Apologies - This should have been posted on the 15th... I must have missed scheduling it!!!
Evening - We have some fabulous new images at All Dressed Up and I have been luck to play with one called The night before christmas
I have used a round base card and covered half with Pink Paislee star paper (Which I am totally in love with!) and the bottom half using a sheet from My Favourite things Plaid Merry & Bright. The greeting is from October Afternoon Holiday style. I used some ribbon from Hobbycraft to cover the join and a little bow tied in thin red twine above the Stocking. I mounted the wooden stocking embellishment from Wycinaka onto red mirri and added some wooden stars which were covered in Star dust stickles.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Bow - Poppy, Cardinal Red & Burgundy.
Bedding- Pink Mittens, Baby Pink & Cocktail Pink & Powder blue.
Hair - Saffron, Buttercup & Pineapple crush.
Cool grey 2.
Bed - March Hare & Tan
Holly - Leaf Green & Lush Green.
There are lots of other creations made by the DT over at the Challenge blog and on the facebook page. Plus we have a challenge running every month from the 15th which is always an Anything goes theme as long as you use an All Dressed up iamge and even better there are some lovely freebies on the blog to get you started.
Hope you're all in full festive swing and I will be back with more Christmas cards soon.

Nightcap Derek - ready for Christmas
Afternoon - finally got to this Sunday where things can slow down a little. All the christmas parties and party prep is done and great times had but I am now ready to have a few cosy nights in front of our new log burner and freshly decorated living room. I - like Derek - from this image called Nightcap Derek will be sitting in my PJ's whilst drinking sherry and wrapping presents.
This card used paper from Pink Paislee which I cut using a lawn fawn die, The greeting is from Elle's studio and the present is a sticker from Doodlebug. I added a few wood chip stars (I have bought loads of these wooden embellishments lately... my current fav!) these are from Wycinanka and I added some star dust stickles to them. I used some gold pen on Derek and attached him with 3d foam.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour him -
Skin - Antique white, blush, soft peach, coral & spice.
Moustash and shading on white - Cool grey 1, 2 & 4
Candle - Buttercup
Hot Water bottle - Red & Poppy.
Nightshirt - Powder blue & cloud blue.
Right thats all for me for now as I do still have to make all my Family Christmas cards - They always seem to be left till last!
See you next sunday

Jingle all the way.
Afternoon Dressies! We have some beautiful inspiration for you at this Months All Dressed Up Challenge. We don't have themes for the Challenge - just ask that you use any All Dressed Up image and believe me you will struggle to pick one as they are all so lovely. I have used 3 Little Christmas Girls.
I covered my base card with Kraft and Gold paper from American Crafts and used the red foiled panel from Simple Stories Claus & co collection. I added some ric rac ribbon across the join and some red mirri die cut music notes.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers -
Skin - Usual
Outfits - Red, Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Cool Greys 1-5
Summer sun, Gold & Orange
Hair - Raw Sienna & Sleigh Bells
Rudolph hat - Sandstone, Cinnamon & Cocoa with some red stickles on the nose!
A little Honeydew to shade the fur and wings.
I hope you like this card and will join in with our challenge which will run until the 15th Jan. I hope you get lots of craft goodies from Santa and some time to play with them!

Banksy Claus
Morning all -
Today's card is using Banksy Claus from Dr Digi. This is such a fab image for those tricky teenagers. I've stuck with simple red here but the beauty of digital it can be in any colour!!
I have used paper from Studio Calico paper for the background as it reminded me of more graffitti. The brick pattern paper is from Simple Stories collection called I AM. I mounted this on black card and then added black house boarder.
I used glaze and whilst this was still sticky I added Cosmic Shimmer to make it look wet. I also used Diamond stickles on Santa's fur to give it a sparkle.
I used Red, Poppy and Cardinal red to colour the santa suit and Warm Greys 2 to 5 for his boots and gloves. I also used silver pen for the cannister.
Anyways I better get back to it... lots more cards to make yet before I'm done. Although I have got most of my Christmas shopping done after a mammoth session in Chester this week!! And if anyone is struggling to think of what to get me for Christmas - I'd love a Bansky...
Have a lovely day,

The Design Team have all made stunning creations which really show off the gorgeous images available from the Paper Shelter Website. On each blog that you hopto you can leave a comment and be in with a chance of winning a digi of your choise - Just for saying Hello! There is also the chance of one lucky person winning the main prize, all details about this can be seen on the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.
For my Special Birthday card I have made a card for my friend to give to her Mum for her 70th Birthday. I have used a Paper Shelter image called Regina.
I used papers from Bo Bunny Collection called A gift of life and die cut some feathers from the papers to tie all the colours and patterns together. I used a Lawn Fawn cloud edge die which I used on the black card and also the white pearl base card. The letters and numbers are thickers from American Crafts and I used a few co-ordinating enamel dots along with some silver pen to add details and make it extra special!
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour Regina -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft peach, Coral & Spice.
Hair, Boots & Cain - Warm Greys.
Skirt - Oasis, Turquoise & Marine
Jacket & Hat - Wild Orchid, Purple Velvet & Plum
Feathers & lining - Lime Zest, Lime Green & Pear Green.
Finally I edged it all with Soft lime.
Ok - now its time for you to hop on over to Lena's Blog. But remember to leave a comment below before you jump away for your chance to win the digi's.
I really hope you are enjoying this Birthday celebration with me and the rest of the DT!

Rescue Squad in Plaid
Morning - Today's Dr Digi image is called Rescue Squad.
I love the current trend for red and black plaid! I think I need a shirt just like this patterned paper! But how cosy does he look in his fur lined coat and gloves.
We are currently decorating our front room so we have no carpet down and it is freezing in there! I need this coat and gloves!
The base paper is from My Minds Eye Comfort and Joy collection whilst the plaid is from Simple Stories Classic Christmas. I mounted both these panels onto green bazzill card and wrapped some twine around the base and knotted in glove charm that was from my stash. I then cut an oval shape using my friskars cutter which I attached on top using 3d foam. I then placed the image on to the oval panel which is from American Crafts and has a wood grain texture to it. Finally I used a gold pen to add some metal details.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the Rescue Squad -
Dog - Warm Greys
Jacket - Poppy, Ruby, Cardinal Red & Burgundy
Fur - Tan, Sandstone & Cinnamon.
Trousers - Pine & Forest Green.
Boots & Gloves - Holly.
Barrel - Cinnamon, Raw Sienna & Cocoa.
All edged with Powder blue.
Hope you like today's creation - and are enjoying and hopefully getting some inspiration from these Christmas cards.
Thanks for stopping by, Liz (:(|)x
