ADU Feed the birds

There is a new challenge starting over at All Dressed Up and as always the theme is anything goes as long as it is using an All Dressed Up Image. Ive used Feed the Birds

Now I coloured this image up whilst I was on our little holiday in the glamping lodge- I was sitting by the log burner , colouring by virtually candle light and drinking red wine feeling all snug and autumnal. (I've added a few pics as its an indulgent memory for me!! ) Today - a month later and the weather is warmer at 18 degrees and I'm sitting in a t-shirt! What is going on!!??

I used Prismacolor pencils to colour the image and I die cut it with a spellbinders die. The edge of the patterned paper I did with a punch from Woodware. The paper is from My Favourite things and the background paper has wood grain effect and is from Bazzill basics. I added a wooden embellishment leaf and little bird and finally tied some twine in a bow and secured it with a matte enamel dot sprinkle from Doodlebug.

I tell you there are million worst places to colour! I would love to go back - reckon I could quite happily life a simple life!!

All for now - looking forward to seeing lots of enteries!!

Alpaca the Wine.

Good Morning - Now you all know I love a pun - especially when an animal is involved too.... So here is Alice the Alpaca from Dr Digi -  sending her Happy Birthday wishes along with some celebratory wine!

I used two different colours of pompom trim  to keep a Peruvian theme (Are Alpaca's from Peru? and whats the difference between an Alpaca and a Llama??) along with the geometric patterened paper from My My Minds eye Jubilee Tangerine collection.

I cut the pattern panel and image using a My Favourite Things die called Wonky Stitched rectangle and then used stamps from Paper Smooches and Lawn Fawn Harolds ABC before finishing the card off with some co-ordinating enamel dots.

I only used a handful of promarker pens to colour the image -
Black
Warm Grey  1 to 5
Surf Blue & Powder blue
Coral, Baby Pink & Blossom

Have a great Sunday... Liz (:(|)x

Tango'd

Hello - Sorry Im a bit late posting this today... but there is a new challenge going live at The Paper Shelter today and the theme is Music and Dance. I have been waiting for a chance to colour up this fab image which is called Tango!

The background paper is from My Favourite things and the pad is Black & white basics. I used some red mirri card to cut some music notes from MFT note dies and also used black and gold mirri to die cut the skyline.
I added a chipboard greeting from Make it Crafty which I coloured with Ruby and Black promarkers and then covered with Spectrum noir clear sparkle pen for a bit of shimmer. Finally the whole image panel was mounted onto a gold mirri mat.
I coloured her with Prismacolor pencils and kept it very monotone - just adding a little glow from the light and a dot of Stickles on the light bulb.

Im pleased with how she turned out as I really wanted to get the sense of night time and being a bit sultry!!
Be great to see all your entries into the challenge and just look at the amazing prize!

Take a Hike

Morning - having a little break from Chirstmas... I saw these papers from American Crafts Creekside collection  and thought they were perfect for this image, which is called Faldaree Deirdery Dunderton from Dr Digi.
I love the autumn - especially the days that are dry but cold and crisp so last weekend we went to a local country park for a wander with the deer.

I used Prisma color pencils to colour the image and then cut around her. I mounted the paper panel on to mustard yellow and red Bazzill card and tied a little twine around the top. I added the bag charm to the twine before I glued it all in place.

Hope you like the card and get chance to get some fresh air this weekend.

Stamping Bella - Flower Fairy for Amy

I made this card for the Sister -in -laws birthday and coloured it whilst we were away for the o'th halves birthday in the lodge using Prisma Color pencils.

The image is from Stamping Bella and is called Tiny Townie Garden Girl Sweet Pea

Other than colouring the image and fussy cutting around her - I kept it simple. I used a scalloped edge die on a panel of Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid paper and I die cut a gold frame using a My Favourite Thing scalloped edge frame. The greeting is a gold rub on from Pebbles and finally I added some co-ordinating enamel dots from Doodlebug.

I would like to enter this card into the folllowing challenge.
