Hello! I'm all ready with my post this morning - in fact I am writing this on Saturday night whilst eating chocolate and drinking red wine! As tomorrow when this goes live I will be in work (boo!!)
So here is my DT card for Dr Digi using Retro rocket. I'm not sure this photo shows it very well but the rocket is attached to a stripe of acetate so it appears to be flying. I love these quirky extra bits and bobs as they can be used for some many different ways. I've used the rocket with a stamp from Waltzing Mouse Stamps Half Pint Heroes collection for the greeting.
The paper is from Bo Bunny Blast Off collection and I covered the round card base with paper from Bo Bunny Blast off collection. I die cut the yellow moon paper using Lawn Fawn stitched hillside boarder and embossed it using a cuttlebug folder. I used silver pen and also some white pen to add some shine.
I used these promarkers to colour the rocket -
Ice grey 1 to 5.
Red, Poppy & Ruby.
Powder Blue.
Canary, Gold, Orange & Bright orange.
Why don't you have mooch around all the Bits and Bobs for sale on the website - see what inspiration you get and funky ways to use things!
See you soon,
Liz (:(|)x

Mag's Birthday
This weeks challenge at I love Promarkers is asking for cards made with the Men in mind.
I've made this card using an image from Walting Mouse stamps - Half Pint Heroes
and made it for my friends Birthday on behalf of his new daughter Darcey. It was his first birthday as a Daddy! Darcey and I had a chat and she wanted it to be bold with blue and red. Her Daddy loves cars and bikes so I went with the car stamp.
The papers I've used are from Doodlebug - Kraft in colour which I mounted onto red Card and Red swiss dot paper which I used with a star punch and then mounted onto black. I stuck the stars on with 3D foam to make them stand out a little. I also attached some red chevron ribbon from The Ribbon Girl.
I stamped and coloured the image and then I used a corner rounder punch and did the same once I had mounted it onto the black card. I also added a few Blue papermania gems and I die cut the Silver Happy Birthday from Mirri card using a die from Paper smooches. I used lots of bits and scraps - I hoard!!So these little pieces are great for using up my stash.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image in -
Man - Soft peach, blush & antique white with cocktail pink cheeks.
Hair - Raw Sienna
Car - Poppy, Red & Cardinal red.
Lights - Bright orange & Canary
Wheels & hood -Warm greys
I edged the image with Powder blue and also used some silver pen to add details and a white gel pen to add highlights.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Cards for guys - things beginning with M - Motor!
Creative card crew - Masculine
Without words - dot the boys
Always playing with paper - Birthday.
Craft your passion - ATG
Come and get it - Use your stash.
Lots of creativity at the mo so I may be back before Sunday with another post... we will see how we get on!
Leave a comment to say Hi if you pop in...

Half Pint Heroines Balloon
I forgot to blog this card... been a hectic week at work and think I've just crashed out when I've got in so not really done much blogging recently but now I'm on catch up... And I've got a lovely new laptop to play with! (Although its taking some getting used too!)
I made this card for the Balloon theme challenge over at I love promarkers
I've had these stamps for a while but forget I have them and they are really versatile. This is from a collection from Waltzing Mouse Stamps - Half Pint Heroines.
The papers are from My Favourite things and they are currently ... my favourite! The pad is called Dots and stripes Sorbet. The greeting is from Pebbles and all the flowers are from Prima flowers and from my huge stash.
(Which reminds me I've just bought a trouser hanger to put my ribbon reels on... I'll post a picture if it works??!)
The gems are Jade from Papermania and I used a punch which rounds the corners and did this on the black mount card also.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers -
Skin - Soft peach, Blush & Antique white.
Balloon - Cerise, Frosted Pink & Lobster & Soft Lime, Tulip & Sunflower.
Hair & Basket - Apricot, Nutmeg, Raw sienna & Cocoa.
Bags - Oasis & Turqoise.
Powder blue for the outline and background.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Tuesday Morning Sketches - Layout
Through the purple haze - Flowers.
A gem of a challenge - One for the girls.
Right folks - all from me. Time for bed - Up early again in the morning. (ie 5.30am! boo!)
Take care,
Liz (:(|)x

Chip's 40th Birthday Cards.
Yep - the year of the 40th continues... This times show is for the cards made for Chips! Aka Dave - that's his real name. I know not why he is called Chips ... other than he likes Chips??!
The first card is from us two as he loves cars. I used a Waltzing Mouse stamp which I coloured in red. I used my cameo to cut the 40 from Black card and mounted them on orange based on road markings. I cut away the front of the card and used Acetate to create a see through panel - behind it I placed some Doodlebug papers. I also used my cameo to cut the Happy Birthday, and finally I added some Stickles to the lights and a little glaze to the windscreen of the car.
This card is from Nan to Chips. Chips goes to Bingo with Nan and has always loved the cards I've made for her with the Bingo cards on and asked Nan if one could be made for him - so here it is. Hope it lives up to his expectations! If you hadn't guessed - he also loves Darts!
I used American craft Thickers for his name and 40. The bingo card and greeting were from Simple Stories. I highlighted the 27th - his birthday with a die cut star embellished with green gems and added a digital image of a darts player from Digistamp Boutique, coloured as always with Promarkers.
The problem (Not really?!) with making cards is you have to come up with several ideas for the same person - Card No3 for Chips.
This card used another Digistamp Boutique image. I coloured him using promarkers. The papers are from My Minds Eye and the lettering is Doodlebug. I added some stickles to the beers head and glaze on the Pint glass. The stars are cut from Spellbinders. I added a few green stars from Kars to finish the top corner as it looked a bit empty.
It was the surprise party last night so I can post these now and I can happily report that Chips loved them all!
Next stop - Big birthdays for the Dads.
See you soon.
