I have a massive confession to make... I made this card for todays new challenge over at I LOVE PROMARKERS using an image from this fortnights sponsor Fabrika Fantasy called Dancing Squirrel.
What I didn't think of at the time was that the theme for the challenge was to use Pastel colours...
In my defence - life is a little manic at the mo!
I've used Simple Stories paper from the I heart summer collection and teamed it with the wood effect paper from Glitz and a little strip of orange card. I die cut a circle of pastel blue shimmer buzzkill using a lawn fawn stitched circle die. The wooden heart is from studio calico and I added a little yellow gem. Finally I added the wooden greeting using some pin flair glue.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the squirrel -
Pumpkin, sunset & berry red,
Grass- aniseed, apple green & forest green.
Warm grey 2 for shading
Edged with cloud blue
Baby pink & antique pink on mouths and ears.
Flowers - canary & poppy
I hope you like this card and get chance to join in the challenge... Don't forget the theme though - like me!!

2 Cool Cockatoo..
Hello - This is one of two posts today and this one is to show this image from
The Paper Shelter called Cockatoo Rules
Today is the start of a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter and the theme is "For the Boys"
How ace is this image!!
I used a strip of Doodlebug paper from the new Anchors Away collection. I also used doodlebug letters to spell out the 2 COOL which is on a sticker from Ikea (They really do sell everything!) I kept the card simple with a strip of ribbon and a greeting sticker from Kaiser craft. Finally I added a few enamel dots in co-ordinating colours and a little glaze on his Sunglasses and light.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers -
Primrose, Lemon, Yellow & Canary
Pear green, Marsh green & Moss Green.
Sky, Azure & Egyptian blue
Cool grey 2 to 5 for his jacket and bike
Warm grey 1 to 5 for Beak.
I hope you like him - I think he really is "2cool"

Wired for Sound
Morning All - Im on my own this weekend whilst the o't half is off on his stag do so I've had some quality time in my Craft room.
Today's post is using Wired for Sound.
It reminds me of the 80's with the roller skates as when we were growing up there was a roller rink in town. This shut down but has recently re-opened and its cool again... I've not strayed in yet but reckon I'd look pretty much like this image - In my throw back Neon legwarms!!
I used papers from Simple Stories DIY Boutique for both the patterned panels which I mounted onto co-ordinated card stock. I die cut the image using a Lawn Fawn Wonky stitch rectangle. I also die cut the silver chevrons using a My Favourite things die. I added three green Doodlebug sprinkles in the top corner and then added the greeting using Doodlebug letters in pink. I used a little silver pen to highlight bits on the image.
I coloured the image using these promarkers & flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique white, blush, soft peach, coral & Spice.
Hair - Ice Grey 3 & 1 along with a little Cloud blue.
Pads & walkman - Ice Grey 1 to 5.
Top - Arctic blue, Sky blue & Azure
Shorts - Lime twist, Lime green & Bright green,
Skates - Babo pink, carmine, shocking pink, vermillion.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Hope you like it... I'm going to get my mix tape and find my Ghettoblaster!

Discount digis!!! Get them quick sticks!
Morning All - my post for you today is to let you know about a special discount at All dressed up as they are teaming up with Passionate Paper Creations.
I have used All dressed up - A Star is Born which I printed out three times and cut to decoupage from Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid paper.
I found a free template on Google for the baby Onesie shape and cut this from Project life Baby Boy pad. I then glued this to an A5 card base and cut around it. I cut the trims from Yellow card stuck and glued these in place. I then drew the stitching on with white pen. I used pale blue enamel dots to look like the popper fastenings on the Onesie and finally spelt out the babies name using blue Doodlebug stickers.
It was pretty simple to make and Id love to see other creations with this fab digi ... especially as you can get it cheaper than usual!!
Id like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Sasayaki Glitter Challenge - Shaped card
Through the purple haze - layers
Crafty Creations - real or fake stitching.
Double Click - Welcome Baby
Colour Throwdown.
Inky Chicks - Baby Cards
Crafty Cardmarkers - shaped cards.
Thanks for coming by to look at my blog - it is appreciated.

Grandad's 80.
Morning - Its Sunday so its time for a Dr Digi card. This morning I have stuck with the current challenge theme of Sport as there are so many brilliant images that fit this theme. I was asked to make this card for an 80TH brithday for a Grandad who loves football. Where else would you find such a perfect image than this one which you can find here.
I used a strip of wood effect paper from Crate Paper DIY Shop down the side and then cut a panel from of the sky paper from Crate paper Maggie Holmes collection which I mounted on kraft card. I used a white fence die from Marianne designs and also a grass die from Joy of Crafts which I cut from Doodlebug paper.
The letter stickers are from Websters Pages and I die cut the Happy Birthday greeting from red mirri using a new Lawn Fawn die which I suspect I will use a lot!! I also used a little glaze on the glasses to make them shine a bit.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Shorts & Boots - Cool greys.
Ball - Tan, Cinnamon & Raw Sienna.
Clothes - Red, Poppy, Ruby & Burgandy
I used a little Icicle to shade the white areas.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Brown Sugar - ATG
Crafty Catz - Hobbies / Interests.
Creative Fingers - ATG
Jos scrap shack - ATG
Morgans Art - For the men.
Simply Papercrafts - ATG
Crafting with attitude -ATG

All Dressed Up New Releases.
Evening all - Today is new release day at All Dressed up Stamps- I love these days (Its just a shame life is a bit manic at the mo to give me a minute to enjoy them properly!! )
I have used All dressed up - Dreaming of Summer and it was a privileged to play with this image before it was released. Pop over to the All dressed up blog to see the other three stunning new releases. (Can't wait to colour Smile its your Birthday!)
I cut a base from Crate paper patterned paper called Notes and things
and mounted this onto Mint satin card from Create and craft. I glued
some lace ribbon around the base card and then some Pale Pink Ribbon
along with thin Gold edge cerise ribbon which I used to tie and bow and
stuck to the greeting tag which is from Craftworks Card.
I die cut the image using my new Lawn fawn inside out stitched frames and mounted it on to more die cut mint card. A Butterfly was punched from Mint satin using a Woodware punch and I used a trail of yellow gems to link this to several paper flowers and stamen from The Ribbon Girl
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft peach, Coral & Spice with baby pink cheeks.
Hair - Vanilla, Pineapple crush, Mustard, Sleigh Bells & Raw Sienna.
Butterflies - Maroon & Baby pink, Polar blue.
Leaves & Dress - Pastel Green & Honeydew
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

In the pink - Dies & Punches
Crafty Creations - For a young girl.
Freshly Brewed designs - Ribbon or twine.
