Alistair the Alligator

Good .... Afternoon (Blimey where has this morning gone??!)

Todays Dr Digi card is using Alistair the Alligator.
I've never coloured him up before and wanted to practice doing texture on his skin (Do Alligators have skin??) Anyways - I coloured him and them once the shading was added - I used white pen and the colourless blender pen to try and make him look a little "bumpy". I think it turned out ok although it maybe doesn't show as well on the photo as it does in real life.

The background paper is from My Favourite things Plaid Patterned Merry & Bright. The little flag greeting I cut from white card and stamped with Paper Smooches greeting. The three little green pearls are from Doodlebug.

I used these promarkers to colour Alistair -
Leaf green, Charteuse, Grass, Lush Green & Forest Green
Summer Sun, Gold, Orange
His eyes are Cloud Blue
His claws were done with Cool Grey 1, 4 & 5

Right off to try and make this Sunday afternoon a little more productive than Sunday Morning (But relaxing and being lazy is what Suandays are for right?? )

Reindeer Yuletide

Morning - A new Challenge is starting over at I love Promarkers today. This week’s theme is Animals  and the sponsor is  Little Miss Muffet, The Prize for the lucky winner is a $6 voucher

I have used this image called  Reindeer Yuletide.  which I was lucky enough to be able to chose for the DT. There are few different Reindeers like this so it was tricky to pick which one to use

I treated myself to some of the new Lawn Fawn paper pads and got this one call Knit Picky. I think it will get lots of use for my Christmas cards. The die cut greeting is also from Lawn Fawn - Big scripty words which i glued to Kraft card. The only other thing I have used to make this card is a gold pen on the wreath and some red & green card to mount the image panel.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Holly & Lush Green
Grass, Emerald &Forest Green
Cloud Blue & Powder Blue.
Ears  - Baby pink
Reindeer - Tan, Cocoa, Cinnamon & Henna / Light Fawn & Saffron

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

That's all from me for now - Looking forward to seeing lots of entries as Animals is always a popular theme.

All Dressed Up Design Team !!

Well you will never guess what... (I know I've kind of ruined the surprise in my post title but humour me!!) ... Go on ... Try and guess... Yep I was picked to be part of the All Dressed Up design team!!!
I can now post this here as all the new Design Team members have now been unveiled and introduced over at the All Dressed Up Challenge blog. Why not go and see all the other fab creations and talented design team members by clicking on the highlighted link.

Even better - why not play along! It's always Anything Goes Theme but you must use an All dressed up image. Not got any ? (yet - you will soon be addicted!) Worry not as you can get some lovely Freebies here.
You could win your personal choice of 3 All Dressed Up digi images; be selected as one of the Top 3 or be chosen as guest Designer for our next Challenge.

So without further ado - here is my card. I have used an image called Time for Walkies and you can get this from Funky Kits but you can see lots of other designs in the Esty shop.  I feel really privileged to be part of this team as I think Wendy's images are just gorgeous! (And I got a custom made watermark too! Bonus!)

To make this card I cut  a panel from My Minds Eye - The Sweetest Thing Collection and mounted it onto Navy Bazzill card. I picked this paper as I thought it mirrored the pattern of the knitting on the hat! I then mounted the flowery panel on to some shimmery pale blue card which I had used a Martha Stewart boarder punch to create the edge. I also tied the yellow ribbon around this panel and then hand tied a little bow, which I then glued on.
I used my new Lawn Fawn Stitched edge dies (OOO I love these!!!) to cut the image panel and I used 3d foam to adhere this to the card. I used a Pebbles accent sticker for the greeting and finally added some co-ordinating gems from Doodlebug.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice. Baby Pink cheeks.
Hat & Boots - Buttercup, Pineapple Crush, Sleigh Bells & Raw Sienna.
Jeans - Power Blue, Cloud Blue & Colbalt Blue.
Scarf -  Pastel Green, Oasis, Turquoise & Marine.
Jacket & Dog - Warm Greys
Hair - Tan, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Chestnut & Umber.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Craft-dee Bows - ATG with bow
Crafty cardmaker - Punches or dies.
