor scene with a critter/ creature
Dream valley - Winter birthday.
Scrapbook stamp society - Frame it
Sparkle & Sprinkle - Use embossing powder
Allsorts - Feature a creature
Send a smile 4 kids - Happy Holidays for children
Colour my heart - colour challenge.
Thanks for coming by- Liz (:(|)x

I think he is fabulous - it makes me think of the advert where the builders and bankers have a dance off!
I covered a background card with a piece of paper from My Minds Eye All things chalk collection. I die cut a yellow circle and the image frame from red mirri card using Lawn Fawn Stitched dies. I also used the Lawn Fawn big scripty words die to cut "Big Hugs" from yellow and I added a yellow arrow from Doodlebug sprinkles. I used a silver pen on the image to colour what would be metal and added a greeting from Craftworks card.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, blush, soft peach, coral & spice. Warm grey 2 for his beard.
Warm Grey 1- 5 - boots
Warm grey 1 was used to add shading to his "white" t-shirt as well.
Jeans - Capri blue, dove grey & Denim blue.

Big Adventure.
Hi - I am actually cheating a bit as I did post this image yesterday but with no detail as I just didnt get time so here is my updated full post using a Dr Digi image called Summer Holiday
This was one of those cards I knew I had to do when I saw this paper from the Doodlebug Fun In the Sun collection.
I covered the card base with the patterned paper and then used a Lawn Fawn wave boarder stitched edge die on the white card. I cut around the image and coloured it using Promarkers adding some silver pen detail. I cut a strip of orange ribbon a
nd glued this to the bottom and added a little green heart button. The little greeting at the top is also from the Doodlebug collection.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Spice, Coral, Soft Peach, Blush, Antique white.
Suitcases - Gold, Bright orange & Halloween, Cinamon & Cocoa, Ice greys & Pastel blue, Baby Pink, Cocktail pink & Ice grey.
Clothing - Sky blue & Powder blue,
Van - Soft Lime, Lime Zest, Lime Twist, Lime Green & Pear Green.

It's Retro Kids!
Morning
All - something a bit different from my usual style as
I've given my pens a day off and used paper piecing for a change. Now
here's a question for you- What comes first... the paper or the image?
Bit like the chicken or the egg?? I have to admit I bought this paper
and didn't know what I would use it for but then I saw this perfect Dr Digi
image called C60 and a design plan was hatched!
I did used the Warm Grey 5 and Black Promarkers just to give a little depth to the image and also a silver pen to colour the screws. The paper is from Basic Grey called B-side. I used a strip of matt black card to edge this to represent the tape inside the cassette. I printed the image put three times - once onto the patterned pink paper which is from Simple Stories snap basics collection, the other two were onto different shades of grey Bazzill. I cut the middle away and glued some acetate behind to create a window and used a little more of the matt black card to make it look like the wound up tape.
All the letter stickers are from Doodlebug Teeny type in Tangerine and finally I added some Doodlebug Sprinkles in co-ordinating colours as they reminded me of the buttons that used to be on my Ghettoblaster!! (Remember them Kids??)
And don't forget the Birthday card challenge is still going on the Dr Digi Facebook page... We would love to see your creations!
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Crafty Friends Challenge - ATG
Crafting with Attitude - ATG
Crafts Galore - Make a card
Freshly brewed blog - ATG
Inspiration Destination - ATG
Saturday Sketch - Sketch - I turned it around.
Thanks for stopping by... Don't forget to say Hello
